Best customer service I’ve received from any car related person. Was driving through Crescent City when my engine misfired and nobody else in town was willing to help me out on short notice. These guys dropped what they were working on and had me in and out in an hour and a half. I cannot recommend them enough! Car is running great and got us the 1500 miles back home.
I’m so grateful for Robertson’s Automotive. I was in a bind. I woke up at my campsite with a puddle underneath my vintage VW Bus. I realize it was dripping from a fuel hose. I went to Robertson’s and even though they were very busy and they do not work on vintage VW buses. He put it up on the rack and he fixed the leak until I could get all the fuel hoses replaced permanently.
Did this for minimum cost and got me on the road right away so grateful, great place!

We were traveling from Iowa and the starter went out on our truck. They came to our rescue right away. They had it fixed in a couple hours and did not charge us an arm and a leg. They are honest, extremely helpful and reasonably priced.
The man is a freaking genius. I needed some specific lubrication. Problem solved! I call him up, he was waiting on some other customers to bring their vehicles in and he said if you come on down right now, I will fix you up. And he did at a very reasonable rate. he can’t help it that he looks like he came out of Willy Wonka, chocolate factory, and his helper from Smurf town but they are the best! Driving down the coast and realized our truck needed new breaks. These folks were able to get us in the same day and had parts available. Charged us around $650 for new rotors, calipers, and pads (including labor). Very reasonably priced, quick & no nonsense service. Highly recommend.
My harmonic balancer came apart while driving through town. Fortunately it happened a few blocks from their shop. They got us back on the road while we watched a movie next door. My family and I are very grateful for their service. Great shop and great people.
The people here are awesome! They got my car up and running really quickly and the office was incredibly reasonable. I'll be back if my car breaks down again.
Called to make a smog appointment and got seen immediately. Came in and all the gentleman were helpful and fast. Car passed smog and I was on my way in a very short time. They've always been polite and efficient every time I've used them throughout the years. Will be back, definitely.
These guys were amazing! While traveling, my starter went out! I realized that all the local mechanic shops were like 2 weeks out of as far as getting me on the schedule to swap it out. So I called Robertson's desperate to see if they could just squeeze me in somewhere in the schedule for an hour job and they did!! I was so grateful! They came and towed it for me... swapped out my starter, charged my battery and sent me on my way! Definitely didn't get the vibe that I was being taken advantage of or anything... being a woman traveling alone. Would totally recommend these guys anytime!!
Saved us when we took a road trip a few years back and had car trouble. Got us back on the road and went above and beyond to pick us up with his roll back and get the car fixed. We still managed to make the redwoods before nightfall.
Great, Great, Great! These folks go above and beyond. I had a diesel oil change done here and the owner Mac Robertson greeted me personally and then introduced me to his lead mechanic who did a full service oil change and inspection of my truck. Even fixed a cold air intake issue at no extra charge. I could not be more pleased with the service Mac and his team gave me. This is a small shop of four mechanics so be sure to make an appointment. The price was reasonable and the work was top notch. I will be back to do more business here.
We were on a road trip from Colorado in July when we broke down in Klamath. Robertson's Towing came and got us, took our car to their shop for the night and then took our car to Medford Nissan the next day. They were super nice and helpful - great service in every way!
This shop was great. Came for smog check. We were late but they didn’t make us feel bad and worked us in. The waiting room is a little dirty and could use a deep clean and remodel but I wasn’t there to stay at a resort. We were there for good service and they gave us that, so 5 stars for sure.
While traveling through Crescent City, my car developed an oil leak. Other shops told me they couldn't even see me for two weeks, but Sam told me to come on in right away. When I arrived he immediately dropped what he was doing and gave all his attention to my car. He diagnosed a loose oil filter, tightened it and sent me on my way with no charge.
Sam's attitude and customer service deserves more than 5 stars. And he could have told me anything about the problem. His integrity and generosity cannot be greater, and I highly recommend this business.
We were traveling from cottonwood ca to the coast and needed our tires aired. Everywhere we stopped the air pumps were broken. this gentleman at this shop we happen to run into was very helpful aired our tires and gave us very helpful recommendations on safety of our vehicle and pull trailer. Great honest place. Thank you for keeping us safe.
This place is amazing! I had to get a smog check ASAP and they were able to squeeze me in same day. They were fast, efficient, and friendly and they deserve all the credit possible. Quality guys
My alternator belt broke while driving through the area. I barely made it 2 miles into their shop. They were amazing! Got me back on the road within an hour. Super reasonable price and excellent service. Highly recommended.
These guys were amazing. We were traveling up the coast on day 3 of a 2 week vacation (the first my husband had taken in 13 years!!). We were checking out crescent city and stopped at McDonald's. They had us wait in the mobile food spot for our food to be ready. Then the car wouldn't start!!! We called AAA who told us they'd send someone out to replace the battery. A few minutes later my husband got a call from AAA saying they don't have battery service in Crescent City but could jump start or tow us. So I started looking for a mechanic. The guy on the phone at Robertson's was so nice. Looked up the battery to make sure they had it then offered to come jump start us since they were only a block away and AAA was going to take awhile. Someone showed up within a couple minutes, we followed him back to the shop and were on our way within 20 minutes. We're so very thankful that Robertson's saved our trip!!! They were very friendly, professional and helpful. If I'm ever in need of automotive services in Crescent City again, this is where I'll go!
My experience with Robertson's was one of the best parts about my unscheduled stay in Crescent City. Had a freeze plug bust just outside of town. Charlie towed me to the shop within the hour. Immediately we took off the doghouse and had a look. He did not sugar coat or sales pitch, very knowledgable and to the point, yet took the time to thoroughly explain the issue. It took two days before he had room on the lift, but this was a day earlier than he originally projected. Receipt says he charged me $190 for 2 hours of labor, which seems fair. $75 for about a 5 mile tow. Thanks, dude! ?
I'm amazed at the high level of customer service! I was stranded 2 states away with my 3 children. Charlie was a beacon of light during this stressful event & went above-and-beyond for us! Reasonably priced and I wish I had a place like this where I live!
Awesome guys! We were traveling and check engine light came on...we stopped here based on reviews. They immediately checked the computer and eased our minds that it was not a problem for driving even long distance. Saved the day AND our vacation! Definitely try them FIRST!
I traveled from Eugene Oregon to be with my daughter in law who was due to have her first child. My son was in Portland on a new job training for 3 weeks, so I was on my way to Crescent City CA to make sure someone was there with her if she needed to get to the hospital. I almost made it there but I broke down on hwy 199. I called Robertson's for repairs. I explained my situation and they took my car that same day and fixed it! I am very appreciative! He is very friendly, explained things well to me, and fair price! I recommend them to anyone who needs auto help. Thank you, Robertson's!
