I called AAA to have my car towed after an accident, they showed up and told me it would have to be towed to a lot because it was leaking fluids. I didn't have a choice to bring it to my house even after asking them. I waited over the weekend to talk to my AAA agent, all the while my car sat in a tow lot accumulating fees. I called this company after realizing that I didn't have full coverage on my vehicle, and not only did I have to pay the daily storage fees for the tow lot (which was expected but I was not happy about), Wind and Sea Towing lied to me and told me I had to also pay for the tow to and from their lot. I was charged over $1000 and scammed by these guys. Do NOT use their services.
Absolutely terrible company. The service and in the field and in the office is horrible. The technician damaged my vehicle installing my battery inside as well as outside I was also charged full price for a battery that was still under warranty. When contacting the company I was out on hold several times while attempting to resolve the issue . The supervisor was never available and I was told that i would receive a return call and I never received one As a small business owner I would never recommend this business AAA should remove this company from their call list . They have terrible reviews
WARNING: Damaged my vehicle or video and avoided any contact after the incident I am writing this review because Wind and Sea completely ignored my attempts to resolve a damage claim having to escalate the matter to have AAA mediate on my behalf During a tow on 11/29/25, the driver improperly positioned the winch chain, causing it to crush and distort the front lower bumper valence of my Chevrolet Avalanche as it was being pulled onto the flatbed, I have clear video footage of the incident occurring, showing the chain under tension directly damaging the vehicle's bodywork. I attempted to reach out multiple times to provide the video evidence and repair estimates, but the company was completely unresponsive. It is incredibly disappointing that a professional service would cause documented damage or even return a phone call after leverage attempts in contacting them. I would have prefered to settle this professionally, but their lack of response forced me to escalate this further through AAA since they subcontracted the service and they had to also tried several attempts to contact them. AAA eventually sent me a check for the damage after having to submit all the evidence along with the estimate I STRONGLY advise others to look elsewhere if vou value your vehicle's safety and want a company that stands behind their work.
Horrible experience would never use again, I have AAA and was in an accident and this tow company still charged me for the tow even though they said it was covered on arrival once the vehicle was being picked up (which I had to pay or I’d be charged for additional charges) employees were rude/disrespectful once vehicle was being picked up but were nice when towing (fraudulent charges and worst experience ever at a tow yard)
I had to call this company in the middle of the night/early morning because I had ran out of gas. I made the phone call around 4am and spoke to Daniel. Let me tell you this gentleman turned a very stressful situation into a walk in the park!! 100% 5 STAR service very positive slam dunk fuel delivery/battery service. I would recommend this company ANYDAY ANYTIME ANYWHERE ...ALLDAY FOR SURE MY FAVORITE COMPANY HANDS DOWN!!! P.S. Daniel is great :)
DO NOT USE this company. They were contracted out to me by AAA. Although they arrived quickly my Vehicle arrived damaged with a crack driver side window. They picked up my vehicle for a flat tire on the passenger side. When the driver dropped it off He purposely rolled the driver side window down before pulling it off the tow bed. Once I pulled it into my driveway and rolled the window up, I realized it was cracked. The driver was already gone. I reached out to the company several times and did not hear back from them. Eventually, I made a claim with AAA and they asked me not to reach out to the tow company anymore. Of course the tow company denied any fault. Neither the tow company nor AAA are taking Responsibility and have told me the only other option is to take it to small claims court. I’ve gone back-and-forth with AAA for months. Do not use this company as they can not be trusted with you vehicle.
Tow driver Chris was great, but company took literally all day to come out, and then said they normally charge 2 hrs for the job(it took 5 mins) , which would cost $680, but they would give me a break at $340. Grifters!!!! Chris, you’re too good for this!!!!
Cody was great. Showed up quicker than the eta was, was very safe with my truck, and retrieved and dropped off my vehicle in fairly complex parking situations.
Worst experience and scam artist Called AAA for a tow and they sent this truck to show up and try n force me to tow my car only to wind n sea own storage so they can rack up thousand in storage fees and expenses. Fraud and a scam !!! Then quoted me $684 to tow 10 miles to my house lol. What a joke It got so bad CHP told the tow driver to immediately leave the scene and not to return because what he’s doing is illegal
They make money towing to your house and they make thousands more ripping off your insurance company with excessive fees storage etc.
Time this company goes back to where they came from and stop scamming this community
Absolutely the worst tow company ever! AAA needs to drop this company. 2 hour arrival time. Absolutely terrible. Arrival time was 3pm, then 3:16, now 4pm.
This was my second experience with this company, and unfortunately both have been very negative.
I was in an accident and needed a tow immediately. I called at about 1:45 p.m. for a flatbed tow, but when they arrived at 2:24 p.m., the truck already had another vehicle on it. They tried to do a wheel-lift tow instead—something they did to me previously that caused major damage (brakes, bearings, etc.), which turned into a very costly repair.
I called back specifically requesting a flatbed tow, but they didn’t show up again until 4:40 p.m.—nearly three hours later. When the driver, Rudy G., finally arrived, he said he couldn’t tow the car to a house, only to their storage yard (which means extra $$$) or a body shop. My mechanic works out of his home shop, so this was completely unacceptable. It felt like a scam designed to force customers into spending more money.
I ended up having to call AAA and complain just to get my vehicle towed to my personal mechanic.
On top of all this, the driver was unprofessional and not courteous. Based on both of my experiences, I cannot recommend Wind and Sea Towing Company.
Excellent service and great professionality in term of schedule, experiences, knowledge, and attitude. Daniel is my technican or tow truck driver who helped me release the brake where the spring is near the foot pedal because my friend broke the hand brake release of my Mercedes C240, 2002. I am so grateful for Daniel's service in time of emergency. AAA is also helpful and fast to connect me with this towing company.
WInd & Sea is AAA contracted - I scheduled a Tow at 8:04 AM, the ETA at the time was 9:58 AM it was updated to 9:21 AM and then to 10:36 AM then I got a call from AAA that at 11:52 AM because the call had not been fulfilled they indicated that they were "monitoring" the service call and Wind & Sea would arrive within the next 45 minutes. It is now 3:27, I received a call from a different tow company stating AAA reassigned the call after wind & sea cancelled. No call from Wind & Sea and the availability of the new company would make it so that the car arrives at the receiving shop after hours with no one to receive it.
I suspect Wind & Sea would rather wait callers out into cancelling their service call so that AAA members cannot bash them on their survey.
If AAA assigned your call to Wind & Sea have them reassign it unless you enjoy spending your day waiting for a company that doesn't have the courtesy to CALL and give an accurate ETA.
I had a flat tire and AAA contacted Wind and Sea Towing in Perris. I was told wait time of 45 minutes. Daniel was here in 10 minutes. Apparently my husband did not have a spare. Daniel put air in the tire and showed me there was a bolt causing the air leak. Daniel drove behind me to the tire store to make sure I made it safely. Thank you! Your customer service goes above and beyond!
Unfortunately, I needed a tow this morning, and I was fortunate that G responded. AAA contacted Wind and Sea towing. Original time was 85 minutes but G called me 10 minutes after the request that he was 10 minutes away. He was extremely professional and informative throughout the process. He had the truck cooled and ready for me to sit in comfortably while he loaded my vehicle, and he ensured it was safely delivered to the shop. In fact, the shop even complimented G on his excellent service. If I ever need a tow again, I sincerely hope G is the one who comes to help!
I had a 5+ star experience with this towing company! G was my driver and he was amazing! I was terrified broken down on the side of the 60 freeway and when he showed up I immediately relaxed. I had my dog with me who was also terrified. G was SO sweet, compassionate, professional and helpful. AAA Roadside dispatched this company, Wind and Sea Towing, and I really lucked up getting G as my driver! I highly recommend this company, and ask for G to be your driver. He is amazing!
All I can say is thank you they came an saved the day rody the dispatch and Alan the driver. Alan was knowledgeable an saved us they were very reasonable in there price even worked with us will definitely call them for all my towing services when triple aa runs out
I'm sure that the drivers are great, when they do show up. The office / dispatch is real problem. They take calls from AAA and claim 30 min and then call me directly to tell me 30 min. Still never show up. AAA should terminate their contract.
My car alternator completely crapped out on me while I was off-roading near Joshua Tree. Luckily I was able to make it back to the town on just my battery’s juice. Anyways parked my car in a parking lot and drove the 127 miles back home to OC, as we had another car in our group that could take our whole crew back and it was already 2am at this point. Fast forward to the next day and I’m calling AAA for a tow thinking I’m screwed and I’ll have to drive all the way back out there.
Well I lucked out big time getting connected with Wind N Sea Towing. Not only did they accept my 127mile tow request at 8:00pm but they also told me that I could save myself the trip out there as long as there was a way to get them a key. Well luckily I keep a spare hidden outside the car for emergencies and boy that came in clutch. They were honest and true, towed my car all the way back to my house safely, nothing missing from inside. They’re a great crew and very friendly and understanding. If I ever need a tow again out there, and hopefully I never do, I know who I’m calling.
I was in a car accident yesterday. AAA sent wind and sea towing to pick up my car. They got there faster then AAA said the would. I did have to leave to go to urgent care to make sure my injuries were not major. My husband stayed with my car and said there service was great, and that the tow driver was genuinely concerned for my well being. They followed up with me that night to check if I was okay. I was shocked as no tow person has ever done that. I want to thank them again for there superb customer service and there concern for the well being of there customers. Definitely would recommend them if you live in area.
I had an excellent experience with Wind & Sea Towing! After my AAA roadside assistance request, they arrived in less than 30 minutes to tow my truck. Mario, the technician, was outstanding—he was professional, safe, and very attentive throughout the entire process. He made sure everything was handled with care, and the flatbed tow was smooth and efficient. I highly recommend Wind & Sea Towing to anyone in need of a tow. Their fast response and excellent service truly stand out!

Cody transported our car and took us to a local Pep Boys. His truck was spotless, and he even reminded us to be careful getting in and out. He was quick, courteous, friendly, and professional in every way—handling our car as if it were his own. After getting home around 3 AM, tired and ready to crash, I accidentally locked my keys in my car. I was stressed and didn’t know what to do, but I called AAA, and Wind and Sea Towing came to the rescue.
Angel showed up and was super kind, professional, especially considering the early hour. He got me back into my car quickly, and I was so relieved.
Honestly, he deserves a bonus or something for being willing to wake up and help someone out at that time of night. I’m beyond grateful for the amazing service—thank you! 10/10!
I called AAA and was told 1 hr for a flatbed and the driver arrived withn the hr and got me to the dealership prior to appointment. Zack the driver was very pleasant, knowledgeable and careful hooking up my vehicle. I would recommend based on my experience.
We had a flat tire but were able to get to a safe place. We called AAA and they connected us with Wind & Sea. They arrived within the time frame stated. Once the tech arrived he realized that the hole in the tire was too large to fill with air so we could drive to get it repaired. He then called for a tow truck. The tow arrived earlier than anticipated and quickly got the car up on the lift. He drove us to the tire shop and was courteous and friendly.
Time increased from an hour to two hours with AAA, going to attempt to cancel call after reading reviews Update: they accepted the call from AAA knew good and darn well that they couldn't take the call after waiting 2 hours they canceled. Please find another tow company you guys so you don't waste your time. I don't know what kind of games they like to play
The worst service ever seen in my entire life!! They scheduled my towing for one hour and forty five minutes but they did not arrive, then they added another forty five minutes and did not arrive, no communication at all so I called them directly because they were sent by AAA, this time they got me on hold for another thirty five minutes and they said the driver was on his way about 20 minutes arrival time. Again they never showed up, when I called again they told me it will be another hour!! When I complained about it they cancelled my call!! So they got me waiting for four hours and at the end they ignored my service call. I have never seen a business so unprofessional. Good advice, stay away from this company. I hope AAA takes note of this.
