They sold me a 2006 Chevy avalanche that was reported stolen while it was in their possession they sold it to me I tried to register with DMV just to find out there was a hold and I couldn't get it registered that was back in Sept of 2025 it is now Jan 7th 2026 and I'm still waiting on updates I have to continuously call and never get a call back nobody has reassured me about anything I've asked for the late fees to be waived due to them not doing their due diligence and making sure the vehicle was able to be sold to the public but they said they are not liable for any late fees and not willing to reimburse anything because it took us longer than the 10 days on paperwork but yet they are only acting as if they are trying to settle the situation and have not yet will update the list when things are figured out definitely wouldn't do business with these sketchy people they have already tried to get an older man named Bruce to sell them his junkyard at way undervalue then tried to rip him off on the cash by saying they told him after they open the business they will pay the rest they are just scammers the mom and daughter are the worst
The police used this company to tow my car from an accident. When I picked it up the next day- my car was ransacked and a bunch of things- especially sentimental- were stolen. Be careful. I would not recommend them to anyone.
Our technician who provided our service was fantastic - very punctual and professional. My lack of stars is for the strange interaction with the owner. The owner interrogated me when I came by to tip him for his service, though. He accepted our envelope with cash, then came back to ask me if R had paid for our gas.
It struck me as very strange to be asked such a thing when bringing by a tip. Then, it occurred to me that they had a reason to ask that question.
Firstly, it was incredibly rude to presume that I had my tow person pay for my gas. How insulting! But on top of that - I sincerely hope these aren't the kind of people that would punish someone for doing a good deed, such as helping a stranded motorist. We need more good people in the world. Behavior like that should be rewarded, not punished.
Also, perhaps be more professional when accepting a gratuity for your employee. Maybe you could practice gratefulness and charity yourselves?
I called Affordable Tow to tow my truck from a line service road 12.8 miles above Gasquet. They asked for a UPIN which I did not have. I gave them detailed directions and said to call me if they needed more info. I didnt get a call back from them and assumed they were sending a tow truck per that conversation. I got a call from my insurance company today who called AT to arrange for my truck to be picked up. They said they never went and got it. So my truck was on the mountain all weekend and I didn't even know it had not been picked up until this am (TUE). When I called AT to ask for an explanation, I spoke to Isabelle. She never apologized, never acknowledged the miscommunication, never gave a reason as to their lack of communications, nothing. Her resolution was to say since they had lost my business, she didn't think further conversation was needed. Wow!!
My Ford Windstar light blue was towed off private property and My title and Bill of sale was in the driver's side door I was told that it was not there , However, My driver's license was taken to My old address and I Patrick Carson went to the wrecking yard and asked Bruce the owner if I could check the van for anything that may have been left in it of My personal property having been everything I owned literally left in My life pictures of My 2 youngest daughters birth certificate's Court papers,tools, surfboard, jewelry,stereo and 2 1000 watt amplifier's All of my clothes and My many collectors coins I have been saving for years we're all taken or actually kept by affordable tows owners or employees that would make them All untrustworthy people in the community of DelNorte County, I cannot believe they are this kind of people who have no Love for one's life as well as for their actions to undermine one's irreplaceable families possessions I'm just disgusted with them all around sickened by them period!
Affordable Tow is hands down greatest tow service around. Wonderful local family with good values and amazing customer service. Hands down will always recommend them to everyone.
Very quick response! We didn't have to follow our vehicle all the way to Brookings for her to drop it off. She handled everything quickly and professionally.
While driving a motor home, their driver tailgated me, honked a few times, and turned on his flashing roof lights. All totally unnecessary just showing his impatience. I was going a bit slow, but was proper, safe speed for my oversized vehicle. I have it all on rear dashcam.

The girl who showed up was very disrespectful and rude, I seen she was having trouble and I tried to help her and she was very rude about it and refused my help.
Unprofessional service, deserves a bad review.
I took my vehicle in to have a new windshield put in. When we got it back they had broken our dashboard and are claiming it was already broken even though we have pictures to prove it wasn't broken. Left us sitting in the parking lot waiting for the owner. Extremely unprofessional and rude.
My car would not start this morning due to a battery reason, I called and the lady on the phone was very helpful and gave me a quote right away. The tow truck arrived soon after, offered to try to just jump start it, battery wasn't charging, then he was careful when pulling it up onto the truck, let me ride along both wearing masks, was very friendly. Unloaded my car at chevron for me, and only paid $45. They took my debit card no problem and texted me a receipt.
Was gonna have a vehicle towed and had a set time...they showed up way early and just left and turned off their phone. Was finally able to get ahold of the clerk and she was rude, said we should have been there! We were there at the time she told us to be! Very rude and unprofessional, do not recommend this business at all.
The lady that I spoke with is costing you money. She was very rude and was not willing to go out of her way to accomplish anything.the information she ask me for I did not have since it 2as not my vehicle.I gave her a phone number and an address And a name .all she had to do was call the number that I provided to her and she was unwilling to do so .and because of that your business lost an easy money sale.
This tow company had stolen my personal property after I had a set date authorized by the owner, I was told I could receive my property out of my impounded vehicle. After the 30 days I was greeted with an unprofessional glare and treated poorly, I was told the attitude was because of a impound which means that I did something wrong they felt they needed to play the role if the law and that they were giving me what property they felt I deserved being they needed to be reimbursed for the impound. It was not the same agreement as agreed by the female owner of the establishment. As far as tow time they were right on time. Very courteous at the time of tow.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I tried arranging a tow due to an accident, she asked me for my insurance policy number and their phone number, then got rude and angry when I tried to give it to her! I asked for her supervisor then she said Find Someone Else, then hung up on me!!! Use someone else this company VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!
Our company was referred to Affordable Tow & Auto by our local tow company (in Medford) when 2 of our installers had their van break down on the way back from a Brookings installation job on the Redwood Highway. We couldn't have been more pleased with that referral! They went out of their way to get to our guys in a prompt manner late in the afternoon, they were very pleasant and professional to deal with, especially Alicia and Sarah, and were very affordable! They brought our guys back to Medford and towed our van to our preferred mechanics shop here in town. We are grateful for their help and impressed with their amazing service all the way around! Thank you all for helping us out of a jam yesterday!

Was told of I wasn't there before 5 it would cost another $95 to get their vehicle out. Actually cheaper to pay another day storage of $75. They get you comong and going. Receptionist was friendly.
I would never use Affordable Tow & Auto Care again. Their business practices end up being DECEPTIVE to the customer because they do not engage in best customer service practices. I and my boyfriend needed to move items from a storage facility in Oakland, CA to Brookings, OR. So my boyfriend was pleased to learn of Affordable Tow & Auto Care's "deal" whereby the customer pays $89 per day and does not pay a per mile charge. I personally was listening in on the phone when he asked the Affordable Tow & Auto Care employee (Eliza or Elisa) about the $89/per day deal . He SPECIFICALLY ASKED "Okay, and what is the PER MILE CHARGE." Elisa (Eliza?) said "Oh, there is NO PER MILE CHARGE" with the $89 per day deal.
Based on this he made a reservation. When we arrived at Affordable Tow & Auto Care he AGAIN asked Elisa in person to make sure that he had the details of the promotion correct before he handed over his credit card and we drove to Oakland with the U-Haul van. Elisa again repeated her previous answer. Elisa, while writing up the contract asked how many miles we were going. My boyfriend responded 800 miles. Elisa NEVER SAID a word such as "Well, you know the FREE mileage is ONLY for the FIRST 100 miles".
When we returned the U-Haul and checked out it was only then that Elisa told my boyfriend that the "no per mile charge" was ONLY for the FIRST 100 MILES. My boyfriend complained that this fact was not verbalized to him when he called on the phone or when he asked her in person when we showed up to get the U-Haul. Her answer was something like "Well, the whole time I've worked for U-Haul these charges have been standard.
The Marketing Executive Assistant for Affordable Tow & Auto Care is Ms. Holly Rivera. I really hope Ms. Rivera can give guidance to Elisa on best customer service practices. Elisa was a very pleasant employee, but when my boyfriend asked her on the phone what the per mile charge was, best customer service practices dictate that she should have said "there is no per mile charge for the FIRST 100 MILES". Instead she said "Oh, there is no per mile charge". When my boyfriend told her in person that the distance was going to be 800 miles, best customer practices dictate that at that time she should have made sure to say that the free mileage was only for the first 100 miles BEFORE handing my boyfriend the contract to sign.
It is important to make sure the customer understands all charges and fees. It is important that the charges and fees spoken verbally to the customer are consistent with what the paperwork says the customer will be charged. In this aspect of customer service Affordable Tow & Auto Care FAILED.
Update your business hours! Very unprofessional. Scheduled a trailer pickup here on Saturday, 40 miles from my home, to show up and find they are not even open. Please update your hours. Thank God D&G storage was open and willing to help me out.
My truck broke down on HWY 199. Cell service was spotty. Was able to make contact with Affordable Tow. They were willing to take my credit card number over the phone and tow my vehicle without me even being there (I had to get a friend over to Medford and we we took another car). I would recommend Affordable Tow and now have their contact information programmed into my phone. Great service! Thanks guys!
