Avoid this place at ALL COSTS they cause multiple issues to CHARGE MORE, my car was tampered with and another repair shop pointed the multiple issues they created for more money to charge. Issues that wasn't there prior to going in BEWARE and. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! I spent over $1000 that should have been less than half of that!! BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE
My A/C was repaired fast and at a great price. They communicated the issue to me clearly and had the repairs done the same day. I definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for honest, fast, reliable repairs.

I been going here for awhile now did two jobs here. My dad recommended this place to me says Lalo does a good job. I been very pleased with the work and he is fair with prices. I definitely recommend this place.
Im so impressed this is by far the best place to go I called this morning spoke with Lalo and told him over the phone the issues I was having with my car and he said bring it in I will take a look and check I did just that took it in that same day he check my car and gave my a very reasonable price and said I could have it ready with in an hour and sure enough it was ready I would highly recommend this place even if you don’t live in madera it’s worth the drive thank you Lalo for your great service
Do not recommend for your ac car services. I Went here because it was the only place open and I was in a pinch to get on the road asap. I went in because my car wasn’t blowing cold air.
My experience: they put Freon in my car without confirming with me and said it would be $130, but that it is actually the compressor that needs to be replaced which would cost $1300. If I wanted to take my car I needed to pay $130 for the Freon that was put in. When I asked why it was put in without asking me he said it needed to be done to properly diagnose it and that if I wanted it out, he can take out the Freon he put in for $60.
I left with just the Freon hoping that would be a fix. It wasn’t but I didn’t trust his diagnosis and how he went about servicing and pricing. I found a different place in town. It turns out it was the condenser and that lalo’s people actually put too much Freon in the vehicle which is not good.
Ok for anyone looking for a reliable honest straight up mechanic in this town go no further than this place, he is amazing and honest and very well priced I highly highly recommend!!
Found this shop a few years back. By far the best mechanic in town. They don't just hook it up to a computer and tell you they can't duplicate the issue. They go the extra mile and actually figure it out the old school way like a true mechanic. Great customer service, awesome prices and even better work! I would definitely recommend this shop.
Lalo is the best Mechanic in the 100 miles area! He saved my $900 ! The story is i have 2014 chevy cruze LTZ , car needs a water pump so i went to Good guys auto shop on shaw in fresno, Ca ! He said i can fix this for about $1150 , it was like heart attack for me the goggle and searching the mechanic and i found in Madera which is Lalo auto shop ! I talked him over a phone and he said i can do it for $380 (big difference) but he gave me discount $30 also he told me many things about my previous mechanic job done by good guys In fresno on shaw ..! Again he save my $220 …. A big thank Youuuuuuuuu to Lalo ! He is saver ! If you have big money to spend without warranty you can go anywhere but if you want save some money and satisfaction go to the Lalo shop In Madera , Ca …! A big thanks to Lalo ! You are the Guy ! Had check engine light come on car was dying at idle when at operating temperature.Had a short in the cam angle sensor it’s magnetic just wore out .Dropped it off in the morning was fixed in the early afternoon.Fast and good price with all the cars they were working on I figured might be a day or so to get it fixed .But these guys are on it and fixed it fast back on the road .
I went in and had the AC compressor control valve replaced on my 2014
Nissan Altima.. I purchased the valve and they installed it.. Fast service..I would highly recommend them.. Great job AC running great.. Ready for the rest of the summer... Gracias muchachos..
Great experience my go to mechanic for my cars maintenance for a couple of years now Lalo is very professional and attentive to any vehicle questions and concerns
In the 8 years I've been taking my vehicles to Lalo only one Time I was left unsatisfied. Remember people we're human mistakes happen, Lalo is a straight up guy and I recommend everyone to give him a shot. Most negative feedback seems to come from his competitors or people who are cheapskates!

Got my ac compressor replaced here for an Acura, took me in fast and efficient work. Would recommend everyone from the Central Valley to get your maintenance done here. Will be back for my other cars thank you.
Called was quoted a price but once I got there he changed the price on me he knows how to fix cars but it's just the fact that if you're giving a price to get something fix it needs to stay the same when you arrive at the shop.
