One star is most i will give now been going for years...now their policy has changed...they won't accept anything under twenty dollars in value.....b.s. to your reply my being turned away had happened more than once.. different employe also its why id rather go to recycle to place up on arrow highway...never again would I go to p t metals
Haven't been here in over a decade. Still the same great customer service. A little less parking than I remember but i was in and out very quickly. Fair and honest Prices on shiny, bright copper and insulated copper wire. Also I lucked out because the tamale girl was there. Great tamales😁
Service was on point and price was better than Lima in La Puente for recycling yellow brass $2.15/lb vs $1.50 lb at Lima. Complimentary drink and clean bathroom!
A truck load of scrap metal they managed to disappear in front of me they very professionals I call 911 and they told me to open a civil case lawsuit when my truck load was probably 40 or 30 dllrs to open a case to needs to be 35thousend. plus when I got here they told me we don't take washers and fridges do you still want to leave them i said yes and make me wait at scale so I noticed that the worker checking a 718 metal grab a peace and hit it on the back of a trash can when the owner was not watching.

Unsafe environment for public you can see in photo the containers are overloaded anything can drop and hurt someone or damage vehicles and trucks park next to.
Great place I highly recommend this place for your metal recycling. I went for my first time and although there is a little language barrier being I don’t speak fluent Spanish the process was smooth and straightforward. I’m returning today to recycle more. Again I highly recommend this place. Good business and good service
When we got there to recycle metal poles, the gate was already closed. They stated that they closed at 12:30, but the website says 1:00pm. I called and a lady answered the phone. I asked for a supervisors number and she stated she was the manager. I still asked for her supervisors number and she asked why. I told her it was to complain about the time discrepancies from website and actual store hours. She laughed and continued to state that she was the manager then she just hung up the phone. When we had called yesterday, Friday, the man who answered told us they closed at 4:45 which matches the time from the website. Maybe the “manager” just wanted to call it a day early today.
Been going here for years. Seen many changes but overall the workers are helpful and I'm usually in and out farely quick. As far as the rates go, hey its better then throwing it away so no complaints. I'll continue using this place as the years go on.

the lady behind the glass needs some better customer service skills.
When I pulled up I saw that there was a guy at the cashier window. I had just a .lb of copper so it took a minute to weigh. Got in line to cash out. The gentleman that I saw when I pulled in was still there. After a few minutes he kindly mention to the lady behind the glass that we were waiting. Which was cool of him however she didn’t care. It would have taken her all of 2 minutes to hand my few dollars. Instead she ignored him. After a few more min i said to myself forget this i have my receipt I’ll just come back tomorrow i had some aluminum cans i wanted to recycle anyways. Well found out they don’t take cans and the rude lady behind the glass as i handed her the receipt said rudely that when someone leaves with out cashing out they consider it a donation. Lol. kma I have yet to confirm that with anything in writing but Idc to know being that i wont be returning to this scrap metal yard. On a side note the other employees around the yard were helpful and kind.
The place is very clean. Everything looks very organized. About the pricing on the catalytic converter that I took, was very lousy. I got one from a 450 Caterpillar tractor. They only gave me $60.00 I think that's a rip-off...
I love this place, they helped me with a personal matter, thanks to them having an account profile of me, I'd lost my ID, They had a copy of it, them made me a copy , which helps me get a new one much easier and less hassle, didn't charge me for the copy either, the staff is awesome, the lady thats at the window, she's the best, Thank You, their prices are at their industry's average.

Great service, had a bunch of metal I've been sitting on for a few years that I was unable to identify, they told me to bring it over, scanned it and paid me out, now it's finally on its way to someone who can actually make use of it! Great company, an real asset to the community!
I have worked with P & T a few times over the last few years. They always treat me very fairly. They have a great group of people working for them too?
I would not recommend this recycling facility at all. They have individual weighed empty bins marked with metal plaques stating their weight. And they still managed to rip me off by 20 lbs. I added all of the weighed empty bins prior. I will never return here.
The worst place to sell ur copper. I always came here. Parked my car n unloaded my copper. But this time i had to go to the back for " heavy or large loads " thats before i knew this i had unloaded my copper and one of the workers saw me doing it n when i was done he came up to me n said i couldnt unload there i had to go to the back that there was the sign , ok but it doesnt say copper and besides its not heavy or large, we were talking back n forth about the stupid sign n me having unloaded everything n him watching me doing it n not sayig anything till i was done , taking my copper else where. Just dumb and stupid

They will tell you one thing and do another. First, I called to find out if they would purchase a specific material. I spoke to two different people who both confirmed they would purchase said material. However, when my driver arrived they said they no longer accept the material and would not be able to purchase it. When I called to find out why they only gave me the run around and no one had any idea who I spoke with on the phone the day prior. They need to get their act together and educate their employees on what they do and do not purchase. What a waste of time and money. SELLER BEWARE!!!
Not so good. I came here with 29.51 lbs of aluminum and I only got 27.44 lbs. And I checked out the weight of my cans. No fluids no dirt nothing to fallout of the basket as I am loading it. Well, I posted what I think about them.
