They were helpful, polite and respectful of vehicle.. They did great work only down side is they are busy and their parking lot is very small.

Maria, who attended to me has great customer service. The mechanic himself (sorry I didn’t remember his name) was very knowledgeable.

Really grateful to Raymond and Alfredo for taking time to find and fix the issue with my Mini Cooper. Cost effective, fast and friendly service. Would definitely recommend.

I stopped by at Lawndale location for emergency brakes service by recomendation of Redondo Beach location manager Carlos Molina ,who did great service for my tires two weeks ago.Carlos was so kind to call Lawndale location and asked them to take care of me.He confirmed that it will be sooner knowing I have to go back to work ASAP.Ofiice manager Maria was very friendly, pleasant, professional and fast.She patiently explained everything, answered all questions,printed vehicle history information and explained all details,offer promotion and etc.Mechanics Rey and Presscila did amazing job,everything was professional ,fast and pleasant. I love this PEP Boys location. Manager Raymond and his team are professional, efficient, conscientious and have a an impecable work ethic -- something RARE these days; they deserve to be commended.

Quick & painless lube & oil, tire rotation, & wiper replacement(Manager’s Special coupon). The car was done in a little over half the time I was quoted. The cashier was very helpful & friendly. This is my second time here & I plan on coming back.

Pep Boys is always speedy and polite. I’ve been there for a couple different services and I’ve never once felt like I was being up charged. The prices are on par to competitive for headlights and oil changes

Maria was so helpful and the nicest, most pleasant person I’ve worked with at car service places. No pressure for other services to be had - quick job done on changing out a few of my daylight running bulbs. I went to 2 other private shops where they tried to sell me hundreds of dollars of unnecessary services without fixing the actual problem. This pep boys handled professionally and no made up pricing!

Arrived at this place for my appointment and checked in at 8:40. I asked how long for brake job, I was told 40 min for inspection, and 1-2hrs to complete the job once I approved. I did explain that I did need to pick up my daughter from school at 12:30. Paper work said I would be done by 11am. When I arrived there was NO customers there. Why in the world did it take 5hrs to do the brakes on my car??? I will not be returning. I was late 1hr to pick up my daughter from school.

Brake job took 4 hours the mechanic was on his phone and helping other mechanics kept walking back and forth for tools he already had just wasting time. Told them of the importance of what time we had to leave to pick up daughter and still made us an hour late. Horrible experience do not recommend.

The service at Pep Boys in Lawndale was amazing! They really helped me out by servicing my brakes, and the staff was incredible. I truly appreciate their excellent service.

Stopped in last night in evening thinking they were closed, but luckily, someone was still working. She was extremely helpful in confirming my appointment for the next day and even showed me how to use the app. She also looked up tires and gave me quotes on the spot. The next day, I arrived early and met with Raymond, who was polite and efficient. He quickly checked my car, handled the paperwork, and assured me it wouldn’t take long. In less than 30 minutes or quicker, my car was ready, and while I waited, he sent me tire quotes and a detailed report on my current tires, fluids, and more. Great service, friendly staff, and a smooth experience overall. Highly recommend!

Excellent customer service !i had bought my tires at Pepboys a couple years ago …I had a nail in one of my tires …..so I had a guarantee warranty type deal .they tried to fix it but since it was too close to rim I had to buy new tire .they gave me a discount on new tire .the young girl working at desk is very helpful And friendly !

Today I went to get my tires. I had a great experience. Service was fast and the customer exceeded my expectations ! I will definitely go back again to this location and highly recommend to others.

I went in to get my car inspected for Uber approval and everything went smooth. I called ahead to set an appointment for the following afternoon and my appointment went well and in a short amount of time. They are pretty close to home so I’d like to come here again for the service and support neighboring buisness.

My car had some issues with the headlight that were more complicated than replacing the light bulb. Raymond and Mauricio were more helpful. I'd say they are among the most professional and honest people in the industry. Will definitely be a loyal customer!

I went in for an air check, and the guy at the front counter told me it would take about 20 minutes to get to me, even though they had four techs on duty. Are you seriously telling me that none of them could spare two minutes to check the tire pressure? These service departments are getting worse. No wonder they had to close the Hawthorne location. It's no surprise more customers are turning to smaller, family-owned shops these days. America's Tire customer service is top-notch. I'm hoping they soon open one up close by.

This particular Pep Boys is unreliable. I made an appointment about two years ago. When I walked in I was told that the computers were down. I left and went somewhere else. I had been using the Pep Boys near my home ever since. On 7/30/24, I needed an oil change. The Pep Boys that I normally use is now closed. I took a chance on the Lawndale Pep Boys again because it was closest to my home. I made the appointment online. When I walked into the shop, the girl at the desk asked me what I was in for. I told her I made an appointment for an oil change. She immediately hit me with, "You'll have to come back tomorrow, our computers are down." I was furious! I had gone against my better judgement in choosing that shop as it was. It seems this excuse is a common occurrence for that place. The very least they can do, is give the customers a courtesy call, IF INDEED the computers are down.

I have been coming to this location since it 1st opened, and I really liked it. Over the last 4 years this place as gone down hill! They have appt slots and honestly it doesn't matter! You still have to wait forever! What's the point in appts? Today I had an appt foe 3pm to be told "my guys are at lunch" your car won't be taken for 1.5 hours...they close at 5pm. Why was a 3pm appt avail if there wasn't anyone to complete the service? Raymond is the manager and his demeanor is rude and off putting. Seems to speak to men less condescending and us women the opposite. Previous Manager was such a pleasant person to work with. Time for me to find a new car spot. I will definitely NOT Recommend this place anymore. Very disappointed and would really like to know who the actual owner of this location is.

Hector over at Pacific tires took care of me as soon as I pulled in. I was visiting from Northern California and got a nail in my tire. They took care of me right away and got me back on the road. Highly recommend this place!

Took my car in yesterday for flat tire fix. Woke up this morning and the same tire was flat again. Took it back this morning and they wanted me to wait 2 hours before they could get to it. Since they supposedly fixed it yesterday I think it should be a little more urgent. They didn't seem too concerned. *edit: Took back the car after the holiday, they promptly attended to the vehicle and fixed the leak. Fortunately had another car to take for our road trip. Just glad this didn't happen while on our trip.

Fast and professional service. I got a puncture that morning that required a replacement tire. They were able to squeeze me in so my car was ready by the end of my work day for be commute home. Great customer service and making it all happen quickly.

We called to confirm a wheel alignment could be done. They replied yes, gave us an appointment and link. On the day of the appointment, we arrived late but they still got our car in the service bay within a few minutes. The link allowed us to see the progression of work done. We opted to wait while the service was being done and were asked if we wanted to watch television while we waited. The waiting room was clean. The service was completed before the quoted time and the car drives great.

Needed rear brake pads and an oil change. Was given a very reasonable estimate so decided to try them. Decided to change front pads at the same time. They checked the vehicle and determined that front pads were fine, but rear rotors also needed replacing. Maria at the front desk was great. The technician did a very thorough job. At payout Raymond added some discount coupons I wasn’t even aware of. I will definitely be back and suggest you check them out. Great customer service and excellent, knowledgeable staff.

First time using the service. Had to replace a dead battery. I had an appointment first thing in the morning, and it didn’t take a whole lot for them to get the work done. They offered 2 different batteries - one AGM and the other standard. The first was slightly more expensive but had an additional year of warranty (4 years, rather than 3 years). And I was told that the AGM battery gets charged faster than the other, which meant that it would last longer. It is their words, not mine. In the end though I’d rather have a battery that lasts for 4 years in case it dies on me and I have to replace it with a new, which is free with the warranty. I had once a Costco battery which had 3-year warranty died on me and had it replaced with a new for free then, so it’s good to know that there’s an extra year to fall back on. Oh, and I was told that it’d cost $80 there to install a battery purchased elsewhere. With the batteries they sell, you pay only for the battery that you’d purchase (although who knows if they have already factored that in when pricing their batteries). At any rate, I decided to go with a professional service this time because it appeared to be more complicated to remove the old battery and install a new in a ¾ ton truck (unlike with an SUV that I installed the battery purchased from Costco myself). I don’t know if the batteries Costco sells are AGM but it (only one type) was similar to the price of the standard battery at Pep Boys. The thing is that Costco doesn’t install batteries for you. When I saw the signs saying free tire pressure check and free brake inspection while waiting, I didn’t think of them much. But I saw a vehicle pull in, a customer got out and went into the shop and then next minute she was getting tire pressure check. I didn’t ask about it but it appeared that that was what happened.
