Diamond Auto is a SCAM. Brought in my vehicle for an engine code that was never diagnosed after 2 weeks of sitting and getting the run around from Ty who stated multiple times and gave dates on when an estimate would be provided. I've had to come in person on multiple occasions to receive any update because they NEVER answer their phones and don't call you when they say they will. After the first week I got the same exact update, showing Ty didn't do a single thing to my vehicle. I was not charged for the incomplete diagnosis but was charged for camshaft sensor replacement that I did not authorize. Took my vehicle back and got a diagnosis and everything fixed within 3 days at a different shop down the hill. Come to find out the camshaft sensors were never replaced and one of the wiring harnesses was cut, causing another engine code. I will never come back and I will never recommend these guys to anyone. Again, Diamond Automotive is a SCAM.
I love Diamond Automotive ... They care and I have never had the same issues as when I took it in.. they are fair and even check on you .. all good, community based people who go out of their way to make sure we are safe on the road wlth our family.. 5*
We started having suspension troubles in the middle of a long road trip and needed some last-minute help. Barbara and Tye at Diamond were amazing. They got us into the shop quickly, gave honest and transparent feedback on what was going on with my Subaru, and got us back on the road for a very fair price. Really good, kind, honest people. I cant recommend Diamond enough.
Excellent service & staff!! If I lived in the desert, this would be my go to mechanic!! I am on vacation & needed emergency service & they took care of me!!
Horrible place they over book and rush fixing your car, they did this to me and my transmission all out on the freeway cost me 4500 to get it home. Definitely do not go here.
I called this shop to see what they would charge to replace the motor and transmission mounts on my '01 Honda Odyssey.
I gave Ashley all the pertinent information including the motor size, and she claimed she couldn't look up any parts without having the VIN .
Since we hung up, I found the parts I needed, Auto Zone found the parts I needed, as did O'Reilly Auto parts.
I've been buying car and truck parts for more than 50 years and have never been asked for a VIN... EVER!!!
Having dealt with Ashley and her absurd request, I figured it wasn't in my best interest to deal with this shop.
If they can't find simple parts without unnecessary information, something is wrong.
Ty was amazing, he did not over charge or money grab at all and even did a fast-tracked order to get the fluid for my car so I didn’t have to leave her overnight. I’m even bringing my other vehicle in next week for a tuneup. Gotta love honest work.
Ty is amazing. He does whatever he needs to in order to find the issue with your vehicle. He really cares and his prices are always fair. I dread the day he retires.
We were on our way to camping in landers on memorial weekend, when suddenly the drive shaft came lose. We called so many shops on Friday, and Saturday. Most didn't answer, or weren't working for the weekend. Diamond was the only shop that told us to call back in case they had a no show. Luckily thru squeezed us in. My husband said they were the kindest so people he's every met, and if we lived closer they'd be our mechanics. Definitely recommend!
I cannot say enough good things about this car repair place I've been going there for 15 years the most honest people on the planet I will not take my car anywhere else the owner Ty is the best he spent two hours looking at my car do nothing wrong I asked him how much I owed and he said nothing try to find that in any other car repair place I cannot say enough how great they are

Ty and the Mrs. Are some of the nicest people you'll meet at what is all too often a stressful time - I mean, a trip to the mechanic ranks right up there with a trip to the dentist, your OBGYN or your proctologist, right? Well, just like a good doctor, they make an unpleasant necessity a whole lot better than usual. They have taken pretty good care of my mom and I since we moved up here a couple of years ago - from repairs to maintenance, they are accommodating, friendly and fair. Gotta love 'em! It is incredibly reassuring to know you have professionals you can trust when your automotive investment needs a little TLC ❤
I've had my 1949 GMC and my 1986 HMMWV repaired here and the work has been excellent and reasonably priced. I will be bringing all my vehicles here in the future.
Great service they had my car back to me in just 6 hours and it was the cheapest rates of seen in a long time Tie is honest and explained everything to me so I could understand. I won't take my cars any where else. I feel comfortable knowing I have them to run to is my car breaks down
The most honest automobile repair shop that I have ever been to. The owner Ty and his wife Barbara own and run this amazing repair facility. Their integrity and honesty is above reproach as is evidenced by the large vehicles parked in front for pick up. Diamond automotive is the only place I will ever bring a vehicle. Pricing is awesome and they always stand behind their work. Thanks Diamond for reminding us of what a true local business should be, others should take note.
My dad who is retired and disabled took his car in for maintenance. He is a really sweet and kind man. Amd diamond automotive took advantage of him. They told him he needed a lifter repaired and it was gonna be $1200.00. He agreed now its 5 weeks later both lifters and cams were replaced and his vehicle is in worse shape then before and they charged him $2500.00 for shotty workmanship and mis diagnosing of a cars issues. Never go to this place they are a ripoff and they do not know how to treat disabled people or know what it is to properly repair a car.

Pussycat (for those who don't know that's my truck's name) had her 100K check-up (14k overdue). I went to Diamond Auto in Yucca Valley and they are awesome! Ty gave me a fair estimate and final bill was .13¢ less 😀 Pussycat has 8 new plug sets and she's purring like s kitten. Diamond is my mechanic for life!
They are very honest and they put no pressure on you. They let you know how important the service you need is or if it can wait a little while. Wouldn't take my BMW anywhere else.
