Was a good place a while ago. This time I got ripped off. Had 20 pounds of cans and I only got paid for 13 . Was in a rush and did not say anything. I wish I would have raised hell. Will not come back.
Arrive before closing time because they close the gate before it. I was there Today (Tuesday,) they closed the gate at 4:39PM but the closing time is 4:45.
The service is good, just make sure you compare what they pay you with your receipt, they messed up twice, from what I remember.
Tengan cuidado esta jente no tienen verguensa y si no se fijan le pagan Todo susio o pintado. I took 3 ok size radiators took my time cleaning them up , only so they can pay me painted this people don't care about their customers they just want to make more money at customers expense so do not bring it here take it to City Recycling Center Best place ever. I'm reporting Canco Recycling so they can stop stealing their customers
Don’t usually do this but was extremely impressed by this recycling center. Before I went to any place, I made sure to check on countless reviews of places near me to make sure I got a fair deal. A lot of reviews from other places said that they were cheated and the scales were off but when I seen these reviews, I kept seeing fair and fast. I received EXACTLY that. They were efficient, fast and I got the most back from any other place I’ve been too. Extremely fair and I’ve found my recycling center!
The services and the workers are great kindness. The place very good closer/nearby to other stores bussiness and freeways. The prices of recycles are good.
Great place good service workers ok except one the guero the drive the forklift sometimes he had bad attitude the cashier guy is very nice he enjoys is Job, always I leave a tip, not many people do that.
Close to home, So I like it. Funny thing is some gentleman who didn't even Work there was even helping me get my things together And that was pretty nice
I've been going to canco for a few years and they are very nice and get you out quickly. Recently, I've had coupons each time I was recycling and never thought to really check the tickets. Each time they took the coupons and did not give me the coupon prices for any of my aluminum cans, plastic or glass. Was wondering why it was less paid to me than the other places with the same price on coupons as the one I used at Canco. I think they are in a hurry to get you out and don't mind making a few dollars off of the customer. I won't return.
The good news, if you get there at the right time it's generally pretty quick. The only thing that I don't like is they don't do a tare weight on the containers. I have a hard time believing every container that they have is exactly the same weight (containers are different sizes). To me, it's way too easy to pinch a pound here and there and the customers not knowing the difference. Suggestion time....put the exact weight on every barrel and have it verified by weights and measures, or do gross and tare weights.
I realize that it's a recycling business and there pretty busy at times but with the COVID issues they should take the time to pressure clean there loading areas and the containers that people put there cans and plastics in. They are filthy.
Usually pretty busy on the weekends. Today there wasn't a crowd but it was COLD. The guys aren't rude which isn't the case in some other places I've gone.
It was a fair visit. Although they have a sign posted saying "no mask no service" the gentleman in line in front of me was not wearing one still got served. I believe cuz he knew the employees. Other than that, the line moved fast.
Watch your receipt totals. Colored glass was considered scrap. I was not given credit for it. Out of 25lbs, I had 2 or 3 wine bottles, the rest were beer bottles. Being my first time there, I even asked if the glass needed to be seperated. I was not advised about the wine bottles not being recyclable. They lost my business. Not ever going back.
They are open and PACKED TO THE MAX!! Emptying out containers very fast. There's a line waiting for containers but they are working "rapido". .
Quick quick quick but there is a wait.
Low pay plus they need figure print to pay out $8? When the guy point to scan my fingers I though it was because I was going to receive more then $20 but either way I didn't like the fact that they scan my Id and finger print me plus ask for signature as if it was a big something major never going back I feel like my identity has been violated dont even feel recycling anymore
