I bought a water pump/timing belt kit from Evergreen on Amazon for my 05 VW Golf GTI and not 10k mile later it broke and now I need a motor. Timing belts should last for 80k minimum.
I have no transportation because they sell old dry rotted timing belts, no doubt other parts are just as bad. Do your shopping at Auto zone, O'Reilly, NAPA. Anywhere else but Evergreen
All of these positive reviews are company employees. The parts are pure trash and will be defective on installation. Just had dealership install "new" evergreen timing chain kit and immediately could hear tensioners failing and guides clicking. They are now reopening the engine to install OEM.. lesson learned. Warrantee does not cover labor, but it doesn't matter because all the phone numbers are dead and their website is fake. Don't be fooled by the fake positive reviews!
wrong parts, no customer support and once reached mike was of no help and even hung up on me. stay away from these guys, do not buy from evergreen and gmb. cannot even figure out the correct parts for my wrx, sure isn't the parts that came in the mail for a 99 legacy. yeah mike i did your job for you, since you refused to help your customer i went and did the research. these parts and this business belong next to my time, washed down the toilet. not living up to 3rd world country standards!
I just spoke with Mike in the online order department to verify an order placed through Amazon. This guy is fantastic, he went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met and that my parts would arrive in a timely fashion so I can get my vehicle back on the road. Their pricing is very competitive, I could not find the timing chain kit anywhere near to what they are asking. Great job, I wish you many more years of business success.
Absolute waste of time and money. Poor workmanship on their parts. Don't use evergreen parts or they'll just make your problem worse and you'll have to fix it again, trust me!
