Quick response by Terry to diagnose and tow our car for a 24 hour repair! We arrived in FB from Ukiah when our car began overheating. Terry to the rescue! Fortunately we were staying at the Beachcomber and all was well!

Had to get my breaks fixed ASAP, Greg and his team really pulled through! Fast, friendly and efficient service!

Greg and his team are the BEST! We had brake trouble going on hwy 20 Willits to Fort Bragg! Had to pull over … maybe a tow? I had to drive my tow car for cell service closer to Fort Bragg…Greg answered the phone and he said “let it rest…it is your brakes!” We did that… came to town called Greg back and asked if he could check our brakes! He said “we are really busy but we will fit you in!” He took off the front wheels had the moterhome a couple of hours and gave us peace of mind! Then he called the next day to see how the moterhome was doing!!! We are out of towners and he treated us like we were his regular customers! Wish we were! Thank you Greg and your great team!

Greg (and whoever hired him) are incompetent and rude. Greg hung up on me during a period of need and then failed to answer the phone on my return calls. I will be visiting the tow yard in person to complain tomorrow; use someone else.

I just have to say that Greg is amazing. We called in a panic. He fixed the problem over the phone and drove by to check on the issue. 10/10 would highly recommend

We were on vacation in Forth Bragg when the engine under-cover fell off. I tied it up as best as I could and drove in and asked for help. We received immediate assistance, and in a short time the issue was dealt with and we were again on our way. The staff was pleasant, friendly, and professional. I would recommend them.

Best experience I’ve ever had with a mechanic. I went in thinking I had a big issue with my coils. Turned out it was a much smaller job. They were very thorough in explaining what was going on. They also fixed my car within 2 hours and no appointment. Greg was amazing. He even texted me 2 days after my service to make sure everything was going well. I can’t say enough praise for them.

First two impressions very good. Helped me with a jumpstart in Ft. Bragg after I cancelled GEICO roadside service that would have turned into a 90 minute wait for tow company from Ukiah. That turned out to be a failing starter, just like driver speculated. Did some wiring work on a second vehicle after mouse/mice wreaked havoc on cabin wiring. Great communication from tech.

It's such a pleasure when you move to a new town and find a friendly and professional auto shop you can rely on. I went in to ask about replacing the starter battery in my self-converted camper van. The engine battery is connected to a system that provides household power in the back of the van. The gent who runs the place listened attentively when I described the additional battery connection. I can't tell you how much I appreciated that. As a 70 years young woman it isn't always the case that you feel heard. The information was conveyed to the fellow who did the work, and my electrical system fired up perfectly when he was done. I also appreciate any business that makes and keeps appointments and does a stellar job setting expectations. They had me in and out the door in half the time estimated. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I heartily recommend them.

We were headed in from Montana, and on Highway 1 our breaks were making a terrible noise. My husband woke up early and Greg was able to fit us in that day, so we could continue our trip. They were fast, friendly and reasonable. We cannot thank them enough for keeping our family safe and making our trip enjoyable.

I didn’t get the gentleman’s name but I’m sure he was the owner. I’m on a motorcycle ride from Houston Tx and found myself in Ft Bragg, CA with a low front tire. I stopped in and ask if he could let me use the air hose to air up my tire. He was very kind and understanding of the situation. Got the hose and the air chuck I needed and made sure I was taken care of immediately. He wouldn’t take a dime from me, he was genuinely glad he could help and so was I. My son had an emergency medicl issue, Leaving car on side of road. After the tow, and storage he would have lost his 4th car. Greg, Sarah, Dean...thankyou...after my son called ft bragg, towing they were so compassionate, & immediately worked with my son & i to get my sons car back, at a reduced rate.instead of making extra profit. Cheers. Now I need to solve the 6hrs to ft bragg. They are just being paitient : ) there are nice people, still !!!

They're the best. They know what they're doing, get the job done, and are no nonsense when it comes to your repair and billing. Plus, they're super responsive with professional customer service. Added perk, they work on European cars which is hard to come by on the Mendocino coast! Best auto repair in Fort Bragg and a great family owned small business. Thank you guys!

I was driving out of a parking lot after going through a drive through when i noticed there was an island separating the entrance and exit. I backed up and went to drive out on the exit side but didn't know there was another detached section. Anyway I started to drive and out and hit the other piece pretty hard. I was afraid to leave town down around those winding roads. I called and explained and he told me to come on in. He checked under the car aired up my tires as a courtesy. Everyone there was so friendly which made my experience even better. I'm ever in Fort Bragg and need work done on my vehicle I wouldn't take it any place else but there.

Absolutely amazing!! I broke down up highway 20 and they were able to take my BMW no questions asked, right away. Very friendly staff and quick service.

One word: crooks. I have dealt with them twice, and they have ripped me off both times. The first time was during a holiday, and my insurance had them tow me. They suggested that we have it towed to their shop, so they could give me an estimate. They gave me an estimate of over $400 for what it cost me to have it fixed somewhere else. It had nothing to do with labor cost, they were going to fix things that did not need to be fixed. I had to beg my insurance company to have it towed somewhere else. I was still charged $52 for them to just look at it. The second time they towed it, they charged $280 to tow it, and $125 per night for storage. We had to present a current license to drive it off, which I had to get someone else to do for me. Do they check everyone's id that has work done there? probably not. They just wanted to charge us more for storage. Total Crooks. DO NOT USE THEM. I have already called my insurance company to have them removed from the towing list. Update: Since this review, Fort Bragg Towing has lost their contract with the city of Fort Bragg. It seems that people are paying attention to the unethical daily actions of this business and it's owner.

Faced a dead battery issue with a rental with a young family on our road trip. Greg was able to come rescue us within minutes, and get us going in no time. He also threw in free car battery check. Greg is a real credit to Fort Bragg Towing. Thank you team.

While on a cross country trip from Maine, our check engine light came on unexpectedly (as they always do) causing disconcerting blips to our power steering and brakes while traveling on Routes 101 and 20 on a Saturday afternoon. We drove carefully on to Fort Bragg, our destination, and called FBT&AR Monday morning and they fit us in the same day. Sean was on time, found the problem quickly, and rather than just sending us off to Mazda in Santa Rosa for a specific part (battery mount), he found a piece in the shop that worked perfectly, made sure the electrical system was sound, answered our questions, and made sure his assessment and 'fix' was explained on the invoice in case we had further problems after we left the area. We certainly would recommend this business!

I much appreciate the consideration, flexibility and perseverance of the shop's team in dealing with a difficult repair to my air conditioning system. I will spare all the deails, but suffice to say, they made it right in the end, and we all were glad when the repair was truly finished. Way "cool" & thanks to FB Towing! 😊👍🏻

So thankful for Gregg an the good guys here at fb towing! I am new in town and had some challenges with my car and they all have been super helpful, gracious and a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend this business. Great customer service, friendly helpful staff, clean and safe towing truck.

I cannot recommend this place enough! Freddie was absolutely amazing! To start this horrid story, I was leaving from an extended camping trip when, as I was leaving, my car died. Not only that, but my car was in a very difficult position on a small one-lane gravel road. Freddie came in with a sense of knowledge I really needed and appreciated, as well as a friendly and upbeat attitude that helped my mood immensely! While my car was dirty and full of campfire smoke, he was still able to see that this car was my baby and he took amazing care of it. Even as we were coming off the dirt road, he kept making micro adjustments to the height of my car to make sure it didn't get a scratch. Not knowing what was wrong with it, he even offered to give me a ride to the hotel up the road if the repair was going to be a major one. Thankfully, it just needed a more powerful-than-average jump and it was fine. But while I was staring down the barrel of a possible alternator replacement, he really calmed my nerves and was just the best. I'm so lucky my insurance went through these guys! And if it happens again, I would pay out of pocket for the peace of mind!

Definitely recommend!! Our transmission gave up in the woods on a long steep dirt road. AAA told me they couldn’t help me. Ft Bragg Towing came out and rescued us. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and professional. The truck was spotlessly clean.

Blew a Transmission north of Fort bragg . Greg and Dean got both the truck and trailer home without any problems and made it to where we could relax and enjoy our vacation .....they worked around our vacation schedule . It was awesome and would use them again.

My car suffered a catastrophic engine failure in the area. Not only did they pick it up for me and diagnosed the problem, but they were extremely honest with the cost estimates etc. They recommended I tow it home, since the cost of repairs locally was prohibitive. They charged me a very reasonable rate for their services and provided a ton of info on how they would go about solving the problem.
