The staff is great it’s always a quick in and quick out they charge by the yard not by weight keep that in mine 25$ a yard of traditional trash. Always a good crew lets me take a few items that are in the dumpsters thanks for being such a great crew out here.
It’s hard to rate this place, but I’ll try. I was clearing out my old storage unit and ended up with a full 15-ft U-Haul truck of unwanted items. It was my first time using this service.
The employee quickly looked at everything and quoted about $370. I’m not sure if that’s high or low by local standards, but for me personally it felt expensive. On the positive side, the process was simple and straightforward, and everything was clear.
The only downside is the pricing — it would be better if it were more accessible and predictable for different people. When someone has a lot of junk but limited money, they’re basically left with no option but to keep living with it.
I changed my 5star to 1star. I have been dumping tree waste here for years. In 2025 increased the prices from $16.50-$19.50 saying it was for tipping the waste workers. When they did that the workers stopped helping me for tips and they moved the dump area. now I have to lift it over a fence.
I was really disappointed with the inconsistency at Weston Regional Sanitary Landfill. A week ago, I was charged $25 for a 5.5 foot pickup bed that was about 90% cardboard. I returned the following week with nearly the same type and amount of material, and the charge jumped to $63. Went watt ave cheaper and easier to unload.
There seems to be no consistent pricing system it feels like it’s based on the clerk’s judgment rather than any clear standard. That’s very unprofessional and frustrating for regular customers. Prices should be consistent per vehicle size, not fluctuate at random.
They have to get the C&D area figured out. The logistics are terrible. Long wait times. Dumping 1-2 trailers at a time followed by 5 minutes of the loader operator goofing around. Total mess.
If I could rate this facility lower I would. This place is extremely disorganized and the staff are rude. It seems each time I go here they are more disorganized and no one has any idea what is going on. I've wasted so much time here it's disgraceful. The individuals going here are blue collar workers. You waste our time here which wastes our money. This faculty is the perfect example of why people dump illegally.

Seriously though, people are friendly and helpful. It takes some time to dump your stuff but it is one of the quicker waste disposal places I've worked with.
This dump is terrible. Just to dump one load of green waste I was stuck in line for two hours, the groundskeepers always complain and look confused. This dump has no idea what they are doing. Keeping contractors and companies waiting this long to dump when they are paying is absurd. This is the stuff that puts guys like me out of business. I got employees at the job that can’t work till I get back. Half the time when I come here you can call it a day because you won’t be getting out ANY TIME SOON. And you’re stuck because there is a row of guys behind you. Pro tip. Make sure you have a full tank of gas when you come in !
I had some broken toys I could have fitted in my pickup bed, but I decided to throw it in my trailer. He measured my trailer and charged me for the size of my trailer WHAT THE HECK!! Charge me $86 to hall away some plastic toys RIP OFF!!
we lost a total of 3 man hours today. they have ONE person on the weigh master Deanna Olmstead i am so sorry they treat you like this, she needs a raise ASAP she should not have to be weighing hundreds of people in the span of an hour herself. this is unacceptable, we should not have to waste time and money like this AT THE DUMP. they need to get they’re systems together immediately
Terrible customer service, won't accept a refrigerator that has been gutted of ALL freon equipment, they say I need a certificate from an hvac company stating that all freon had been removed, they can't just look at it and tell everything had been removed. When I ask Heather where to go to get a certificate she hangs up on me. This is why people dump on the side of the road in the court. Heather is very unprofessional. I asked simple questions and I was polite... wow
Price is super high, worker measure my pickup truck and want $120, turn around drive to sacramento and pay flat rate $40. Why this location is extremely expensive???
Terrible pricing followed by a Bias estimated load measurement. The man at the gate overcharged me. Charged me more then a uhaul that's double my size load.
First time coming here the other day and was surprised how organized everything was. Staff were all helpful and friendly. We brought a small U-Haul truck full of old furniture, cardboard, scrap metal, and numerous other household trash and paid $70 to dispose it all. Much cheaper than the $700 we were quoted for a dumpster.
You basically wait in line and drive up to the booth where you’ll show them what you have to throw away. Then you’ll join a line to back your vehicle up to a bunch of dumpsters down below. It’s fun and easy!
Overall, it was an easy and practical process. Would definitely come back here again!
I've never done a dump run before. I was helping my friend clear out her backyard and she told me to use the dump near Thunder Valley Casino. It was such a breeze! $24 for an entire pickup truck load! Very friendly workers directed us to the right areas. We were out in about 20 minutes!
While conveniently close to home I'm done with this place. I've found the guy there rude and I feel like he overcharges everytime I go there. It seems that he basis the charge on the size of my trailer not whats inside. Today I was Charged $45.00 to dump some green waste, mainly branches. We pay enough in placer County for garbage. Its ridiculous for them to charge these prices. I'm done...
Giving one star because the weigh in guy where you pay was the most unhelpful person. He did not give us a ticket. We had to go back and get it. Customer service skills would be nice. The other staff were great.
