Super friendly and helpful staff. I purchased wiper blades at another store and couldn’t get them to work. They offered to try putting those on my car for free. When that didn’t work out, they had the part I needed and installed it before I left. Couldn’t ask for a better service!
Man this place is completely useless I'm just standing there at the counter for about 5 minutes looking at six different customers just sitting there not one of them acknowledging me. Just want to cross the street to AutoZone goodbye

Just came in with a check engine light on. Jeremiah was really helpful and friendly. Free diagnostic and detailed printout of the issue (fuel cap seal was broken), and Jeremiah found us a replacement cap.
Most auto parts stores mostly have checkout clerks behind the desk. O'Reillys has people that actually know (cars) what they are talking about. For a DIYer, that knows very little about cars, that's a life saver.

Called this location and got a young guy. Need a o2 sensor. He sold me one $39.00 . After installing it my truck would not pass smog do to the bank 2 o2 sensor. We’ll replace with a new one that was more expensive. At another auto parts store. Took the one I purchased from this kid in there . Told him that it didn’t work. His response was ya that’s common. Whit that brand. When I purchased it he never ordered. Any other. I told him that cost $300 dollars because of him selling me a part that is known to be defective.
I would not use this auto parts place again. The kid is tall an has a hat very disrespectful. And obviously doesn’t care about the customers . Selling them a part that is known to be faulty.

Today I went to Orielys and I had the best service there. The guy that helped me was really helpful and knowledgeable about what he was doing in his job. The hospitality was unforgettable. Helpful staff. Interesting selection of parts & test equipment for 12volt batteries. They do have a good selection for a small store & even have hard to find elbow joints for hoses. Not the right size for AGM vents, but close. Nice selection of tire valve caps which sadly people steal. About $5 for a four pack of silver colored caps. As far as AGM high quality batteries go, they go for about $100 more than the same format in either Costco or Walmart… but seem to be almost always in stock here. Most of the Automotive stores along Grand Ave are pretty helpful & can even help those who are not car savvy. Of course, the prices can be higher as well. Thanks for the nice tire value caps.
Ordered a part for $346.64 to hold for pick up at this store....They charged me $191.21 to hold the part...55%.....the only good news is I didn't have to put my hands up when I paid the bill.
I have contacted them for response...what do you think my odds are...

Hey, this is the guy with the old volvo that needed help last night with the fuel pump Relay. I just wanted to say thanks again! I made it home because of you guys.
My son made an purchase of an air filter, oil, oil filter. The O'Reilly's employee gave him a cabin filter rather than the air filter, however charged him for the correct product (air filter). When I sent my son back to the store to exchange the incorrect part (down the street from our home), upon arrival he advised me that he was given a hard time by a male employee over the exchange (yes, he had his receipt). I find this irritating as there's no reason to question a customer with a receipt, unused incorrect product, that was clearly a mistake on an O'Reilly's employee, but it does not excuse the poor treatment and customer service.
Dave Fish is the man. Attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, resourceful, and helpful. Thanks for all your help. This parts store is the best and my go to period. Sydney and others there too, swear I should set up a bed inside this place. They always go above and beyond. They'll help research stuff, give solutions and ideas, and if they don't have the answer they'll point you in the right way towards one. Wide selections of goods, easy ordering and returns, honestly best parts store in town.
Phenomenal experience. Quick with assistance, let me borrow a funnel for the fluids I needed to put in my car, and provided a free "Check Engine Light" service. Friendly service and knowledgeable staff. Shoutout to Theodore!!!!

Curbside pickup for top rated car battery for our other vehicle. They were friendly and helpful. Loaded the new battery in the trunk and took the old one in exchange. I didn't have to get out of the car!

Very very impressed with one of the workers. I first want to say that all of the workers are more than helpful and treat everyone great. Second I'd like to say there is a gentleman that was working the other night. I was shopping and a girl came in and asked if someone could help her install her brake lights. This guy didn't blink an eye and went graciously and fixed it. He didn't complain or throw a fit upon his return. He went on about his business. It was so comforting to see human kindness! Last because I wasn't paying attention I was looking around and he comes up and politely asked if I needed help he said the store has been closed for a bit. Embarrassed but laughing I finished and was on my way. He wasn't rude about it and that made me right this review because by far every time I've been in, your employees handle customers far better then your competitor.
These guys made what could have been a bad day turn into a happy ending, very knowledgable and happy to help kinda guys. They have about every tool for customers to borrow, the test almost everything on your car to tell if it's good or bad for FREE!! They will charge your battery FREE! OPEN UNTIL 9pm
Worthless people and worthless help bad parts and they dont even stand behind their products. At least this store doesn't. I called few stores in santa maria and they said they would have just gave me the damaged parts that were caused by there product. They lie to so watch out for that. The store told me i was denied for a labor claimed. I called corporate and they told me it hasnt came back yet and they were lying to me and to waitimg for a couple more weeks. Ive made multiple calls multiple attempts to go inside and all i get is "they went to lunch a couple mins ago and they will be back in a couple hrs" lol pretty good gig if you can take a 2 hr lunch. So this particular store is worthless. Some of the employees that have been there for a while seem to make this a laughing matter and seen to get a kick out of it. Its all good when they dont have to spend the money on repairs that were not necessary.
Of all the new auto parts stores in the area. These guys are my favorite. They are friendly and helpful. They remind me of the old parts stores of my youth where you could go and pick up an alternator rebuild kit, cup of coffee, and shoot the breeze about anything and everything men were interested in. Women have beauty parlors and men in hung out down at the parts store.
I really appreciated Tim and Roger staying open after hours to let me test and buy a new car battery. They definitely went the extra mile. Because of them, I'm a faithful O'Reilly customer. Thanks guys!
Good service and fair prices. I go here when I need basic parts or chemicals for my cars. Sometimes they have stuff in stock that Autozone doesn't. I do love their tool rentals. Have saved me on a couple of occasions.
