Amazing towing team! This company went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me and my disabled husband through a broken down RV situation. The owner himself helped us fight with AAA to get the tow paid for so we didn't have to pay 1k out of pocket. He was so kind and helpful. It restores my faith that there are still good hard working honest tow truck driver companies out there. Ignore any negative reviews and do yourself a favor and hire these guys for your tow. THEY'RE THE BEST IN THE AREA.
When I called in the request to my insrance company, I insisted that a different company from my previous assistance provide service. Thankfully, dispatch honored my request. Rocky from S & L Towing was GREAT! He personally called me and let me know he was 30 minutes away, then again at five minutes away. He was very professional and knew exactly what he was doing. He said, "I know what to do," and he did it. He jumped it and told me to take it to the mechanic right away. He was very personable. It's apparent that he likes helping people and doing his job. I'd rate him 10 out of 5 stars. He was that good. I was very pleased with his service and him. I only hope I get him next time. Thank you, Rocky!
Absolutely the best service we’ve ever had with a tow company! Our driver Jesus was definitely sent from the man above! Thank Jesus for being the kindest person we’ve ever met in the tow business.
My wife’s car broke down on the freeway and we use Allstate for car insurance so they were able to get s and l to come out to tow the car and they showed up super quick within 15 minutes of pushing the roadside assistance button, I don’t know the guys name but he had a cowboy hat on, he was very friendly and very professional, also when he dropped the car at the house he offered to diagnose the problem and he said it was the alternator and he was correct!! I will definitely be using them in the future and also if the owner is reading this give the guy in the cowboy hat a raise!!! Just found out that the cowboy hat guy his name is Ross!! Thanks Ross!! And give Ross a raise!!!
Unfortunately, I was not able to receive service from them because they requested us to sign a liability waiver in case any damages were done in process of towing my car. Price on top of it was not very affordable. I ended up finding someone else affordable and no waiver needed to get job done.
Vehicle broke down at South campus. The gentleman ROSS managed to assist FLAWLESSLY. Was able to get my car out of a tight spot between other vehicles. He arrived fast, he executed his duties perfectly and with a smile on his face willing to help. Respectful, kind and hardworking. I would recommend S&L towing but most of all would recommend asking for Ross and I hope to not need towing again lol but if I did need their towing; I sure will be using their services again!

Horrible service from the lady at the front desk to the tow truck driver. My dad got an a car accident in Madera he left his wallet in the truck when we went to get his belonging out they were not letting us get into the truck. When we finally were able to get into the truck. All the windows were rolled down. My dads wallet with $1,000.00 cash was missing and his keys. We questioned the driver and he knew nothing. We went to the scene of the accident that was literally in the middle of nowhere and did not find anything. About a month later we get a call from a lady saying she found the wallet in a park with no keys and no money. Very strange. The accident was nowhere near that park
Not professional at all! DO NOT LET THEM TOW YOUR CAR! I was there trying to get my personal property from my vehicle due to car accident and my vehicle is totaled now and their female employee said I needed to have my registration with me in order to get my things out of my car! Common sense lady Registration belongs inside the car! Got into a car accident and at that moment I did not think of getting my registration out of my wrecked vehicle! This lady wanted me to go to DMV and line up for a new Registration when all she had to do is allow me in my vehicle so I can get it out. Ridiculous! Don’t use these people!
I was rt down the road at Wal-mart, they could have probably looked out the Windows and saw me, from where they are located and they wanted to Charge me $55.⁰⁰ just to jump start my vehicle. (R.I.P. RAY)
I spoke with a costumer service representative and they informed me it will be 3 hrs and 1/2. I was fine with it. 3 1/2 hrs passed called a lady and she responded so rudely saying I knew how long it was going to be so I should be okay I told. Its already 4hrs when will he get here. Then 5 hrs passed still wondering where he is at. They told me chp needed a tow truck that's the reason for my delay. There is no other tow truck on site. I have really no choice to wait. I'm very upset at this company I will make sure to call my insurance to let them know what I had to go through that night. It has been over 6hrs waiting. Oh BTW they could have service awhile ago if the work clocked in correctly. Found that out by one of the representative. Horrible service.
THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH! I was traveling on my way to WA and had pulled over on the side of the freeway and my car was running with the A.C. on full blast, auto locks LOCKED MY 2 DOGS and CAT in the car and when we called originally the wait time was an hour. We got a call back saying since there was animals inside the vehicle that the order was prioritized, free of charge AND we would wait more like a half an hour, I wish I got the names of the guys that helped me that day in 100° weather, LIFE SAVERS!
