Amazing service and love from Bernice! Wow, so impressed with the kindness and the extra help. Needed headlight bulbs and she even changed them for me! What a great gal, you don’t see workers like that anymore. She’s a keeper O’Reileys!
’m extremely disappointed with the service I received at O’Reilly Auto Parts, particularly at the Lawndale location (15122 1/2 Hawthorne Blvd). In February 2025, I had a car battery installed there, and just one week later, in early March, the battery died. I had to call AAA for assistance, and their technician confirmed it was a bad battery that needed replacement. I even have the AAA report as proof.
I returned to the Lawndale store the next morning with the report, but was told the battery was “fine.” They refused to replace it, despite it being under warranty. Fast forward to April 11, the battery failed again—same issue. This time, I was beyond frustrated and had AAA replace the battery entirely.
What makes this worse is that I believe the battery originally installed by O’Reilly was used, not new. I went to a second location (4900 W 190th, Torrance) hoping for better help, but had a similar experience—dismissive attitude, no accountability, and no resolution.
I’m writing this review so others are aware. This experience cost me time, money, and peace of mind. If you’re relying on your vehicle daily, beware of the service and product quality at these O’Reilly locations. A warranty means nothing if the staff refuses to honor it.
I walk into the store and are immediately greeted by all three employees. Felt welcomed and acknowledged. One of the employees, Ryan, came over to help me. Great service. He assisted me with checking my vehicle’s engine light and suggested the necessary repair and parts. Ryan, is definitely a great asset to this store. I will definitely continue to make this my go to store for all my car parts needs.

Super awesome team here. I showed the lady on duty a picture of the part I needed and she barely got a glimpse before she took me right to it. I was with my 1 year old son at the time as well and couldn’t install the part and the manager Chris got down on the wet floor to help me install it. I will only be coming here from now on.
Waited in line while other cashier was on the phone. She was actually helping someone. Then some older guy was just standing there so I waited patiently giving him his time to finish what he was doing. Then some random guy walks into the store goes in front of us and up to him and they start having a full conversation. He completely ignores me and continues to help the other guy even though I had stood there waiting. Very disrespectful and unprofessional I am a local and will never go back to that store.
I have to many locations for Oraliey’s but the kind of service’s this location offers with experience staff and professional attitude have the highest rating and quantity service hope this review helps you get the best experience. I’m very satisfied with this particular location. Thanks to all the staff and management.
Just came in Sunday May 1, 2022 @ 6:20pm, asked the old man about my fuse for my tacoma horn and said he wouldn't go out there to see which fuse 15A it is. Said it is against the law for him to go out there after they have installed wipers and checked the engine light etc! Geeeez! 1 star!!!
Thank you Richard at Lawndale for your outstanding help that goes beyond your duty. Great knowledge. Help us with the right car battery, assist to install it, and make sure we are okay to start the car. Well, I oversimplified. Leaky battery, broken connector, hard to reach connection… struggled for 45 min. Richard helped put it together in 5 min. Thank you!
They were out of what I wanted but the people working there were friendly and helpful. I had to spend a few dollars more than what I was expecting to buy a higher end product.
I was having a smoking issue as I turn the engine on my Saturn at 181,000miles I usually visit the place at Carson CA, but didn't have the pcv valve found it at Lawndale, my smoke issue seems to have gone away plus my motor shaking problems...
I went in for a new battery. Gentleman who was working there was very rude.i asked to speak with a manager and was directed to manager Daniel. I am a 79 year old man and my knowledge of cars is for gone. Daniel was very patient and even helped me change the battery. I made a remake saying he should be promoted and he proceeded to say he was just promoted to manager. Very good choice from upper management. I will definitely be coming to Daniel if I need any further help with my car needs!
Very knowledgeable and helpful customer service reps. One of my favorite auto parts stores. They are not the cheapest but they treat you professionally and try hard to get you the right parts. Thanks guys.
It's a typical autoparts store, but with great customer service. Over the years, I've always been greeted by friendly staff that have always seemed happy to help. The store is well stocked, and always clean.
Friendly staff. Made sure I got the right parts everytime. They do free battery testing. They wouldn't change my battery because of corrosion which was disappointing. Good selection of parts for a good price.
Always have what I need at a good price ... if they don't they will get it from or send me to another store ... even if it's not there store ... always friendly and helpful
Nice clean new location with friendly staff. Parrs and tool selection is pretty standard with other O'Reilly stores but the layout did feel more open here. There's usually a food truck out front as well, so that can be convenient.
Came in to replace battery under warranty but they wanted to try and recharge it but it didn't work, so I waited an hour in-store so they could tell me the warranty expired. I showed them the receipt and they finally replaced it.
