I'm on a roadtrip down the coast and hit my high milage, walked in and they were the most kind people. They squeezed me in made me a coffee and I walked down to the coast and got back in 30 minutes it was ready to go. Definitely recommend!!
If you need a tow, these are the people to call. Peter and his team are awesome! We got stranded with our 1 year old on a crazy mountain road that a rig our size should have never been in in the middle of nowhere when the breaks on our 30 foot RV gave out. They certainly came to the rescue at 10 o'clock at night and even brought a second truck to take us down the mountain. Other tow company's would tow the RV but not take us with them in the truck due to Covid. But Peter went above and beyond with his professionalism and expertise. It's not easy towing a huge RV down a mountain road with lots of twists n turns in pitch black night but he did it with ease. We are more than grateful for them. They are genuinely good people that truly want to help people and not take advantage like some other companies. Would highly recommend them! Thank you so much!
Peter is an honest mechanic and a Godly man. Wouldn't have anyone else work on our cars. From oil changes to engine rebuilds Smith's is our go to place.
Driving home from Canada, we experienced car problems in Fort Bragg, California.
Smith Automotive (Peter, owner) responded immediately, towed us to his shop and replaced the fuel pump. This is on a 60 year old Triumph roadster. BTW, his shop is behind a NAPA auto parts store.
He had other work, but took the time to work on our car.
Would recommend you try his shop if you need professional service.

Came to ME! on a SUNDAY, I went back to him on Monday. Fixed me up sent me on my way and didn't charge me. Peter is a gentleman and a very knowledgeable person.
I was 200+ miles from home and my car died on a camping trip. He was the only shop open on a Saturday, and I took a chance.
The tow truck driver's jump seemed to have been stronger than my friends car, and was able to recharge my battery! They checked my battery to make sure it was strong enough to make it back to Sacramento, and then made sure any service check lights that came up were from the battery dying so hard and not my actual car.
He charged me absolutely nothing for all the time he took out to look at my car. He could have charged me a battery, but it was fine. He could have charged me an hours labor for all the testing he did, and he didn't. He is an absolute wonder of Fort Bragg and I can't recommend him enough!!!
Was coming through Cali from Pennsylvania in an 85 23ft rv stopped at Smith automotive because I had some coolant leaking Into my passenger side floor and I'm glad I did because it was the best service and such a great experience not because I was having the problem but because it was in the hands of someone that actually gives a f**k, knows what to do, prices extremely reasonable, and overall a genuine person I highly recommend coming here if you need help on your vehicle.
