This place is great. The app helps you find your vehicle that you need to get parts from. PYP is the app. They have plenty of carts to help you move stuff. A lot of cars. They have Porta potties and handwashing stations. The customer service is great.. So if you’re looking for a part, this is a place to go. I took photos of the oldest vehicle. I saw there, and it brought back memories of my childhood.
Worst pick a part location. Went to sell my car and was straight hit with attitude from a guy in the office. He was so rude and unprofessional. Never taking my business there again. I would recommend to take your business elsewhere. They need to check that employee and show him how to be respectful to people.
As an auto wholesaler bringing in four cars a day, I expected LKQ to be more organized and respectful of my time. Unfortunately, customer service is consistently rude, and there is very little organization in the process. On a normal day, I have to wait 2–3 hours just to receive a check, and on other days when they are behind, I’ve had to wait up to six days.
For a company of this size, it’s disappointing to see such inefficiency. If you are a high-volume seller, be prepared for long waits and poor communication.
You guys are really ramping up. Yard is cleaner, sign directi to which way the vehicle location is, so your not wandering all over..

Generally, a junkyard is not allowed to sell basic goods not related to its core business of salvaging vehicles and parts due to local zoning ordinances and licensing restrictions.
Went on a Saturday and Manuel helped us out with a courteous and respectful attitude. He really excelled the service and made the experience a positive one. He is also very knowledgeable about the parts he recommended to my husband.

I liked the black woman with the shades, I had tons of questions coming in (cause I didn’t know what I was doing/asking) and then she helped me out and was very patient with me and was such an angel! Definitely would come back and can hopefully see her again

I go to several of the PYP yards and San Bernardino is the best of them. They treat you great and with respect. Calvin is the wonderful. He is always kind and friendly and knows his parts. I would definitely recommend this yard.
Bought a tire here on Saturday. Tires on Sat come out to $18 and some change for any tires, including the ones when you enter. If u need cheap used tires, come in on Saturdays, they are cheap! What a great deal.
Stopped by Pick Your Part to get parts for Hyundai sonata 2016 . Found what I needed without too much trouble, and the prices were better than I expected. Big shoutout to Yvette behind the counter as she was super helpful and patient, answered any questions we had which made the whole process smooth and easy.
The prices are OK, employees are nice. But I don't like how EVERYTHING I buy here, from a cupholder to a wheel, they HAVE to draw on EVERYTHING with a bright orange, permanent paint marker. One time I bought MINT CONDITION sun visors, and they literally DREW DIRECTLY ON THEM WITH THEIR PAINT MARKER!!!

Went here for the Memorial Day weekend for the 50% off sale. This had to be one of the cleanest, nicest, most efficient pap i have ever been to. 4 cashier open. Free cold bottle water as I was leaving. What a great experience

Lousy the say tires a 12 a pop sat., not the rack ones ready to go but the yard you get urself. Then automatically also charge you a help dismount 10$ fee. Even if they didnt help jack. Dont mind a fee thats not ambiguos, it just felt arbitrary and disingenuos
Had a bad experience here just getting 2 batteries. Lady was rude just to get in gate cant ask questions about first time here wow. Guy at standing outside counter don't know if he security there or sale guy. Lady inside counter didn't know what to say when I ask about batteries what the price are and warranty how do I talk toabout them. I buy 2 batteries treated with attitude but I shine it on cause not waste my time with stupidity. If they don't like working on weekends from something they like. Cause there the ones that bring customers back for sales. This will be my last coming back to this place This my place were I lived for years sorry to say.
I’ve been a customer here for years and I’ve never had an issue till now. Some of the employees are real jerks and add the warranty without asking or informing you. I had one employee appear out of nowhere as I was reaching the counter to let the cashier know what parts I had. As if I didn’t already put them on the counter, dude had a major attitude. He didn’t do any of that to any of the male counterparts there but came towards me as I went to the lines being the only female. It didn’t intimidate me but it was annoying cuz dude was a major douche with his stank attitude.
Either way I still got the fender & owners manual for my 2015 Corolla. It sits well for my 209 paint code.

They charge too much to be asking to pull your own parts. Only worth it if you need an emgine or trans.
Wants to charge 120.00 for 4 electrical pigtails and a seat if seat switches.
They charge the "optional" guarantee fee automatically without asking or saying anything.
They harass customers and tear apart peoples tool boxes on the way out.
First and Last time using pick a part !
Don't do it. I advise to buy new for smaller parts.
For anyone who is a car enthusiast like I am, this place is like a candy shop for big kids. For anyone who can turn a wrench and wants to save a few bucks vs parts store parts OR grabbing a hard to find part, this place is the place to be. I always enjoy coming here (or any local LKQ for that matter), even if it's just to look around.
What I don't like about this particular location is that they're never consistent on what you can and can't bring in. One time I go in shortly after opening with all my tools. I get what I'm looking for but still need to return for more. I make my purchase, get my return admittance ticket, and return. When being checked in the second time, the SAME staff member who checked me in said I couldn't bring in my angle grinder. I explained to him that he checked me in earlier in the day, that he had just checked me out (tool bag inspection) not even 10 minutes earlier and provided me my return admittance ticket, and that on the return admittance he wouldn't let me take in my angle grinder.
Customer tool policy needs to be consistent and clearly visible. This isn't visible anywhere.
