I took my car back twice cause I didn't realize new brakes needed to wear down a little. Then my radiator replacement still had the smell coming from under the car. Twice they thoroughly rechecked everything again just to prove all was good. A puddle sitting on the transmission was the smell which they cleaned up. This was several hours of extra work done at their expense.

Brought a car for diagnoatics with problem area already known via obd code, they charged me for dignostics but could not give me a full estimate of the repair. The ballpark estimate given was 4x of what I paid elsewhere. Also tried to upsell on unrelated maintenance.

Like many people, I’ve experienced more than my share of dishonest mechanics, including at the dealerships. This was my second visit to A+ and, like the first visit, the entire experience was positive. The employees are friendly, professional, skilled, and honest, and the prices are reasonable.
What a great place! I needed an alignment and my son was driving the car the next day back to school. I called afternoon and they got me in the same day. They offered me the AAA discount (I didn’t even have to ask) and they fixed some loose and broken sun visors in the car that were flopping around! I see why they have such excellent reviews! I will definitely be back!!!

Had a problem with the starter occasionally not working. Our neighbor recommended A plus and we decided to check them out. They diagnosed the problem, sent us a fair estimate and fixed the problem the same day. Only surprise was they charged for diagnosis which usually is waived if the repair is performed. But I guess that is their business model. Overall happy with the service and friendliness of everyone we encountered.

Job was done for a very fair price considering the other prices about 2 dozen shops all around gave me.
Had a great experience here with a prepurchase inspection. Found them because they are a AAA certified inspection shop and they definitely deserve the title. They give you a comprehensive list of everything they inspected, and the webpage has small video snippets for the critical systems that explain their role in a vehicle. They also include pictures of your specific vehicle with the inspection for any noteworthy points of interest.
Was worried how thorough an inspection would actually be, but they checked the fluids, measured the brakes to the millimeter, even identified carbon buildup inside the throttle body. Overall made me very confident about purchasing a vehicle I was looking at, they left no stone unturned.
Guy on the phone and the guys in the shop are very knowledgeable, and can explain anything you ask them about in simple to understand terms. Identified the problems and didn't push at all to do the required work themselves, just did the full inspection and laid out the facts. Seem like very trustworthy people, would be confident bringing a vehicle here to get serviced.
I pulled into their lot almost an hour early and got very lucky, they were able to slot me in and have it done much sooner than originally quoted. Not saying they'll do that for you if you pull in early, but they were flexible with us and the earlier you can get into the shop the faster they'll get you out. Very efficient business.
Alan was very helpful and personable. He even called me later after I got my SUV back to see if the issue was resolved. They also have 3 year warranty that came along with the service which I have not seen anywhere. And they provided me with a shuttle service. They have been in business since 1985 and stood the test of time. I would recommend them highly.

I cannot express how grateful I am to the team at A+ Auto. I originally came in because a rat had chewed through the wires in my car’s AC system. I was expecting a $150 fix, but they called and let me know the damage was much worse than expected—it was going to be $580, which I sadly couldn’t afford at the time. I told them I’d have to reschedule and came to pick up my car after work, assuming I’d be leaving without repairs.
But then something incredible happened—Keith, the owner, came out and told me that Ryan (the mechanic) and Ale (the manager) covered the cost themselves. I broke down in tears. Times are really hard right now, and I never expected such kindness.
They told me they noticed my car is black and saw the car seat—and said there was no way they were going to let my daughter and I, ride around in that heat without AC. That moment reminded me that there are still genuinely good people in this world.
Huge thank you to Ryan, Ale, and Keith. You didn’t just fix my car—you lifted a burden off my shoulders. I’ll never forget it. You’ve earned a customer for life. 💛

Had an issue with my AC shorting out and brought my car into the shop for work. They fixed it by rerouting the wire around the fuse box. Then later on drove home to Michigan and had my father who has 30+ years working on vehicles in the Motor City area. I had another electrical issue this time with the headlights cutting out and my father didnt have the ability to rewire the wore harness as that was the issue.
I brought it back to A+ as I had scheduled suspension work with A+ but the parts were on back order.
I brought it in for the suspension work after driving it back from Michigan. Lights were working and the left turn signal was definitely working as I made a left U turn into the shop. I told the owner that the wire job they did was smoking and something was wrong with it, also that my dad had rigged the wire harness so that the lights would work and if he could take a look at that and see what was up. 3 days later I got a call that the HID headlight housing needed to be replaced. I opted out for not doing that as it was suspicious and the pricing they gave me was 1000$ over what my brother (another mechanic in Texas) would charge for the same part.
After taking it to a friend that looked at the headlamp housing he found that they had undid the HID bulb and left it loose and broken ($200 bulb) since it was left unsecured. We also found another power plug left unplugged. When confronted about these issues the owner insulted my father and family and said that they had caused the issues himself.
Don't trust this place as they are likely swindling you for more money. Used to think it was just a rumor hearing about this stuff being from Michigan. What a joke of a Mechanic shop!

When my automotive mechanic retired approximately 1-1/2 years ago, I thought it a daunting task to find anyone or a company that could give the same tremendous care and service that I had become accustom to. Well, upon meeting A+ Auto Repair, I have found it! Alan (the representative of A+ Auto Repair) has not only demonstrated superb customer service, but his knowledge, caring attitude, and professionalism gave me a sense of comfort. It was a breath of fresh air to converse with Alan! Even his demeanor showed me that he honestly cared about getting my son’s vehicle back on the road safely and securely. I've taken my car to A+ for about 5 years now. All the guys who work here are great and I feel super comfortable taking my car in for service. Everyone at A+ is so professional and kind! Their shop prices also seem very fair, considering a full synthetic oil change here costs less than it does at Valvoline. I also love the full inspection report they complete on your vehicle so you can see areas that may require upcoming work. They are always transparent about your repairs and make sure to call and obtain your permission before completing any additional work (even air filter replacements!) I can't say enough positive things about this business. Thanks guys!
We take all of our work trucks/vans to A+ and they always do a great job. We get them back in a timely manner and we don’t have to bring them back after to fix what they just did like so many other repair shops. The pricing is very fair and you receive constant communication on the status of your vehicle. I’ve even started bringing my personal vehicles to them because of the service quality. I would highly recommend bringing any vehicle to them.
