Went to Pepboys for an oil change and was helped by Rafael. He was so helpful in explaining what else our cars needed. He was very professional, friendly and respectful. Spoke in ways I would understand. The service was great and I feel very confident at the job done.
I made an appointment Saturday for Sunday at 9:30am because I had an antifreeze leak. I went into to the appointment for the rude girl at the service desk to tell me that a mechanic is not their on Sundays. It would have been nice for the website to say what services are available on Sundays instead of having people make appointments and then when you get there they say we dont have a mechanic on Sundays.... Ended up going to Firestone where I received service and great customer service.... Pep Boys just lost another customer.
I had a truly wonderful experience today! Rafael provided such excellent customer service, and I was in and out in no time at all. A big thank you to David and Hector as well, who did an absolutely fantastic job. It's always a pleasure when the team goes above and beyond. I really appreciate their efficiency and helpfulness!

I was able to schedule an appointment for oil change and tire rotation same day. I waited there for my car to be serviced and wait time wasn’t bad. Excellence customer service thats why I always come to this location
We had an unexpected emergency and had to take the Downey exit just to find help quickly and we are so grateful we ended up at Pep Boys in Bellflower.
Even on such short notice, Rafael and David were ready to help us immediately. There was no hesitation, no frustration, just calm, professional assistance when we truly needed it. Rafael quickly assessed the situation, ordered the tire we needed, picked them up, and installed them as efficiently as possible. The turnaround time was impressive, especially considering it was an urgent situation.
But what truly touched us was their kindness.
David went out of his way to drop us off at work so we wouldn’t be late. It was 5.minutes away. They absolutely didn’t have to do that... yet they chose to help us beyond the normal scope of service. That level of care speaks volumes about their character and the culture at this location.
The quality of work was excellent. The tires were installed properly and efficiently. The customer service was top-notch: respectful, kind, and genuinely caring.
In a stressful moment, Rafael and David turned our emergency into a smooth experience. We are incredibly thankful for their professionalism and heart.

After 750.00 dollars. I dropped the vehicle off at 831 am. I received a call from
Pep boys at 924 am giving me price and received a text at 1029 am stating that vehicle was ready for pick up. Price breakdown Vehicle was charged 399.00 for labor 2 hours @189.00 an hour. $99.00 dollars diagnostic fee and $249.00 for parts and the free vehicle inspection. Three days later same code is on vehicle. I am not a happy camper.

The customer service was top-notch—the team was professional, polite, and clearly explained everything from start to finish. I have a Ford Maverick, my tire was losing air. I saw it had a nail in it. I was able to take it in right away. The associate informed me it was in the sidewall so I would need it replaced. The whole process took under an hour. They were friendly, professional, and very efficient.
Came in today 11-17-25 for two front tires, but I left with 4 tires an oil change with the three step cleaner. Tech reinstalled my spare and let me know my brakes were in good shape. I told him another pep boys done them last year this time.
The guy at who done the paperwork got me what I needed and what I wanted as far as the tires were concerned. Lastly, oil change I could beat because what I was paying before was the same price but I got the three step fuel system cleaning and engine treatment for the same price as an oil change some where else.
Only thing was the special buy two get two free when you by this brand o tires didn't apply to me because if the tire size cooper. What could I say or do because I need new tires and it's raining when they put these on. 255/60R/19.
The manager at Pep Boys, Rafael, was incredibly professional when I needed a new tire Nov. 18. But this was not the first time. His business is always immaculate.service is thorough and swift. He greets customers in a friendly and welcoming manner. He suggests items based on need, not greed. I would recommend this location to all.
Been taking my cars to this Pep Boys for service for 15+ Years. Staff is well-trusted, friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. My current vehicle is a 2005 Honda Accord with 218,704 Miles on it, needing a little TLC. Pep Boys mechanics took care of it, and the cost was very reasonable! One thing I Love, is they Don't browbeat you into unnecessary service. I also loved the new electronic progress tracker, and in-progress Inspection Results with pictures. So I knew exactly what repairs were needed in Real-time. 100% satisfied!
I make my appointments online and the service is quick and easy once you get there. They are helpful and super honest. They provide updates along the way. I'll continue to bring my car here for as long as needed!

Set up a 8 am appointment for 4 new tires and to put the best tire on as a spare. Figured it would take a couple of hours. Been here for over 5 hours. They didn't take the truck back to even start until after 1030 am. Not worth making an appointment.
When we got here figured they knew the tires. But they did not, got that handled after 830
Lady on the phone couldn't even advised if they had the tires we were looking for placed me on hold and a tech picked up the phone after I was hold for over 5 minutes and had to ask what size and truck info. Before he advised the tries were not in stock ( thought the website said they were) thought we reserved a different set, got here today and they were in stock and got a better deal than before.
When it was done I asked about the spare tire and they did not mount it and I had to assist with getting the tire down. And they said the old one was good had them check it to make sure it had pressure and the tech david did a water test as well and there was a leak.. so they did have to mount the old/new tire..
Over all I gave 3 stars due to the fact of the lady on the phone and how long this has taken.. the tech david did a great job 5 stars to him

I'm extremely dissatisfied with the service I received. Javier quoted me a price over the phone that was significantly higher than the actual cost. Fortunately, the female employee I dealt with in-store was transparent about the correct price. However, this experience has led me to decide that my family and I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this business to others.
I had a 10 o'clock appointment for a simple oil change. At 11:15 I asked how much longer it would be before I could get my car. One of the 3 people sitting at the registers told me that they only had one technician working there. She could have told me that at the beginning. Then she said that I was next. I went outside to get some fresh air. I saw the technician drive out the car that he had finished. Instead of taking my car he took a van into the bay and started working on it. Over an hour and a half later I took my car without it being serviced. The appointment was useless. I don't think that all overweight people are lazy but the woman and man that helped(?) me didn't seem to care and didn't even apologize when I asked for my keys. I am old to remember when pep boys was a quality brand. This location does not reflect that at all.
The day after Christmas is not a day you want to spend getting a tire replaced. Maria, the cashier greeted me with a smile and a professional attitude. She informed me of the various options I had in tires and helped me make the selection. Maria called to let me know I needed another tire and a tire rotation. I appreciate her keeping me updated.
I work not far from Pep Boys, she was kind enough to have Lonnie the technician who performed the service drive me to my office and pick me up when the service was completed . I was very impressed with that service and with both Mariah and Lonnie. They both are an asset to the Pep Boys Organization.
I usually tend to oil changes myself but I'm damn glad I didn't this time cause I was offered an engine flush when I took my car in to the shop. My car definitely feels more potent and responsive now. I was worried that the fuel system was begging to fail when I noticed that the car began to feel more sluggish around the half gas mark. Well that's a thing of the past. I'd like to thank the gentleman that informed me of the procedure!
Unexpected tire repair while working Uber. When I first drove up Tech said 3 hour wait. Javier and his team took very good care of me and got me back on the road within 30 minutes. Thank you. Bless you.
I was told by the woman running the service desk that it would be $800 for rear break pad replacement with the rotors and a fluid flush. This was after I waited over an hour when I had a scheduled appointment. Since I have a Car Advise account, I would have received a discount and the bill would have been a little over $400. I had to reschedule the appointment because I was told that it would be 3-4 hours to complete. When I got home I called Break Masters. They did the job for $275, which was the normal price without Car Advise. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, patronize the mom & pops. These big name brands are out of their minds. Not to mention, customer service wasn’t the greatest. The woman at the service desk acted as if me wanting to use my Car Advise discount was an inconvenience to her life and didn’t even want to assist with trying to figure it out. But then turn around and want $800 for a break job. No thanks, I’ll keep my hard earned money in my pocket and I’ll patronize places that know how to treat people.
I had this Pep Boys do my brakes last weekend and a few days later I hear my brakes making a weird noise. I looked into and found front left caliper missing a bolt. Took it back to them and I’ve waited two hours and my truck is still in the bay waiting for parts. No apology or update as it seems like they don’t care. Next brake job I’ll be taking my truck somewhere else.
Must change this review, terrible experience never going back. I submitted a review on the pep boys website waiting for a customer service manager to explain the details. For all customers, be careful! They're deceitful, condescending, rude.
