Bobby, who works the counter, was borderline rude. I bought a part and I was inspecting for cracks or broken guide-studs, and he acted insulted. He was friendly finding the part, but after I paid & picked up the part, he got his money & forgot about "friendliness".

Henry from Aviation Auto, was very helpful and courteous. However, the engine I bought from them proved to be defective and not what was described. It was advertised to be a Grade A running engine, but when it arrived I pulled the oil pan and checked the rod bearings before installing it in my truck. The bearings where heavily worn and some of them had spun. Because I pulled the oil pan (standard procedure to do on a used engine in my opinion) they told me I voided the warranty, and refused to make things right. I am very disappointed to say the least, and can't quite understand how they can do business in this fashion.

I called from North Phoenix to this Tucson salvage yard and ordered a pair of brake calipers from Henry because there weren't any available near me. I specifically asked if the calipers were 4 the piston version because I didn't want to drive over 2 hours for the 2 piston version. Henry verified they were the ones I wanted. He told me there would be a core charge, (which is ridiculous at a junk yard, but that's not why I'm here) so I told him I'll remove mine before driving down. He asked why I'm buying these brake calipers and I told him they are a bolt on to the old Chevy trucks. --- Now after driving over 2 hours I walk in and the first thing Henry does is says I'm not taking your old calipers as a core and wants to charge me an additional $50.00. I argued with him and because he was completely in the wrong he reduced the charge to $30.00. Because my truck is inoperable and I drove so far to get these I paid it and told Henry I would leave a review. He didn't care about that any more than he cared about how customers feel about their service. Go elsewhere if you have any other choice, and consider not going if it is the last place on earth.

I gave 3 stars because on the positive side they had a rim I needed that literally 14 other places did not. The negative is they arent very pleasant and spend waaaaaay more time with customers on the phone than at the counter. They need to hire someone to help. Someone a Lil friendlier to be nice

Purchased a starter. They POWER WASHED IT (electrical component) and I told them I was taking it to get checked at AutoZone to confirm it worked. Bobby then told me not to get it tested and refunded my part yelling he could sell it to someone else. This is the second time I’ve tried with this company and the service is getting worse and worse. Plenty of other yards in the area with quality parts, better rates, and better service. DONT SHOP HERE.

Professional and courteous. I bought a truck bed for them and upon pickup, Henry pointed out damage that was unseen and deducted $100 from original quoted price and he even went out of his way to find another part for me that they didn’t have in stock from another local salvage yard and even picked it up for me for next pickup along with the bed! Outstanding customer service and I have no problem driving the 75 miles from my house to do business with them again! HIGHLY RECOMMEND....

My truck was relieved of its spare somewhere along the line. It turned out to be a hard thing to replace. Even the car dealer said he has 150 of them on back order. I could find after-market ones but was reluctant because I tow a heavy trailer and have needed that spare. I Googled the Mopar part number specifying “used” and found the Arizona Automobile Recycler Association. On that website I gave my VIN and specified “wheel”. Up popped Aviation Auto Salvage and they showed one OEM wheel available. So, first thing Monday morning I gave them a call and talked to Henry. He verified that the wheel I needed was in stock and that he would get it right out UPS so I could have it the next day. As promised, it arrived this afternoon, Tuesday. The wheel is exactly as described on the website, and the price was right even including the shipping. Based on this transaction I will definitely go to Aviation Auto Salvage and Henry for my future automotive needs.

I have been to this shyster run shack one time before and was not impressed with the "pay me first, come back another day for your part" attitude. After that I figured I had no use for them. Then, later in the year, I needed a part that I could not find anywhere else. Obviously I could have ordered it from another yard but I was attempting to get my vehicle up and running that day. So I called them and "Bobby" explained that he did in fact have this part "in stock". and to bring my core in with me. No mention that their part was still in the vehicle and ,as he told my wife who went to get the part, had to be "pulled in to remove". He kept insisting that he told me this over the phone. Sorry Bobby...my memory is not that bad yet. So my wife was told the next day the part would be available by 11:30. Now there were reasons we wanted it that day and not the next. One was my wife was busy(I am at work) and so when she was contacted about the part she could not just run up and get it. Hey guys, people have lives and schedules. The other was the vehicle was needed sooner than later. When my son went to pick it up he said the guy(not sure who) was irritated we were not there when he called. Get over it. A couple small parts we needed were not left on the part we got from them...I just went to Auto Parts store and bought them. I was sure if I went back to Aviation Auto they would need a new front window on their office as that is where that part would have been returned. In short, stay away. There are good auto salvage yards in Tucson that have employees and owners that want your return business. Not just your one time money. , ABC is one of them.

I need a heater/ac controller, they brought 2 of them that was bad and then I ask for another and they told me I was doing something wrong. They said they would pick up the part and refund me my money. They picked up the part, didn't offer any receipt for the part and I never got refund or credit. I went to another yard, bought a controller, install it and it worked with no problems. I have had problems in the pass with engine and transmission warranties with them. I should have know better to do business with them.

I contacted this company to purchase a part and was unable to purchase any part because my ship to address and billing address is different like thousands of professional Americans..... Go figure ! Not only was that deal breaker. I was informed that this company did not test or could not supply my company with any of the test results that they claim on their front web page they do. "We test and inspect all part" well not the part I plan to purchase. I spoke with higher management and they are Rude Rude Rude.... Got hung up on! They are not in the business of customer service and have horrible policies that hinder and impede normal tax paying client to shop their. They ask and demand you allow them to make copies of your drivers licence on any part over a certain amount. This is really dated in today's business world. They claim that the bank will not process a transaction with an authorization form and a driver licence.... This is bull... Horrible problem and troubleshooting customer service management. I bought from another place and encourage the same..... Rating Zero not a good place to do business. " A real crappy job management.

I had called to have my part pulled and that i was coming down . when i arrived i waited ...waited...waited. the picker came in and when i asked if he had my part he didnt know what i was talking about, so i waited another 30 min.. and they didnt have my part. Ok but the picker tried to fix my part and it looks acceptable for reuse . Bad service on the business's part, props for the picker

keep your eyes open when you are ordering parts from this place. I have order TRANSMISSION and told me hAVE 67000 MILES Then I found out has 267000 Miles after I checked car fax. THE TRANSMISSION WAS BAD AND WHEN I CALLED THEM TO TELL THEM ABOUT BAD TRANSMISSION WHICH WAS NOT SHIFTING AFTER MY MECHANIC INSTALL IT, THEY WERE LAGUHING AND TOLD ME BIG DEAL.
