Just don't turn in your bright n' shiny copper wire here. It's SUPPOSED to be roughly $3.10 - $3.80/$4.00 right now for over a month (I get that prices fluctuate, but shouldn't drop below $3), but to only pay out $2.60 a lb?? Absolute rip-off. Go somewhere else for copper wire. I went to another recycling center and got $3.40.
I'm going to tell you the straight truth of how it is. copper is worth $4 right now march 7th and I took 1.4 pounds of copper and I received 3 dollars and 33 cents.. . Don't say you didn't know.
Only writing this review for ferrous and non ferrous metal recycling. MENLO RECYCLING pays half the price from other shops. Only came here because my local scrap yard relocated. I highly recommend saving your items and taking else where if you want the best pay out. They should be making a killing ripping people off. Only good thing is they don't ask for ID.
Menlo is my local place for recycling. I haven't had any issues anytime that I have gone. Good pricing for what you take to recycle. One can find a coupon for extra better pricing on their website or on a local advertising booklet. The place is organized and one can easily see the flow of the operation. If you have any questions, Menlo has friendly experienced individuals to answer your questions. I highly recommend Menlo for your recycling materials.
This is my first time EVER writing a review, just had to write how poorly this place was, not only where they RUDE, they actually took the time to make sure ALL my water bottles where completely EMPTY, keep in mind I had three large baskets, when they where finely done, I asked the person that was at the desk if they take coupons that there actually from their place he said NO they have to be printed, okay but their YOURS from YOUR website, they only reason WHY I went here was because the place that I go to where closed, people if you want a honest and professional place to go and not to mention a VERY clean place I highly recommend RECYCLE WISE 200 SINCLAIR AVE Parris. they also honor their coupons that are on their website, show it to the person in the office, no question, no hassles no attitudes
Crazy fast. Probably one of the reasons why RecycleWise went under. It is kinda tight inside so mornings are best and could use a serious pressure washing.
I'm happy & relieved they accepted the bottles I was trying to recycle and was refused at another place. All the stress instantly left when I was given a much higher payout than I was expecting!
Pound for pound/ ounce for ounce the best recycling business. Honesty should be there trademark. Thank you for being a business that deserves 5 stars. See ya soon.
This is the only place I take my recycled items. They always pay the highest price and they take coupons - No problem. The guy at the counter and everyone there have always been very nice and helpful. It is indoors and that is nice. Great place.
I wish i could give 0 stars. Worst recycling experience ever! I got there 13 minutes before closing time and they were closing their doors. i asked if they could attend me and they looked at me and proceeded to close their doors they just ignored me. And Another time i also saw a rat/mouse crawl out of a bin. Disgusting place, Rude workers!!!
Used to be my favorite places but then they stopped honoring their own coupons. Twice they refused them now, they claim to have no control over their own website where the coupons are posted. Bad business practice.
I cleaned all the steel I had and cleaned up all the aluminum I separated all the metals nd had them in organized piles. When I went to recycle all the metal after I unloaded it. They said the aluminum engine block is only 5 cents per pound. And then I also had 841 pounds of steel they marked it as unclean. When I got my receipt they only gave me $36 bucks I was pissed off. Aluminum at the time is 60 cents a pound. They totally ripped me off. don't ever go here!!! This place is the worst!!
I called at 9:34 am Sat Jan 26th and I got an answering machine that didn't even say the NAME of the business. Only said "you reached this number" and a beep. I said " if you are going to have a business, you need a receptionst answering the phone. If you are not open on Saturday, you need to have a message that clearly says you are closed". I will not be going here.
Sadly, other places are not answering their phones.
Easy, indoor, out of the sun. Park, get your cans to sort, they weigh and you get paid. Pays pretty good. I pack like 8 big trash bags of recyclables and got $25!
