Charged me $80 to tell me they couldn’t figure out what’s wrong with my car because the exhaust is modified. It’s a boost leak, I know it’s a boost leak, just not where the boost leak is. Don’t need a MAF sensor in the down pipe to figure that out. Feels incredibly scummy to charge me to tell me they didn’t want to figure out the issue.
I took my car to get a quote on some damage to my car. I guess they didn't want to do it because they took photos and said they'd get back to me within a few days with pricing. A week later of to a text saying I'd get a quote soon, and it has now been 3 weeks with no contact.
I was over quoted and oversold at Mercedes in Scottsdale. So I decided to get my Mercedes done when I moved back to Arkansas! I went to Donnie’s the guys were great and turns out my brakes are great and Mercedes over quoted me. I’ll be a lifetime customer!

Late for work) they had my car for several hours. After I noticed, it was close to closing time And I haven’t received a call from them , I decided to call them and the representative advise me that they didn’t have time to look at my car today to come and pick it up. HUGE INCONVENIENCE! Not only did I drive 30 minutes and had to catch a ride to work I also had to catch a ride back to the shop. I was referred to them by a friend and she also has a complaint that her check engine light is back on one day after paying $1600 for service.
They're ok went there to have new light bulbs installed and headlight adjusted. Headlights nit properly aligned. I don't believe my new bulbs we installed. I bought quartz halogen bulbs, which are super bright. Lights look the same
Don't come here unless you want to pay $180 for them to tell you nothing is wrong with your vehicle and said vehicle overheats and shuts off not even 2 miles down the road when you leave, also they do not service transmissions with 130,000 miles on it but they won't let you know that until you've dropped it off already and proceed to drive your car around when I made them aware there was a leak of some sort and they can't find anything wrong with my car. Terrible service!!!!!!!!!
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!! My husband took his VW Tiguan for an oil change and tire rotation yesterday. They said they did a full inspection. On his way home from Donnie’s, his alternator belt broke! He called this morning and they confirmed that they checked the belts (clearly this was a lie, or else they would have found the worn belt before it broke). When he told them the alternator belt broke after leaving, they said they would fix it for free. Well, they charged him over $120 for labor on a $25 part. They said he could get the part for free and just pay labor. He agreed, but on the receipt, they still changed for the part!!!! When he called to talk to the manager, the manager was combative, rude, and did not provide a refund or any real resolution. He only offered a discount on our next service, but we will not be returning since it was such a terrible experience. I honestly think they sabotaged the belt during the first inspection yesterday so that we’d have to go back today and they’d get more money from us.
Excellent service at an affordable price
I am impressed at the professionalism of office and mechanical staff at Donnie’s. Their prices are reasonable making it affordable. I have enjoyed superb customer service here. The number of luxury vehicles that are brought here for service and repair is testament to the quality of their workmanship. I highly recommend this place to any auto owner for a professional job at an affordable price.

I scheduled well in advance. Donnies did research on my car before arrival and assessed the car quickly. Chondee was courteous and professional and kept me informed of their assessment and order lead-time on parts. She briefed me on the options and costs of each and provided repair time for each option. They performed the repairs faster than expected by a full day. The costs were far less than similar repairs that I had done at a Mercedes Dealership. Very pleased with the quality and experience. Will definitely use them next time I have a problem.
Personalized service and professionals with lots of experience to know how to repair your vehicle. They solved a problem on my Mercedes Benz Sprinter 3500 that I couldn't find anyone else to fix.
All I can say is Thank you Thank you Donnie’s.. I was pleased with the price and professional service. I’m a quirky person and they always matched my energy. This is the first time I’ve ever took my baby there for service. I called and was to come in that same day. They diagnosed my baby and got her back in the slab. Todd thank you he told me what the problem was and ordered the rotors and break pads. He got them next day and I went to pick my baby up. They close at 5:30 and and Todd offered to stay until I got there. My baby was in great hands so you know I went the next day.
Not impressed, took a Maserati here for blinking battery light. They have me an early morning appointment so it could be seen that day. No communication, called next day they said they needed to keep another day to get to it. 3 days after was told I had appointment. When i explained i had a rental for time I was told, was told they don't do appointment so it's whenever they get to it. I had to call again the next day to learn it was ready. Almost $800 bill for battery replacement on a car with 30k miles on top of paying for rental car. Came to pick up vehicle and light still on!!!
I was here 2 months ago for a blow out. It was replaced with around a $40 used tire, and that was great. When I drove home I ended up coming back a few hours later because the car didn’t feel right, and when they checked behind the person that replaced it 3 lug nuts were loose, and I was going to hit the interstate.
Heads up. Donnie's charges a $160 diagnostic to look at your vehicle in order to repair it. I know exactly what is wrong with my car, it needs a new water pump, but they would not fix it unless they charged the $160 first. They told me that everyone in town charges this, which is not true.
Absolutely the only place in Central Arkansas that I trust to work on my 100 series 2004 Land Cruiser! From Donnie and the guys in the shop to the kind folks in the office, they are upfront & thorough with their assessment of any problems & their quote is accurate & fair.
I have taken my car here a couple of times before and have always had a great experience with customer service and everyone being very nice. However, I called earlier today to ask a very straight forward question which was not only NOT answered, but met with an extremely rude and condescending tone. I didn’t get the name of the man on the phone, but he was unbelievably (and unwarrantedly) rude to me. It was really bizarre to me to hear someone who I’m trying to give my money to for a service be so discourteous. I was really just too stunned by the whole situation to say anything about it to him directly, but I called back and told another lady about my experience. Though she was very nice and helpful, no one even apologized to me about this man’s behavior towards me on the phone; “well it’s a monday, you never know what people are gonna be like.” Would consider coming back here, but would certainly need to see an improvement on customer service.
Do not take your vehicle here. I brought my Audi here in July and ended up costing myself a lot of wasted time and money with 3 trips back and forth because they couldnt fix the problem the first time. Now, Im currently trying to get an oil change and can't because Donnie's stripped the bolt on the oil pan and cross threaded it. Again, its going to cost a lot to have replaced/fixed. The last time I spoke with Donnie himself, he told me "that's what I get for having an audi because they are expensive." I will never let Donnies touch my car again. He does not care about his work or customers.
Don't trust these people. I took a van in needing an alternator and a driver's door lock. I received it with those items fixed, and two broken sliding doors. I told them within the hour, took it back in, another day, they told me one door was a blown fuse the other a blown motor. They broke the doors. Refused to fix them. The owner is ignoring me. Do not waste your time or money at Donnie's Foreign Car Service.
Edit: owner called me. If I could prove the door worked one minute before I dropped off the vehicle, then I'd have a case. No proof, no help. I asked, do we have to do a full walkaround of every single feature that works so we know if you broke anything? He asked "are we?" Don't risk it. He's been in this situation before and knows how to prep for small claims court.
Edit 2: the owner accused me of trying to get free repairs. Projecting his values onto me.
The icing: I paid their high price for an oil change, trying to build some goodwill with what I thought would be my new shop. Oh well.
My first time at Donnie’s but sure won’t be my last. These guys were outstanding. In the middle of a monster thunderstorm and without power the tech kept right on working and completed my job. They earned my business in one afternoon.
My daughter was over charged at least 700
Was told her part fuel pump that she took into be replaced was the incorrect part number. I worked as a Manager for Autozone and cross referenced the part number, and in fact they are the same.
The vehicle had stopped on the hwy with my daughter in it. We had it towed to Donnie’s. Because she worked in the area. They put an additional fee of 140 dollars BC the truck quit on them while driving it…..well we knew that ..that’s why we towed it there. Then they turned around and charged 500 for the same pump. I will attach my evidence ….

I gave my Audi for alignment and TPMS and was some issues with engine light on.
None of the things they were able to fix and just gave my car back saying its all related to check engine light and we cant fix.
I don’t know if there engineers are really qualified at all.
Same thing I gave it to local mechanic near to my place and he fixed the alignment without any issues and cheaper than that
And for TPMS I gave it to Sam’s Club and they just fixed it.
Only thing remain is check engine light which I am sure I will find a solution but never gonna come back or recommend anyone to go to Donnie’s
Took my 2009 Subaru Tribeca to Donnie's for valve cover gasket and rack and pinion. They were very professional and quoted me almost a thousand dollars less than my regular mechanic told me it would cost. The work was done within a good amount of time and my car ran so much better after the work was completed. I am very happy.
Had some problems with my 94' Bronco and an oil leak. Took it in the first time and was told it was fixed. When driving home my engine started to smoke - I pulled over and there wasn't any coolant. Turns out the bottom hose wasn't connected; they mentioned it might have been from the lift. I took the car home and noticed the leak was still in the exact same spot so brought it back. About 2-months later (car still in shop) I get a call that its ready. At this point no one ever called to confirm what work was being done or how much it was going to cost. When entering the store I was told it would be around $4K (already about $1K into the project) and I notified them that I was never informed on what was being done or the cost involved and if I would have known it was that much, I could have just purchased a brand new engine. Because of this we split the difference but the oil leaks still remains to this day. I appreciate the help they tried to offer but based on results, I will not bring my car back to Donnies.
Priced lifting my truck with Donnie’s and a few others. They had the best price. Also, when talking to Forest, you could tell he knew what he was talking about. Dropped the truck off at 7:30 and picked it up at 5! They did a great job! Highly recommend these guys.
I took a vehicle to Donnie's to address an issue. This issue was presented to me as fixed a few days later, at a bill of over $500. It was not, so I returned the car to Donnie's a few days later. They kept it, and after a few days said they could not fix the issue. When I brought up the fact that I had paid for work to be done, they said that the car needed the work that they had completed (which is neither here nor there, as that's not the issue I requested to be fixed). So I picked up my car unrepaired, found another shop who located the issue and fixed it. It was about 30% of what Donnie's charged me to not fix my issue. I would encourage you to continue your search on finding an honest and skilled shop, as Donnie's is not it per my experience.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough! They are reasonably priced and you don't have to be a car expert as they've proven to be trust worthy time and again.
We have brought several makes of car in over the years and have had the same excellent service every single time.
We even purchased a vehicle through Donnie and have been very pleased with it.

They did repair work on my car and didn't use certified parts and when they were done, the car was leaking oil because they didn't make the repair properly! I took the car back and requested they show me proof of part purchase (they refused) and to fix the leak. They claimed there was no leak (another mechanic verified it was STILL leaking oil). When I contacted the owner, he was dismissive and said they fixed the problem when they didn't. I paid over $700 and I was treated terribly by their customer service.
I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. I used them for years and I am horrified at my experience. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Truly terrible business!
They've been my go-to service place since my first vehicle... a mustang. Then they replaced the engine on my volvo after I hit a pot hole. Then I got a BMW, they did my service on that! Then my 4runner. They are always so quick and helpful. They don't just do foreign cars... They can work on anything and do a great job! Thanks Donnie and team!
