I arrived and got what I needed and went to the paying area and stood there for a moron for 5 minutes and a "supervisor " wanted to help someone else in the asking question line and I told him I'm next I wanna pay and he's like line is on this side and I told him no I'm trying to pay I don't wanna ask for a part. They need a self check out and I've been coming to this auto zone since they first opened.
Went there to check my car battery due to failing to start. I was helped by Salvador and Alex to install and figure out why the battery was not getting a connection to my vehicle. Salvador was supper polite and helpful and was assisted by Alex, who was also very nice, to figure out the issue. Both Salvador and Alex deserve to be commended for their customer service and professionalism while assisting me.

Every time we come hear. We get a young employees. They don't know anything about parts. We have to describe to them what it is and they don't even know how to spell. We even tell them how it's spelled. They type so slow. Back in the day. Everyone that used to work hear knew a lot about cars and they were quick to help. But with this new generation they lack knowledge with anything that has to do with cars.
If you are Caucasian and are planning to go to the store on country club in Madera Ca. don't. The manager Gabino might ignore you if there are any Hispanics in the store even if they enter after you. He has been reported to corporate. Other Auto Zone stores have been great, and other employees at this store have been ok.
My Car battery had die on me 439 W Clark St, Madera, CA 93638 on location of the Fast Track car wash, on October 24th, thank God there was Autozone across the st. I went over there to see if they had jump cables.i explain my situation to this Gentleman Fila and he Came to the rescue, he right away help me giving me a jump start with the Emergency jump Starter battery. He also provide me the battery diagnostic at no cost and He was very knowledgeable And very professional explaining me the solution of the bad battery. He also help me purchased the right one for my vehicle, and also installed the battery where my vehicle was located and he retested the battery,starter,alternator after the installation, he give me a print out of everything was good, that was an outstanding customer service!!! He Save me an arm and a leg for not getting my car towed to Chowchilla, Ever since that day Im been loyal customer to this location. If you need professional help and need knowledgeable, Go to him, He's Knows his Stuff. 10/10!!!
Don't buy any parts that are worth like $3000 here.Because they don't have the money to give it back to you.They have to put on their door no cards, and you have to wait in a parking lot forever.Cash only it says on the door so you can get paid.I had to stay from From like 8 in the morning till.
6 in the afternoon, which was absolutely ridiculous. Bought a transfer case and it was the wrong part and I brought it back and I had to wait for them to give me my money back all day long because they don't have it. So they had to not take people's cards and put cash on the on the door which is absolutely ridiculous. Please don't go here if you have expensive parts.It's ridiculous there's an O'reilly's across the street.I didn't buy a part there expensives.OI wouldn't know them, but this place don't do it there.Much love safe travels.Do not drink the water in this town.Watch the movie erin brockovitch And you'll know what i'm talking about
Salvador was Very Helpful and so were the other workers. However Salvador went the extra mile by changing my headlights. So Please take care of this man at all costs wouldn’t even accept a tip. I’m guessing maybe that’s auto zones policy but could you all change this so that we can show the workers as customers our appreciation. Give this man a raise he’s a Great and Wonderful asset to your team. Kindness and a love for the job is rare to come by it’s great to show appreciation when it’s shown. Every time I go in I get good service. The guys come out and help me fast and sometime I give them some advice that they like you know like the air freshener you know I is one that I just love so going over to AutoZone and get you some good service
Very helpful. Purchased a Duralast Gold battery a couple years ago from AutoZone in San Diego and needed it replaced under warranty. Item in stock and original purchase was in their system. They let me borrow a tool to remove and install the replacement battery. Thank you!
Went in to buy a code reader tool they didn't have one so I bought some wiper blades instead ask the guy at the counter if he could scan my car cuz it had a check engine light Said yeah he took the scanner out there scanner had a busted cord on it couldn't scan my car couldn't sell me a scanner that's why it's one star.
I needed my car battery replaced and Max was my associate. He did an amazing job, it was pretty difficult to get the old battery out but he stuck to it and got it replaced in less than an hour. Thanks Max, you're a life saver!
They were very helpful and accommodating but seemed to be understaffed because I had to wait in line for almost 10 minutes and I was in a hurry. Otherwise I most certainly would have given 5 stars.
I want to share my experience at autozone, you guys, they were all super nice, and even though they were busy, they still helped me a great deal..
They sent a worker outside to install my car battery. I didn't even know they did that!! I was so worried about my drive to work the next day, but that was a good surprise, I thought I was going to have to wait until my dad had time, but they out did themselves by getting me back on the road in no time, it didn't even take him that long, I'm so appreciative, you guys, you don't even know!!! I give them 5 stars!!! The one on country club drive!! You will also be a happy customer!!!
If you're a girl going in here they ignore you if they haven't had their break. We literally stood in line while there were 7 people behind the counter and a guy was on his phone laughing instead if helping customers. Then when we mentioned being put off when all we had to get was what was in our hands he complained he hadn't had a break all day. Like it's our fault or something? Way to take it out on the customer!
This is where i get my car parts. Went today and was greeted and helped by an employee named Jose Garcia. I'm really grateful for people like him. He helped me find what i needed and showed me how to install it.
My visit to Autozone was a good one, no surprise though! I was helped by a young man, I believe his name was Alex (I forget) I went in to assist a friend with a battery that he believed he purchased at the Chowchilla store but we were not able to find it in the system, to make a short story long, I left the battery there to get charged (at no cost) and Alex even helped me with my car FOB battery, I'm an "old jedi" and these old eyes ain't what they used to was.... he not only found me the correct battery but he even replaced the old with the new. This guy was very pleasant and helpful.... kudos to AutoZone for hiring this guy.

A well-stocked neighborhood auto parts store is a good thing to have nearby. My recent visit was for a replacement battery in my 2018 F-150 keyfob. I had heard you could replace them, but was unfamiliar with the process.
The counter staff showed me how to pry open the fob, remove the old battery, and install the new battery.
A couple of minutes and a couple of bucks, so I was a happy customer, again.
AutoZone is a great shop for most of your auto repair, routine maintenance, and vehicle fluid needs. Great counter staff, too!
I was denied service today by a short lil man syndrome employee!!!! He told me to put on a mask or leave. He broke the law!! California Civil code 51.7 (a) YOU CANNOT DENY PEOPLE WITH MEDICAL CONDITIONS SERVICE!!!!! ITS DISCRIMINATION!!!
The worst customer service experience . There were 4 employees helping 2 customers while my spouse stood waiting 20 minutes before losing his patience and taking our business to O'Reilly Auto Parts. Where they were happy to help with our auto parts need.
You just lost a customer, I was just in there ready to check out waiting to be checked out next. There was a kid that kept putting items at the register next to the one I was waiting at. He must of gone back into the store severalbtime. Which,means he,was still shopping. When she was done checking out the man in front of me, without saying a word she,help this kid. This was as rude as he'll. I left my one item in the middle of store never to return
