Have gone to exchange Soda Stream canisters and then they don’t have them in stock, so I figured I would call ahead.
Good luck getting anyone, in any department, to pick up the phone.
Horrible return/exchange experience. Even if a customer is doing an exchange for the same exact item but a different size, the store will make you pay the current price. They will not honor the original price that the customer paid
Do not go to this Target!! Too understaffed!!! I came in to get a knife sharpener (which the app said was in stock at Redwood City), but it took way too long.
I expected it to take 5 minutes, but it wasn't on the shelf. After looking closely at the correct aisle (then frantically ), I pressed a button in another aisle to talk to an employee, but no one came after 5 minutes. I then chased the first Target stocker I found. They took me to the same aisle and called someone after they couldn't find the OXO sharpener (or any knife sharpener. This took another 10 minutes until a staff member came. He said it was not unloaded from the truck yet and he couldn't get it for me (and that there are indeed financial/staffing issues there)
The sharpener was fine, but experiences like these sour people's days. All together, it was about an hour of my day wasted. GET BETTER STAFFING REDWOODS CITY TARGET!
Target Review
Disappointing to see that Target has moved away from supporting DEI initiatives and being intentional about including businesses of color. Until they address and fix this policy, I can’t recommend visiting this location.
The only redeeming part? The guy in the parking lot selling fresh, ripe strawberries. Honestly, he’s holding it down better than the store itself.
Walking in carts, are there the little baskets are there if you would like to carry, they have a Container that holds the cleaning cloths to wipe things down, they were already clean, but I always still grab one. full. It was ready.
The staff was very busy. Starbucks was full as always says a lot. But they were there if you had any questions it’s a nice place to sit after you do your shopping or even before it’s just to go over your list. You don’t have to order anything. You can sit in there and. You need to grab something to drink or something to eat geez, that’s just not Starbucks in there. You can get icee You can get pizza you can get salads so much they offer.
Very well stocked, Everywhere I needed to go was clean stuff was working pretty Moore on shelves!!

The security guard that works here is very rude and disrespectful to the street venders I understand that the parking lot is owned by target but you don’t have to be a rude to someone that just trying to make a living. The other day I witness him go up to a teen giving flowers out of his truck he wasn’t even there for 2 minutes before he went up to his truck. It seemed like the teen was only there to drop off his flowers and to purchase stuff from the store but he rudely asked him to leave and told him he can’t sell here.
On the app I ordered and purchased two items and selected drive up and go, by the time I got there they only came out with one item and asked them where is my second item? They said “oh I don’t know!” So now I have to wait until the charge amount clears so I can submit a dispute through my bank! They seriously need to acknowledge online purchases selected by their customers like myself and others by making sure the developers update their app so we can too on our end!
The store in Redwood City CA provided variety of goods no doubt . My only and major issue is that there is no 1 around for help when needed. Only 1Billing counter is open .out of 4 I guess.No english speaking staff. Very disappointed. Had some query and the person doesn't know basics of english. The billing counter person asked some1 else to help but that lady just laughed and ignored.had to walk out without the info, was specifically there for buying that product.
I had to buy an entire cart full of stuff before taking an international trip! A very sweet older lady named Marsha checked me out and was so kind to help bag the huge amount of things. I just wanted to write this review to thank her
Thieves!! I purchased an item in san Francisco with my credit card. then i tried to return it. but this shop marked my receipt as returned via gift card. i did not get a gift card and it haven't returned anything yet... i still have the receipt in my hand and i have the item in my hand. now i cant return it because your system says "its returned already" what games are you playing?
I needed a mini pix camera and requested service on the onsite laptop and no help came, I asked a lady walking down the isle and she said she on her lunch break, ( horrible service), I asked if she can walkie someone which she did as walking away from acknowledging me. 15 min later and no help was assisted. I see alot of employees just walking around and. I one acknowledged me. This is horrible service in this location. Guest service need to be improved here. I will try to do the service help again.
WARNING! Do not sign up for Target Circle. I was prompted at the self-checkout kiosk to join and decided to try it. Within 5 minutes I regretted it. I asked the helper how I delete my fresh new account...He couldn't figure it out! I wasted an hour, first at Customer Service who forwarded me to outsourced Customer Service (lots of static and difficult-to-understand accents) trying to delete it. It took 3 people and 3 calls. It was one ridiculous circus, and they said I have to wait a few days to see if it they managed to do it and to assure my info was purged. Demand FTC's Click-To-Cancel law to solve this problem of companies making it easy to sign up and VERY HARD to get out.
At this point, I think Target might be the most important store for our family. There are many locations nearby, and now that they sell fruits and food, it has become much more convenient compared to before.
Do not buy from this target!! Every time I use the app to purchase groceries and go to pick up, they are missing items or place gallons of milk with holes in them leaking all over my car!!! They continue to charge me for items they never even give me!!!! They are thieves!!! The employees are a bunch of odd people that act very creepy when placing your groceries in your trunk!!!! Thieves!!!!! I will report you to corporate!
Thanks to Manuel at the registers, we had an amazing experience at Target. He was incredibly kind and patient with us, and you could tell how naturally helpful and attentive he was. He handled everything with such grace, making our checkout smooth and pleasant. It’s clear that he’s in the perfect role for customer service. There is a man who works there who is at the entrance as security, who spends his time spying on the customers. I don't know if it is store policy, but in my opinion it is not correct. I understand that there are people who take things that do not belong to them. But his harassment is so great that I had to ask him, are you following me? And he only answers, "I'm not just doing my job." I felt very harassed. I really don't know if he is right in his head.
Went into this Target a few weeks back and went through 3 employees before I found someone who spoke fluent English! Unacceptable in an American store! This illegal problem is getting so far out of hand I can't even communicate with store employees half the time.
Love our Target! It offers one stop shopping with groceries & exciting merchandise that is reasonably priced at a very good value. My experience has shown well stocked shelves that are neat & tidy while being fun & interesting to browse through. My one wish is that they carry a greater selection of fresh produce.
Just wanted to share that Eric in the checkout line gave AMAZING customer service. He went above and beyond to help me use my coupons and also was just a very kind and helpful guy that put both my daughter and I in a great mood. Wish all customer service was so friendly and helpful. Eric deserves a raise!!!
I love to walk off the end of my work day at Target. It helps me unwind. I love to look at everything first, take notes, then go back and buy what I need. I budget for keeping it under $300/ month. I also own Target stock!!!
Your standard target. Although smaller in scale than others, but offers all the necessities. Go early in the morning on the weekends to avoid large crowds.
The new Target Cafe is awesome. The Pizza Hut in here has new toppings like chicken and bacon. Make your own pizza for $6. It tasted amazing, especially the toasted crust.
