Dropped off car at 830am wasn't done until 4pm only did a oil change said it needed special dexos oil chevy equinox charged us $363 I knew they were full of shit but I let them do it anyway fool me once shame on me ..I can get the oil at Costco $50 so apparently labor on a oil change there is $300 I will never do business with these people again I'll do the oil change myself or take it to Costco..that probably who really serviced my car anyway
First time I came in, I thought for sure I needed new brakes and rotors. They took a look and told me they were fine, but there was a rock or something which they removed. Charged nothing. Could’ve taken advantage and they didn’t. That’s very telling in my opinion. Brought the same car back, which had some issues. Fair price. Quick service.
This place is awesome. I've brought two cars and a truck to them and each time the service has been fantastic.
I live near them but work far away. Coordinating time has been simple and the communication has been smooth.
The work has been good and we've never had to have work redone. Their quality is what you hope it will be.

Would not recommend to my worse enemy, they throw parts at the vehicle instead of diagnosing and fixing them. Towed my truck to their place and after 2 weeks they are not able to fix it but did run up a bill of over $2,000 from throwing parts at it and I still had to go pick up my truck and tow it to the dealer where they repaired the problem for less than half what I paid these guys for nothing. Very disappointing experience. If we are going to set the record straight then yes i paid 999 only after I refused to pay the original 2300.00 bill you handed me when I went to pick up my truck. You stated you only replaced MAF sensor and parts were 545, that's pretty expensive MAF sensor that did not fix the truck which = throwing parts at it! So the voice-mail threat of court proceedings against me for lying in my review would be more than welcome. It should not take a bad review from a customer to make a business know how and when to be a stand up or reputable business, you handled it wrong period!!
The alternator in my car died on Saturday afternoon. The car was flat out dead. I had it towed to Bari's Automotive based on their reputation. They took it in on Monday afternoon and I was back behind the wheel in 24 hours. They ordered a new alternator and while pulling out the old one found a frayed wire. They put the new unit in and replaced the wire and a couple of other small items. Great work, great people and a fair price! These are my go-to guys from here on!

After taking our work van to a mechanic shop and being turned down because of the age of vehicle my husband found Bari's Automotive on Google. They were quick to accept the challenge knowing it wasnt as simple as hooking up a diagnostic machine to it. They completed the work promptly as I needed the van the next day. Baris automotive is the best mechanic that I have ever been to. Anytime that I need anything fixed on my cars I will go to them and I always know that I am going to get honest pricing and a great job that I won't be disappointed with. Nate, the owner, is knowledgeable and helpful and all the mechanics are great also! Take your car here and you won't be disappointed!
In early August, I brought my car in with a bad catalytic converter. They got it replaced in no time and returned my car to me for a reasonable price. However, within a month, the cat burned out again, and I had to bring it back.
However, Kevin (the manager) did right by me - excellent customer service, appeared genuinely concerned about the car and the work they had done, and showed definite pride in protecting the shop's name. After some diagnostic work they replaced the cat again, and tracked down the engine problem which had caused the failure (shoddy repair work by a previous owner). And the best part? He didn't charge me a dime for the work. I was fully prepared to cough up a couple hundred for the work, but he was more interested in ensuring that the shop earned a loyal customer - which they definitely did - than in gouging my bank account.
I will be returning here in the future!
I had quite an interesting experience with Bari's that I have written about extensively, If you wish to read the whole story keep reading, If you just want the TL;DR review -- Bari's is excellent in both service and quality of work and Kevin the manager there is very friendly and understanding, you should definitely bring your car here for your next auto repair.
So I brought my car (a 2000 Mazda Protege) into Bari's after my engine had started acting up, I not being very knowledgeable about internal combustion engines had a hard time explaining what it was doing, there was also noise coming from what sounded like the wheel/axle area.
Before I even brought the car in I had a good feeling about this place just from talking with Kevin on the phone about the issues I was experiencing.
I brought the car in Monday morning for an oil change and the aforementioned issues to be diagnosed. I called that evening, not having heard from the shop yet and I was curious how it was going, again Kevin was very friendly on the phone and explained to me that they were having trouble determining the source of the noise and that he wanted to keep it overnight to figure it out.
The next day when we talked he explained to me that the noise was being caused by the wheel bearings on the right front side and also that the left front side bearings were lose, and recommended that they be replaced at a cost of about 830$ for parts and labor, after we discussed options and a few things about the problem I told him to just fix one for ( for half of the approx. total price) now and will do the other one next time I get paid.
I spoke with Kevin again the next day (Wednesday) and he explained to me that while replacing the wheel bearing, the axle had broken due to rust, I was a bit surprised, but he said he had ordered a new one for me and would replace and install it free of charge.
Then today when he called me to tell me the car was ready to go he explained to me that while doing the other repairs, they noted the engine problems I mentioned at the beginning of this story, which he had first thought was due to a problem I would have to see a dealer about, but discovered it was due to the fact that the ignition wires were worn, and apparently arcing, so he also replaced those free of charge, to make certain the car was running as smoothly as possible when he returned it to me.
I will definitely be returning to Bari's Automotive for future car repairs.
This man/owner charged me 600.00 to do a tune up on my car. He ripped me off by doing none of the work. He changed 2 filters and thought because I’m a woman I wouldn’t know. He wanted to charge me 1450.00 to do a valve gasket cover. All the other quotes I got were between 200-300.00. He deceitful lazy and a chauvinist. Don’t go there he’s not honest.
Bari's Automotive have always treated us great! Kevin is very knowledgable and experienced. The whole crew are careful with our trucks and get us up and running in a very timely manner.
I take my vehicle here for regular maintance and am always shocked by how friendly the staff is. I feel like they go above and beyond with their inspections and take the time to really explain why they are suggesting things be replaced or repaired. I have never felt pressured to accept their suggestions and have never left dissatisfied. Thank you Bari’s!

These guys are the best so quit lookin around for a new mechanic because if youre reading this you just found the best automotive shop in Sacramento.
Very friendly, educational and informative. Took my 2001 Tundra in for breaks and I needed a lot more than that. After seeing the photos for myself I told them to take care of it asap. Picked her up the next day before dinner! They even gave me a free fan clutch and a discount since I was a first time customer. Thanks Kevin! I'll be back for sure.

i needed work done to my transmission , but when i was ready to bring the car in, the price jumped to three times the amount that was quoted over the phone. and was more expensive than Amco by hundreds, beware of this place.
