I purchased an X2 Power AGM battery from this Batteries Plus location less than six months ago. Recently my truck began struggling to start in mild weather and eventually would not start at all without a jump. I had the battery independently tested with a professional load tester, which showed the battery delivering roughly 540 CCA against its rated 840 CCA and failing the test. The alternator was verified to be charging correctly at 14.2 V, so the issue was clearly the battery. When I brought the battery back for warranty support, I was told I would need to leave it with the store for up to three days for their internal diagnosis. The store does not offer loaner batteries or any interim solution. I explained that my vehicle is street parked and subject to street cleaning restrictions, meaning leaving it disabled was not a practical option. I was told I would simply have to wait. I understand that businesses have internal testing policies, but for a six-month-old AGM starting battery that has already failed a professional load test and left a vehicle unable to start, this felt like poor customer support. Being asked to leave a car disabled on the street for multiple days with no accommodation is not reasonable. I ended up having to purchase an interim battery elsewhere just to keep my vehicle operational while waiting on their process. The battery itself may be a quality product, but the warranty and support experience at this location was disappointing and inflexible.

I broke the screen on my Pixel 8 and was referred to Batteries Plus by T-Mobile. Kelvin was able to quickly replace my broken screen and then also did an update on the phone the next day to re-enable fingerprint authorization. Everything went according to plan and my phone is working great no charge thanks to the insurance plan through T-Mobile. Five Stars!

This is a really cool spot. This place is like Autozone’s battery department but with better batteries. Neither autozone nor oreillys had the battery I needed and I came across this place. So if you have the odd battery give this place a try. If you know what you need, you can order it online and they’ll have it ready for you within a couple hours. Jason was super helpful and gave me a lot of options for my other battery needs. I have a feeling I found my new battery place. If you have something that uses a battery, they’ve got you covered.

I ordered a battery for pick up this past Sunday. The Website, Voicemail, and Invoice I received via e-mail all indicate that that the store was open from 10 am - 3pm. I drive over to the store only to find that there is a note on the door indicating that the store is closed on Sunday. I call the store on Monday to ask if they could ship the battery to me (the store is about 30 miles away from my house) and asked if they could ship the battery to me and was told it wouldn't be possible. I then asked to refund the purchase of the battery and that request was honored. The following day, I received an e-mail stating that the battery could be shipped for an additional 15-20 dollars. I reiterated that I would like a refund as I had to purchase a battery elsewhere. This was not a pleasant experience and will make me think twice before ordering from you again.

Placed an order for store pickup and Jason called me the next day letting me know it was ready. I stopped by and Jason greeted me and asked what brought me in their store today. I let him know about my order, he got it quickly and I was out within 5 minutes. He also helped reassure me that it was the right battery for my application. Great service and I’ll be back for my future battery needs. Thank you!

I came here to repair my phone screen through insurance., luckily Yoonie saw that the back of my phone also needed replacement. They had me call insurance back and it was added to my claim. Yoonie got started on it asap. I took a nice stroll and by the time I came back she was already done with it. Feels like a brand new phone. I also ended up buying a battery for a remote and a protective case for the phone. This will be my go to shop from now on. I didn't get the name of the guy that was there but he was also very kind and attentive. Thanks Yoonie and friends 🧡.

Outstanding customer service! I took my 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer in for a key cut and programming (that I purchased through them) and unfortunately the key didn't take to the programming however they made it right in terms of what they charged me and I was extremely grateful for the effort they put in and the resolution. Outstanding service!! It started with my initial phone call .... Kelvin was very knowledgeable and professional. He explained everything and helped me understand the function of my key fob. Then there was Alex....he was the technician that programmed my key fob... Excellent work! Everything is working just like it did 18 years ago (Toyota Tacoma 2007)!!

Batteries Plus was a little out of my way, but it was worth it. When I mentioned to Jason that the battery I needed was for a car I'm planning to sell, he offered me a refurbished battery instead of a new one, saving me probably $100.00 (and putting less profit in their pockets, of course.) In these times, that integrity is a pleasant surprise. I definitely recommend Batteries Plus, as well as Jason, for batteries as well as the other services they offer.

STAY AWAY! Go to Auto Zone! I just had a bad experience exactly A.G. shared his feedback on Yelp. Eric was unprofessional and rude cursing F word to me. I asked him a new battery for my VW Tiguan. He said he has it and will install it for me. After he was trying to figure it how remove to the old battery out, seems like he did not what he's doing. He installed the new battery without secure the bracket and the battery was tilt and loose. I asked him to secure the bracket correctly. He said "You don't need the bracket. If you want to put the bracket on, you do it. It is your car" I told him "if you didn't know how to do it, you need to tell me first so I can go to the other place, I did ask you if you can do it or not. I had my right arm surgery. I couldn’t carry or move anything that is heavy.” He said "I did change the batter for you". I told him "you did it incorrectly and incomplete!" Then come the worse part. I asked him if you don't secure the bracket and you refuse to do so. You need to put my old battery back. Guess what. He refused to do it and walked back to the store!! I followed him and told him you need to do it. Or gave me your manager phone number. He said "I am not going to do it and my manager is not here. I am not giving his phone number". After about 5 mins of argument. He went back to my car to put the old batter back. But he didn't secure the bracket! The battery was tilted and loose! I decided to drive my car to Auto Zone in El Monte. The guy at Auto Zone was very helpful, professional and friendly. He did everything correctly in less time at lower price. While this incident happened. There was another customer watching. He was shaking his head and agreed that this is a worse business ever!

This store recently opened and I'm glad it did because I live around the area and it was time my Xterra needed a new battery. My last battery was also from Batteries Plus (Brea) and I only picked it up instead of replacing it on the spot. Just minutes after placing my order on their website I got a call from a gentleman verifying my order and informed me that my battery is ready. So I jumpstarted my car and headed over. First thing I noticed was how accommodating and knowledgeable the staff was. They listened to my explanation, tested my old battery, then confirmed my warranty expired and rolled out a tool cart to assist me with the operation. The new battery was slightly taller so I had to make minor modifications to my custom cabling and they helped me alongside. We had some good conversations and after 10 minutes it was all done. I saved myself a trip for battery core refund. They made sure my car started before finalizing the bills. Replacing a car battery has never been this pleasant. These people know how it's done. Solid experience.

These guys are awesome! I bought a 10 year old mp3 player (Sony Walkman NWZ-E385 Brand New) off of eBay thinking it would work out of the box. I was wrong... the batteries was dead even though it was a brand new and never used. It was released in the Year 2013 or 2014 so the batteries deteriorated in storage. Luckily for me, I had a spare NWZ-E374 that I barely used and the battery was working perfectly, so I had a spare battery. I told Alex and Jason, that I wanted the battery swap for the 16 gb NWZ-E385 from the 8gb NWZ-E374. Even though they don't really specialize in fixing mp3 players, they agreed to fix it as a special case. Alex told me that they would need a soldering kit in order to fix the Walkman mp3 player. I waited for a few days, and got a call that they fixed the mp3 player and it is ready for pick up. Even though they don't normally fix mp3 players, they went above and beyond. The Walkman mp3 player works perfectly! Top notch customer service and a great deal. I paid only $15 Plus Tax to get this fixed. Thank you so much! Highly recommended! 5 STARS!

I’m so glad I found this store! My car battery just died and they installed it pretty quickly. They gave me a couple of choices and made recommendations on the batteries which I definitely appreciate and helped me to make a decision. I will be back for any of my battery needs for sure. They can also do key fob programming and replace batteries on phones! 😁

Highly recommended. Staff- Jesus is very professional and courteous . batteries Plus Rosemead was able to change my Prius prime battery with 50% off the price from what a Toyota dealership offers. And there’s no fee for “labor” in changing the car battery. Will definitely recommend to friends and families .

Our production was shooting at a nearby bldg and our interview had terrible audio. Calling store was friendly and they were able to provide some feedback on what could be the problem with our Rode Mic set up. We wasted 1.5 hrs as our equipment wasn’t performance /recording the interview and luckily Battery Plus was open on Sunday and we were able to replace our wireless equipment battery correctly. Saved our day. Thank you to the lady that was attentive to our issue.
