First of all I will say about here is very honest and great people. I appreciate Abby and Marvin. I just like to know I can go somewhere and trust a place, which is getting more difficult in my view with this world. I had a incident with costly damage from mice chewing the wires in my car. The repairing and service was done with taste and profession. After something like that you want things to be fixed right. That they did with that mess! I appreciate and always been happy to get service here. I have not been disappointed with anyone in this place. I recommend this business.

Pricing was soooo much cheaper than anyone else, job was done quick and the people are so nice! Very honest people, didn't tell me I needed anything unnecessary. I would definitely go back!!

My Lincoln Town Car was overheating; the AC stopped working, and it was starting up slowly. They diagnosed my car the same day, and the next day it was fixed and running like new again. I'm super happy with my experience here and highly recommend them. I live in Mojave, and this is my go-to spot now.

I bought a car though these people, had some trouble paying but they did work with me. I will give them a A+ for that. But I bought some parts for the car, one was a alternator it went bad, I called and asked if there was a warranty I get a flat out no. So I did my homework and come to find out the company they purchased it from the alternator has a lifetime warranty. I’m so disappointed that these people would be so shandy!!! But should’ve known when they ripped off my friend when he had his truck there for about 2 months and they couldn’t figure out the problem he paid about $1500.00 to get his truck back and it die on him on his way home and he only lives 4 miles away. I will never go though them again. I do not recommend this place for nothing more than tires if that.

I was really surprised didn’t know that they were in town. I needed to get a smog done on my car. They were very friendly very quick and the price was fair.

Very thankful to the staff helping me get my Motorcycle going. I finally made it back to Houston yesterday! Thieves tried to steal my Goldwing the previous night, after no luck with the motorcycle shop, the Sheriff (Very helpful) told me to talk to them about helping me get my bike going. They had the correct tools and helped me get the bike going as the thieves damaged my ignition. My goldwing was essentially bricked! I was really really really in a tight spot and they were extremely helpful!!!

They sold me a lemon vehicle. They said they smoged it last year but would not do it this year. They worked on my vehicle but everything broke again. This place is cheap but you do not get what you paid for. Buyer beware! Best to pay more, you will definitely get more. Best to be on the road instead of on the side of it.

My truck started telling me to turn the engine off on the highway. Called these guys, and they snuck me in with no appointment, were incredibly honest with what was going on, and had me back on the road within 30 minutes. HIGHLY recommend!!!!

Charged an unnecessary $25 U haul cleaning fee. I had it for half a day just to go pick up a mattress and take the old one to the dump. I would not recommend this place who are obviously nickle and diming it's customers.

I found this gem in Mojave during my travel when the a/c unit in my family vehicle failed. Although the service required several hour wait while their workload was 2 weeks behind, the owners/operators was willing to go above and beyond to accommodate my needs. I ended up not having it repaired as my family needed to return home and did not have a place to stay for the time required for the repair. I highly recommend this family-owned and operated establishment.

My alternator died on me and the technician was able to repair my car rather quickly. He answered my questions and the service rep was awesome as well. She was very nice and was able to get a part for my car quickly. Definitely taking my car back if I am ever in Mojave again. Thank you all for fixing my car

DO NOT go to this shop. They will skip checking what you came there for because they are always too busy to do one car at a time.. Last week i took my car in because i had a slow leak in my A/C. I told them they needed to fix the slow leak, and then add Freon. Well i first had to wait about 40 min under an 'awning' that is about to collapse. They said their inside waiting room where i waited last time i was there was "shut down" i guess for standards not being met. Anyways i had an appointment, but they still took someone else before me.. an alternator job no less. After about 1 1/2 hrs later they said i didnt have a leak, which i doubted, but who am i? I'm not a mechanic. They filled it with Freon and charged me $135. I drove home which takes 5 min and i had A/C. Two days later i go to leave to the store and there's no A/C. So i take it back to them and this time (surprise! surprise!) they DID find the leak! NOW they want to charge me $87 for the part (which i checked cost only $75) $187 for labor, and $75 more for the Freon to be replaced. Now IF they had done what they were supposed to do the first time around, i would have a bill of $60 less. I called to complain that i felt cheated for them not checking the first time around, but Marvin just wanted to talk over me, and tried to justify his actions. I told him i was going to write a review and report him to the bar. His reply? "You do that and never come back here" You can believe that i won't.

They were very helpful fixed our car and got us back on the road very quickly and we very good prices. Thank you very much.

family-owned business. Marvin & Abigail are great people, very knowledgeable as are the mechanics, Luis & Hernando. I've called them in one of the afternoon or 1 in the morning they come and tow the vehicles...fast service! I have a fleet of 6 vehicles... They get all my business... and they do tires! Highly recommend.

I've been taking my cars to Marvin and Abby since they had their shop in Los Angeles. It's hard to find a trustworthy mechanic at reasonable prices so I don't mind driving to Mojave to have my car serviced. In all the years I've been patronizing their business, I have never had any issues with them.

My niece was recently traveling East through Mojave and started having overheating issues. Took car to Freeway Auto Repair. Older car—just purchased. Valuable lesson nieces—don’t take cross country trip in $300 car. Anytime. But the folks at Freeway Auto Repair stepped up and made major repairs (timing belt, water pump, thermostat, radiator, fluids, hose clamps, two new tires—I’m sure I missed something) same day. They stayed and worked on it 2 hours past closing time. Very fair price and service out of the ordinary.

These folks are the best! We called with an a/c problem while traveling, and towing a 5th wheel. We were 7 miles out and he said come on in. I told him we were towing a 5th wheel and he said come on in, we'll figure something out. They took care of us right away and charged a very reasonable fee. I would not hesitate to see these folks again. Family business and the kids do a great job helping out! Thank you so much!

These guys are great, was able to get my truck in and smogged the same day I called. Very professional. They where able to order high quality all terrain tires that where delivered the next day. Such a benefit not having to drive all the way to Lancaster or bakersfield! Oh and they do have tires there just I have a big truck and need off road for winter weather?

Great place with very very nice people. Treat them with respect and they will too. My car issues have been fixed as quickly as possible every time. I don’t understand the bad reviews, unless they are coming from rude people or who just wanted their car to be fixed in a matter of seconds. The owners of this shop go far and beyond to keep the customer happy

Don't go to this place for repairs!! They kept me waiting for 3 days while checking on a part for my vehicle. I called around and found that I could order the part the next day. On a Friday, I was told the part would be in the next day since they were an hour late ordering it. But "Oops, we aren't open on the weekend". They were suppose to have a tech work on my van Saturday anyway and were supposed to call me at my motel I was stranded at. They didn't call so I rented a UHaul for $1500 and towed my van back home. They never bothered to call Monday either. Bad business!

After a really rough start to Day One of our 9 day road trip, we found ourselves at this establishment 200 miles from home, driving on a spare tire with a failing AC system (100 degree heat outside). The owners took special care to get us back on our way quickly. They replaced our tire and serviced the AC unit with courtesy and efficiency. I was impressed to see their 13 year old son assisting with the tire replacement. Thank you, Marvin, Abigail and Luis!

I highly recommend this automotive business. I was having battery trouble with my motorcycle, while out on a ride. Pretty much stranded, I pulled into this business. Explained what the problem was, and I asked if they could help me. They didn't bat an eye, helped me remove the seat to access the battery. Immediately began to test it, then start charging the battery. Mind you, this is not a motorcycle shop. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. They got me rolling again in a very short time. And the cost was minimal.

This is NOT a review to the shop because I am not their customer yet. Just a reader of all the reviews before bring my BMW to this shop. After read all the reviews; I scared to bring my car to this shop. (I got to click "star" before can be able to post otherwise it will not allowing me to send this message to the owner) This is a note to the owner. "First time quality is what you will get the best comments". I understand that there is NO such 100% perfect at things in life. But at least not bad as the brake job that you did to Mr. Cooper. Imagine the brake job that you did to Mr. Cooper's car has fail on the road at 65 - 75 miles an hour; what will really happen to Mr. Cooper? Death? or in the hospital? If you did wrong to customer's car you will lost your credits completely. Remember, we rely on your service and skill because we can't. In addition, after read the answer from Mrs. Abigail; I feel like you folk at "freeway smog test and repair" might don't care the first time service quality. You folk do the job with a mind of "Just get it done with it"; and if the car break down again then you, customer, just bring it back and we will fix or redone it for you. Do you think we have time to deal things like that, Mrs. Abigail? we will NOT jeopardize our life for a poor service. Or if the customer is living far away from you; like traveler; you expect them to drive all the way back to your shop again jus for redone? Thank you to those who left the rate and review for the next customer to avoid some place like this.

YOU ARE BEING WARNED... Allow them to do only the most simple things. The work I had them do on my brakes was done so poorly I started having problems a few weeks later and I had to have redone at another mechanic shop. They misaligned brand new brake pads which are nearly completely wore through in under 3 months. Other issues with my suspension were "inspected" by them as good/acceptable only to discover those parts were totally or nearly totally wore out. I thought I paid for repairs that appears to NOT have been done. I am suspicious of those highly rated reviews as to whether they are legitimate by real customers.

Thank you, Marvin and Abigail for going the extra mile to help my family! My Sequoia overheated and blew the radiator about 40 minutes out of Mojave. The AAA tow truck driver referred us to the only shop in Mojave... They went out of their way to make sure we could drop off the car on a Saturday and pick it up again on a Saturday! They are closed on Saturday! We were pleased with the work and able to have a great vacation knowing the car was taken car of. Thank you again!
