I saw one of the workers I think Diana was her name eating while working the register….

Always an amazing experience at The Ideal Store thanks to Al! From the moment I walk in, his greeting always makes my day. His professionalism and super friendly attitude make it highly enjoyable. He clearly cares about his customers. It’s rare to come across someone with that kind of hospitality and care. I highly recommend meeting Al if you visit—he’s a valuable asset to the store.

Paid nearly $40 to fill a laundry card and none of it went on the card. They wouldn't do anything to fix the issue even though I showed my bank statement where I paid for it.

BEWARE I hadn't used my cc in a while and stopped by Ideal Store for some snacks about an hour later my cc company is reaching out to my to verify charges at a Wing Stop (which I didn't make) and had to close out my account. Friendly staff though.

Came here for propane refill. They only charged me for what fit in the tank. Not a minimum charge like other places might have. Everyone was really friendly. I was in n out in less than 5 minutes. Propane was $4.99 per gallon.

Not sure why the reviews are so low. For it’s terrible location, it is an absolute haven for groceries and other staples in the Menlo Park area

I have been going here for propane for many years. The new owners rebuilt the store. It is really beautiful.

As someone who lives in the neighboring trailer park, this place is exactly what we needed!! There's no other store close to the parks, or at least within waking distance. They have a huge selection of everyday household items and food. We are a family of 4 and it has been incredibly convenient to run down the street rather than all the way down Woodside road. The prices are a little higher than other places but I'll pay it so I don't have to drive further. The customer service is fantastic too!!

Not the “cheapest in town” anymore. It was $4.99 / gal on 2023/08/19. And they didn’t even check the certification date on the tank.

What a great hidden gem. Great to know they have onsite propane dispenser for refilling cylinders on the spot.

This is an obligation for them to inform the website that the time to put propane is different from the store time, I am furious about this and a lack of respect for the customer. a paper plate placed on the pump does not match the information on the website.

They literally have everything here you might need! The place is super clean and the workers are always friendly and ready to help you!

Susan is sweet as a rose, and good at filling the propane tanks. Delightful person, delightful experience. An out-of-the-way gem! Worth the trek.

What a wonderful very clean store. They have everything you can think of. All the staff will stop what they are doing to help you find something and are all so friendly. You can tell they like their job.

The manager of this facility racially profiled my son and nephew. Very unprofessional and disappointing. I would rather drive to a further store than to spend any money in this place. The manager ran out "to my car" in such a sweat, and panic asking about the RV park next door, which had nothing to do with the store. Not even knowing we were there visiting my parents. Terrible place.

It's like a souped up 7-eleven, only 100X better with lunch options, fresh produce and fruit, breakfast burritos, dinner entrees, etc. I was really pleasantly surprised with the selection, service, and cleanliness.

We'll stocked, small, local market. This place has saved us multiple times. We also fill and certified our propane tanks for our bot here.

Good place to refill propane tanks in an RV. They have snacks and drinks also. The RV park next door also has an RV sewage tank dump.

We had to stay at a nearby park for a month. This market was a lifesaver with fresh produce, great selection and locally made sandwiches and baked goods. It was extremely convenient. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Every member we met was friendly.

This little store just reopened and is under new management. It's a hidden gem. Please ignore the old bad ratings as they don't apply to the new store. I stopped on my way to Seaport and was pleasantly surprised at the produce they carry plus all of the other items. Some items may be more expensive than Lucky's or Safeway but some are the same price or cheaper. He has an excellent variety of items. It's immaculate and the lady who helped me was so friendly and nice. I will definitely go back!

I stopped by today to get my new propane tank filled and had a great experience. The store is temporarily closed, but the owner will fill your propane tank and probably tell you a story while he does it.

Just went by the store and low and behold, it was closed.....like, shut down!!!! The gentleman on site was very helpful as he always was in the past!! Gonna really miss this place. They will be opening again soon, as a general store and I'm sure they'll have the same great service!! Good Luck with the new store!! P.s. Thanks for the globe!!

Even thought they say they are closed/goin to close, the manager helped me so much with my Dometic Fridge going out. He said list it on Craigslist here in the bay, we'll sell it instantly, then run to Home Depot and get a new fridge to fit in our camper for the same amount sold.

I needed my RV propane tank refilled. I called 5 times, and each time they hung up the phone without speaking. Just hung up. Then I read the reviews on Yelp. Obviously a business that has no business to be in business. Unbelievably, and inexcusably RUDE!!! Stay away from this revolting service and take your business elsewhere. Absolutely no one should come here unless they like being treated like a door mat. Uhaul in Mountain View has the cheapest propane refill prices at $3.49 on 3.15.2017. They were courteous on phone and that is where I am headed.

An excellent place to refill propane tanks. I was using Blue Rhino exchange service at various places but they only part-fill their tanks, meaning more frequent exchanges. I now fill my tanks at this place, and it's cheaper than exchanging. In June 2016 it cost me $15.86 to completely fill a totally empty blue rhino tank ($17.29 with tax).

Called to order an entry door for my RV standard size and when I asked if he could order it or tell me how much it woudl be to order the guy said, "I don't know, I'd have to look it up. There's a place in LA that sells used parts." Unbelievable.

I called over a week ago to ask if someone could come out and fix our leveling system on our brand new fifth wheel. The receptionist said she would have the owner return my call when he got in, as he was running late. She took my Info and I never heard back. Nice customer service.

They may be small and look like a country garage, but after jumping around big RV shops and calling dozens of others, their fantastic friendly service was a breath of fresh air. They were extremely helpful and eager to find solutions for our problems

Called ahead of time and gave the guy all the information on my trailer, and the problem I was having with my heater in order to verify the part availability. "Yes, we have those parts in stock" was the answer. I get there and he tells me he might have the part, but he had to look around for it. I reminded him I called him and gave him all the information not more than 1 hour ago and he said "in stock". He replied it would be $47.50 to tell me what was wrong with the heater, not including part costs, and they don't make those parts any longer. I told him I already knew what was wrong, I just needed the part. He said it takes time to look for it, and if I did not feel comfortable leaving the heater and the $47.50 for him to find the part.... I will not be visiting this business again!

They helped me reseal and coat my entire roof and it looks great. They have more stock than any place around. Racks Full of parts, new, some used and stuff for older RVs. One can spend hours looking around in there. Great prices and great service. The owner is really cool and more than willing to help you. Our first visit ended up with me arrivng 30mins after store hours and he opened the door for us to shop and look around as he finished closing up. Great Place. A little RV Gold Mine. Very Helpful!!! ...Ron
