I don't know who is in charge of the pricing, but it's insane. everything is over priced. A sequence jacket is marked at $350. A old dress from H&M is priced at $30. They forgot it's a 2nd hand store. Someone with that kind of money does not shop at the thrift store. The cashier's are nice ladies. The music is always very loud too, I feel bad for the cashier's listening to that music all day long.

I’ve been coming to this thrift store since childhood, but the service has gotten horrible. On 8/20, I wanted to see a bracelet from the display case. I waited patiently for 2–3 minutes while the cashier finished a large transaction, then stood in line for another 5+ minutes, planning to ask my cashier once it was my turn. When I finally got to the register, the cashier told me she couldn’t show me anything from the case unless she closed her register and I got back in line all over again. There is no sign stating this policy, only signs about item limits. If it’s such an important rule, it should be clearly posted: “Please ask to see case items before paying.” When I asked if someone else could help me, she just said, “There’s no one else,” even though there were several employees walking around the sales floor. For a business that already profits from donations, the least they could provide is decent customer service. Instead, customers are left frustrated and dismissed.

Business model: price everything at double or triple its value to mark it at 50% off. Insanely deceiving , smart but deceiving. Some of the stuff’s price are okay, but a “leather” jacket from forever 21 shouldn’t be marked at $50 LOL

I was baffled today on my experience 4/8, I arrived with a car loaded of goods. I was greeted by Adan & he automatically said he couldn't accept a step 2 woodland climber. Mind you this is the place I bought it from. I said you're joking right or your being serious. He said no I'm being serious. I asked why not. He said because it's going to be hard to sell. ? The item retails for $400. It's not big, plus I had already took it apart you literally connect the parts together does not need tools to build it back. I honestly feel he didn't want to deal w the maintenance or job period or having to build it. As it is they do not assist to help you bring down or load donations if needed assistance. They've never offered I've always have had to ask if needed. But then he says what else do you have I said bags full of stuff. He tells me the bags are fine, I thought to myself no it's all or nothing. If that's the case they need to have signs of what they can and can't accept. The manager was within sight I politely asked she basically said whatever the man said that's what it is. I said that's fine I'll take my donations elsewhere. Which is wild to me because they accept appliances that dont work. I have noticed a decline in goods customers and donations. Since new management the store has gotten worse with the prices. Don't let them see or think it's a name brand because up the price goes lmao.

Pretty small but pretty decent variety. Not a lot for shoes, prices were good. Went on Sunday morning and it wasn't too busy

I had an incredibly negative experience with a cash register worker named Denise at the Value Village/ARC store in Bellflower. Denise displayed a mean and discriminatory attitude that left me shocked and disgusted. During my interaction with Denise, it was abundantly clear that she showed favoritism towards white customers while displaying prejudice against others. Her discriminatory behavior is not only morally reprehensible but also goes against any standards of fair and equal treatment. Denise's mean-spirited and discriminatory attitude not only ruined my shopping experience but also left me deeply disappointed in the store's management for allowing such behavior to persist. Discrimination has no place in any establishment, and it's essential that Value Village/ARC addresses this issue promptly and takes appropriate action to ensure that all customers are treated with respect and dignity. I would strongly caution others against shopping at this store until they address and rectify the behavior of employees like Denise, who tarnish their reputation with their discriminatory actions.

Went on Half Price Day found a bunch of Antique Dollies and a beautiful Vase- price was clearly marked on the vase but Diane the Cashier said that someone changed the price so she could not sell to me I would have to come back tomorrow once it gets repriced, and the dollies I found 1 had a price and the matching one Dr is dnt have a price and even though no it wasn't he identical match she said No Way I couldnt buy it without price tag I asked if she could save for me for tomorrow and still get half price she said Absolutely No ,I left upset about the whole situation but I wanted the items so I went back and Diane did not save for me I had to search the shelf all over again for the case and dig thru the dollie bin again, Thank Goodness I found them took to the front to purchase and Diane was still Sour Faced when she rung me up, She needs a refresher course on Customer Service and be happy she has a Job in today's economy. I will be going back to Shop there ANYMORE ....

Been coming here as a kid, still the best thrift store in my opinion with so many great deals. Every Saturday everything is 50% off! The staff there are great and I always spend less than $20 but leave with a lot of stuff.

The prices are insane! Jackets that have stains on them for 40 dollars and up! The jewelry is over 100 dollars! Did they forget people donate these items and the people that come here like myself can afford department store prices.

Ca$h only! I love this thrift store. It is very well organized into sections. Boys pants, boys shirt, boys shorts, boys sweats, boys jackets, etc. Then, each section is divided by sizes and colors. All Some other thrifts stores pile everything into a single section. And you have to go through rack after rack just to find the items you're looking for. Always bring extra cash, because I usually find more stuff.

It had been well over 16 years since ive been to this location. Out of all the old thrifts i used to frequent, this one remained the same in the best way possible. Theyve removed a few shelves from the middle and there are more clothes now, but all in all the vibes are immaculate. And prices were the best ive encountered so far. Denise is so nice and I wish her nothing but the best. Thank you ARC for making me feel like a little kid again. ??

It's ok. You can find some good deals once in a while... but we're in 2022 and by this time I would expect all establishments to be able to accept cards! (Specially since, as an owner, you can very cheaply download the square app, and take cards like that! Or at least zelle!! Come on, now! It's 2022!) Staff is not the friendliest, but they'll help you if needed.

They get this stuff FREE, right?? FREEE, FROM US, THE RESIDENTS!! So why are they price gouging us too!!?? waay overpriced!!, Clothes, furniture, electronics, overpriced! 90% of the clothes have stains, smell bad or are ripped some way, dvds scratched, video games locked away and priced like they are game stop!! Electronics, junk! I will be donating and shipping elsewhere!!

They overcharge on their shoes big time!!!! $49 for used Vans is rediculous. Also, they really need to reorganize their sales floor and clean the floors and fixtures occasionally.

Daily deals , ends up being cheaper than goodwill and usually have much better clothes in my opinion. Only downside is it's cash only so come prepared ! But staff is very friendly and will hold your clothes if you need to come back

Love shopping there always great buys. I found a Bronze Purse yo match my Shoes from DSW. My friend found a PRADA Purse that was half off. Check it out you all and Thank your girl later.

Overly priced items. You are better off paying full price for brand new item. One example is a pair of used vans for $39.99, among other shoe brands. You really have to look for the sale color of the week for a discount. I have visited better thrift stores. And they only accept cash.

The clothing was super cheap. Shoes, items, and furniture is super overpriced. I loved a wardrobe but it was over $500, it was missing drawers, breaking and severely worn. A lot of the items were so overpriced yet we're worn or cheap.

This thrift store has great prices & daily deals!Went in searching for outdoor chairs & table and found so much more. Store could use a paint ( update/Remodel ) and it's hard to see the store from the street but it's pretty organized and the staff is friendly, helpful & kind.

The staff is very friendly. I love shopping at this store. I just don't like going when there's this one customer's always there and doesn't give you the opportunity to get anything. He guards the back door where the cards come out and doesn't give you the opportunity to get something for yourself. It's a older heavyset guy with Ponytail and bald spot on top. Is almost always wearing Hawaiian shirts. And I'm not gonna lie but. I actually stopped going to the store because of him. Good luck everyone.

my wife and i visited AR&C Value Village Thrift Store for the first time this past week. we were surprised at how large the establishment is. it was full of great stuff. clothes, toys, furniture and various knick knacks. some of the items were priced maybe more than i would have priced them; but many items were at least reasonably priced, if not downright underpriced. not that i'm complaining about that. we learned that like many thrift stores; there are discounts based on the color of the price tag-throughout the week. and on Saturday there is a great discount on furniture. so this past Saturday; we went back to pick up a neat little side table because we were told about the furniture discount. while we were there picking up the cute side table; we found a cool little kitchen table complete with a leaf; that was included. so we picked up both of them. we were helped by Jeff; he was great. he helped us load the kitchen table and even used a crescent wrench to remove the legs, because the table wouldn't quite fit into the back of the car. he was so friendly that we will go back just to have him help us again. so we will go back; and so should you.

The secondhand store by Clark on Alondra is an A+++ store we've been shopping there for 35 years. My Mom went there and my Children go there too. The people are really nice and you can afford to by something. But you needa new picture. I love going there ,but it looks like you have a picture of someplace else

Despite needing some outward attention, this second hand store has a fair selection of items (clothing, shoes, furniture, accessories, books, luggage, toys, household items...) to choose from at very reasonable prices. The hard working staff display new items everyday and who doesn't enjoy a half off day on the 3/4 colors almost everday. A wonderful local buisness to support. CASH only and no bills over $100.

They normally have nice products. Parking is good. People are nice. Only thing is there is no phone number offered. I would like to know if they are open today so I can drop off. Would like to call 1st. Oh well. We win some and we ...

Always good finds. Great prices on most items, typically 1/2 off the tag, check the tag color and day as they have certain specials on certain days. Definitely worth a visit. Cash only!!
