Brought in my 2015 Burgundy Acura TLX to have it repainted. The trunk lid had paint that was peeling and deep grooves that exposed the underlying primer. Previous owner did not take care of this car by waxing it annually and the dealer who painted over it did a Mickey Mouse job. Won’t ever buy a car from an independent dealer again. Crash Champions gave a quote that was higher than another Acura authorized body shop initially but was willing to match and beat it. Settled on painting the whole car except for the roof. Car looks like the day it rolled off the lot. There was a miscommunication about the car being ready when it was not, but Crash Champions resolved all the issues. Thank you to Adam Gomez for the quote and the great customer service. The work is warrantied for as long as I own the car so there should be no hesitation to choose Crash Champions if you need body work done. Let’s hope I don’t crash my car so that I won’t need Crash Champions to fix it again.

Crash Champions did an excellent job on my car. It honestly looks like nothing ever happened the work is flawless. They also made the entire process incredibly smooth by helping with my insurance. I loved that they allowed me to leave my car there for the rental company to pick up, which was so convenient. Their customer service was amazing from start to finish. Highly recommend!

This review is in regards to a current car (2019 Toyota Corolla) that I have at this location to be repaired due to an accident. I am beyond and throughly impressed with the level of communication by Shannon throughout the entire process. Shannon has been giving me status update calls, explaining all the different things that are being done to the car, always super professional and courteous, and willing to stay on the phone with me for as long as it takes to address any questions or concerns that I may have. The process from the moment that my car was taken to this body shop has been easy, seamless, and extremely efficient. Shannon is truly on top of it and it shows and this collision repair center will definitely be my go to from now on plus referrals. Communication - A+++++ Service level - A+++++ Customer service - A++++++ Responsiveness - A+++++++ Total quality - A+++++ I also want to give a shout out to Danny who is the Manager at this location, and he too has been nothing shy of extraordinary and really going to bat for me in regards to providing the upmost in customer service, total care, and everything else in between. I highly recommend this body shop if you are in the orange county area as they are on top of it as far as running a professional business and going out of their way for their customers.

On October 9, 2025, I brought my 4Runner to Crash Champions in Fountain Valley for repairs to the driver’s side fender, bumper, and driver’s side headlight. Shannon assisted me during the process and was very helpful. I informed Shannon that my headlights were aftermarket Alpha Rex headlights and that connecting wires inside the assembly is necessary to set them to the amber setting. It appears that Shannon did not communicate this information to the installer, so I had to send them the instructions via email on how to do it. On October 17th, I was informed that my car was ready for pickup. Due to work, I picked it up on October 20, 2025. Upon inspection, I noticed some sloppy work on the side fender flare. Shannon initially believed it was bondo, but it was actually double-sided tape. I had to wait for the repair shop to fix the work. The driver’s side headlight replaced with my aftermarket headlights. However, once I got home I realized that the new headlight had scratches on it from the shop replacing it. On October 24, 2025, I left from work at 8:00 AM and decided to test my high beams and regular lights. The daylight amber indicator was working, but not the led pods. I visited the dealership on the same day at 9:00 AM, when they opened. Shannon informed me that they were too busy to address my issue that day and suggested that I leave my vehicle that day so they can work on it next week. Due to the recurring issues I have had to deal with, I do not want this shop touching my car. I contacted their second location in Fountain Valley. However, I was informed that they were unable to perform the repair without obtaining authorization from the original location manager. I contacted the original location and requested to speak with a manager, but was informed that they were currently occupied. I did not receive a call until later in the afternoon, approximately 30 minutes prior to the establishment’s closing time. During the call, I informed Danny (the manager) of the circumstances, but he expressed dissatisfaction with my criticism of his employees work quality. I requested the corporate contact number, but he repeatedly advised me to search for it online on Google. Despite my repeated attempts, I was unable to locate the number. He then instructed me to search online and just hung up the phone. I attempted to contact Danny again and was able to obtain the corporate contact number. However, I have yet to initiate any communication with them. Danny left a voicemail on Monday morning of the following week to apologize for the unprofessional manner in which our conversation ended. Regrettably, I wish I had listened to the negative reviews. If you are considering them installing aftermarket headlights, I strongly advise against using this dealership. My headlights are expensive and they damaged my new replacement, which unfortunately does not function properly.

Crash Champions work was excellent and on time. My car was in for front end damage. The promise day was exact. The repair guy kept me updated. I sure recommend Crash Champions to everyone needed repairs.

I drop off my 2018 BMW X2 for repair at Crash champions in Fountain Valley California for repair, after waiting for 3 weeks with no clear answer when my vehicle will be completed, I stop by the shop and talk with Danny Sipe( new manager just took the manager position) He explained to me all the details and give me the exact day when my vehicle will be done, in addition He also offers to bring back my vehicle for buffer some scratches on my hood and fender, I brought my vehicle here before and very happy with the workmanship, Danny has gone beyond the customer service with honesty and professionalism, I recommend any one needs collisions repair to come to Crash champions at Fountain valley California and see Danny Sipe you will be happy with workmanship and the service he provided.

Rigo was Great! He was very helpful, he always kept me up to date on all the repairs, he would always tell me if I had any concerns he would make sure it was taken care of. I highly recommend this collision repair shop. Manny is one of the best service reps. He handled our case with great professionalism. He didn't over promise, said our car could take a week and they got it done in 5 days. Hopefully I never have to use a collision repair shop again, but if I do, I would come back to this location easily.

Do not take your car there. I trusted them after being in a car accident and I wish I hadn’t. They scratched the paint in my rear bumper in two different places, and they refused to fix their mistake. Note, the bumper wasn’t damaged in the car accident. They simply “touched it up” by painting over the damage without sanding or blending or anything. It looks terrible. They said if I wanted them to fix it right, I would have to pay for the entire bumper since it had some scratches already. Take your car anywhere else. This is just the tip of the iceberg of other issues I had with their quality of work.

Used this place because it was close to home and part of the insurance companies recommended. 1. Lack of communication 2. Work was subpar (returned 3x’s within a week of having the vehicle back) 3. I just picked up my car for hopefully the last time. And i just noticed this box cutter in the child seat. To be fair: (Sam) Took care of everything for me as well as went above with making accommodations that I did not need or asked for. Thank you Sam, for correcting everything.

I certainly want to compliment Crash Champions-Fountain Valley (Newhope Ave) for an experience on 7/6/23 that exceeded my expectations. Working with Alex and Adriana in the front office was a pleasure and the work done by the unseen craftsmen in the shop speaks for their seemingly magical skills. My Sienna van was t-boned badly which took out most of its right side including the wheels. After just under 2 weeks, Alex informed me that my van was ready for pickup and it looked just like new. When I reviewed the detailed ($7000) invoice, I couldn't believe all the work they did in just 2 weeks ... and it was perfect! There is definitely some magic going on in their shop. I will continue to keep Crash Champions-Fountain Valley Bodyworks as my "go to" body shop, which it has been for many years. In my opinion, their management, personnel, and craftsmanship are consistently the best!!

This shop has been the best shop I've done business with. 1st of all the customer service was great, I had the pleasure of working with Rigo from the very beginning. When I 1st dropped off the car I was greeted by Rigo, he talked with me about the process and told me the car would be taken care of. From the beginning to the day my car was ready for pick up it took about 8 days, not that much damage to begin with but still for a shop of this size and for all of the cars I could see they had waiting to be worked on it was a quick turn around time. They day I picked up my car it was covered my the shade of the building, i walked around and the car looked great. Upon arriving home I did another walk around and I did notice my car have some scratches on both passenger doors. I was a little upset but none the less I emailed the shop to let them know what happened to my car. The following morning Rigo reached out around 8am, we spoke and he had me bring the car in the the afternoon. When I arrived he took a look at my car and without hesitation or without questioning me he happily took my car told me to hang tight and they would take care of the car. 1st of all not many businesses would take the blame for something like this. Usually they find an excuse or blame you for things like this. So for them to fix the car and make things right speaks very highly about them, to me they are a business that will go above and beyond for their customers in hopes of making them come back. Overall my car and the repairs they made you cant even tell my car was ever involved in an accident, very very good work and awesome customer service.

I was involved in a rear end collision on ealier this month with my 2005 subaru forester. I have had gone to a few other bodyshops that said I would be reciving an out of pocket estimate price, but none have responded to me. Choosing this crash champions location was a no brainer. Initially i was greeted by the front desk receptionist with warm regards. In my case, they are a USAA and GIECO certified shop. I was happy to see familiar faces from their time as FOUNTAINVALLEY BODYWORKS Alex Mingo wrote up my preliminary estimate prior to a complete tear down. I went though the other parties insurance that was involved in the accident since I wasn't at fault. When i finally decided to bring my car in, Danny Sipe would be my new estimator. Working with both Alex and Danny was a breeze, the communication within the shop is worth noting. I did note that i have parts on my car that are no longer in production and sourcing aftermarket or oem would prove rather difficult and would prefer to repair my bumper if possible. I was surprised to hear that their bodyshop technicians do in house repairs. Packard was assigned to my vehicle and personally greeted me with a handsome smile and was flaunting a luscious beard that would make Zeus jealous! I was astounded to find out that he was the one personally that repaired my bumper, the quality of his work is absolutely top tier! Quality paired with a warranty that stands behind their work is hard to find. The name fountain valley bodyworks may have changed, but the good people at the location has not one bit! I will be returning to crash champions for any future accidents that may occur in the future. I would recommend anyone that needs any work done to their vehicle from minor to major. A well deserved 5/5 Stars.

I had used FV Bodyworks for about 15 years and stopped 2 years ago when some work they did on my daughters car and left overspray on the hood. The technician insisted he didn’t do anything wrong and that the overspray was done from previous work (which was FVB as well). The manager graciously tried to do some damage control and had the tech buff the paint. Last year we got it all fixed somewhere else as the paint just got worse. The photos are from my other daughter’s car which she had done about 5 years ago. They were supposed to put a new bumper. Maybe they did but they obviously did NOT use factory paint. So sad to see such a great body shop go so bad!
