I've always felt that reviews were a last ditch resort to warn people to stay away from a business. If you have a problem with a company or service, I've always thought the appropriate thing to do would be to speak to the business first, voice your concerns, and see if they could do anything to make it right before leaving negative reviews. Well, I did that. I've been coming here for awhile now and the service has always been good. Never had to wait long, easy to get in and out, and I always felt like the prices were fair. Except the last time I visited. Brought in some brass to recycle except this time I was paid 95 cents a pound instead of $1.90, which is the going rate. It was roughly the same quantity I normally bring in, and it wasnt contaminated, just normal, yellow brass. I should have said something before I left but I thought, "Maybe the price has gone down drastically or something like that." When I got home, I decided to call and ask what the current price of brass is and the employee I was speaking to said the current price is $1.90. The same price I've gotten pretty much every time I have gone there except when it was a little lower ($1.70) a few months ago. I asked what would have caused me to get .95 instead of 1.90. She put me on with the manager who just made excuses. Said I already got paid, there was nothing they could do, blah blah blah. Sometimes you get less because of the quality (which is BS because that visit I also recycled contaminated brass too. Basically, "get lost." I mean, it was only about 16 dollars difference if I had gotten full price, but the lesson is that I guess you cant trust this place, so why would I patronize them for future business, and why should you? One of the worst things a business can do is make a customer feel taken advantage of. The second worst thing is to tell them to **** off instead of making it right. The worst thing I could do would be to go back to a place that treats people like that. Wont make that mistake again.

Every other time that I've been here- I have given this place +5 ☆'s.... However, I changed my rating right now to 2 ☆'s because of this last time that I went in there.... this 1 guy was just way beyond rude!! Literally.. I really Hope that I don't have to deal with him again.. Next time I go there- I'm really hoping that the same nice, helpful and friendly regular employees that I am used to always seeing & dealing with are working up there again.... bc if the rude guy from last time is there- I am 100% FOR SURE doing some research & finding a new/ better place for us to go next time!!!! (Honestly, i have been going here for a while now & I've referred a lot of other ppl to here- that are still active current customers here.... their employees have always been super friendly, very helpful, and have always been very professional, as well.... Up until this last time.. So like I said- I am going to give it anther shot & just cross my fingers and hope that this guy was just a 1 time thing that happened to be there for that time.. hopefully I just don't

they hide what they're weighing, they pay less comparing to other places, they will steal you, very rude cashier with a jail style cage you can't even see who are you talking to, they will ID you, blue printed you and almost will ask for your birth certificate in order to pay you, they steal the weigh of your stuff (I weight my recycle before going there) avoid this scaming place at all cost probably they cas steal your identity too, there's something fishy there.
