I was driving through Gridley, coming from Sacramento when my check engine light started flashing and my car started to break down. I swung by this place and they were so helpful and fast! I recommend.
Our car broke down as we got gas in Gridley, we rolled into the shop here and Mohammad went above and beyond to help us get back on the road. Honest, fair prices, didn't try to over sell us on unnecessary tune ups or fixes - just fixed our water pump issue and we were on our way. So grateful to have found him and his shop, top tier service and truly honest mechanic. Highly recommend!
Just left this place and went in for an oil change I was told it was going to be 30 mins. I came back after 30 mins and had to wait another hour. Which I thought was odd. Then I over hear the people working on the car talking about the water pump and how it was leaking. They finally came and asked if the pump was leaking water before I came in I said no I went in for a oil change there was no water leaking. It was obvious something had happened while the car was in their possession. They denied it and said it wasn't there fault. Really unfortunate take responsibility for your work. We won't be going back nor will my family members. Be aware. Now I'll be going to Ford for them to fix their mistake.
Was 15min. late for a Sat. appt. @ Smog Inspectors in Chico & they couldn't fit me in. Went here, wow, Suleiman & Darren were quick & efficient with my 99 BMW M Coupe. Got coffee @ Huckleberry's across the street, done when I returned. Saved to my Faves.
My car has had a lot of problems lately, in and out of the shop for about 4 months for different reasons. Mohammad & Darren have been awesome everytime, Taking the extra steps necessary to help diagnose and fix the problems my car has been having. They are very very nice and are always willing to help, & they are trustworthy and honest which can be hard to come by these days. This is the only place I will take my car. I went to get new tires for my daughters car. Muhammad is the nicest person. He offered to drop us off back at work. The price was fair and he was so kind during the entire process. I highly recommend him and his business.
I took my car in after it kept overheating on me, it was diagnosed that same day and repaired by the next day! 100% recommend this place, great customer service and very reliable!
Ashamed, this please calls them self and auto repair , took my truck in to get looked at because it kept dying on me, and the owner didn't even want to look at it. He refused me before even knowing what was wrong with it. That’s a sorry excuse for customer service.
These guys are wonderful. Been using them since I moved out here. Never lie to me or try to overprice things. I had a noise from my vehicle and it was just something loose. They fixed it for no charge.

They're just a really great group of guys. Always take care of me and my cars. Reasonable prices and they find other options to save you money on repairs. Always go here for my repairs and smogs.
I can not recommend this business enough. They kept me up to date on the progress they were making. I ended up paying less than the quoted price. They will always have my business when I am in need of a smog, oil change, or repair. If you need help with your vehicle, these are the guys you go to!!
The son helped me understand what was wrong with my vehicle, and was able to get a part quickly and able to complete the repair very efficiently! Coming here if I ever need any repair or smog! Best in town!!
I was in a predicament and needed my van fixed for work, I had saw a cylinder misfiring and found out it was under my ignition manifold and so I did it myself and that was a lot of work and it ran smooth for awhile then misfired again.
Go forward a little bit ended up looking around and saw a lot of great reviews for this small auto repair shop and they did so much work that as I knew what it was they were doing blessed me greatly.
The staff Sulamon the owner (hope I spelled that right) his son and Steven were wonderful and I would and have absolutely recommended Gridley Smog & Auto repair. Well priced and super friendly, if your wondering whether or not to take your car to get fixed here rest assured you are putting your car in good hands.

Came in for a smog and had no issues dealing with anyone working here. Great price and friendly staff!! Would recommend this shop to anyone if you are in the Gridley area or any surrounding town.
