The constant lies, being charged for work never completed and the poor workmanship that was preformed. Not to mention a refusal to honor warranty on work performed as well as a number of other complaints... Would not recommend at all. I actually think they are worse than Horne and thats saying alot

I am so happy that my friend referred me to this Repair shop. Harris automotive did an amazing job at a very low price. In a very timely manner. And customer service was great. I recommend them to anybody that needs repairs done on their vehicles

Was camping nearby and had my vehicle's "service engine soon" light come on. As recommended by another service center, I drove my vehicle to Harris Automotive for a consultation the Thursday morning before Labor Day weekend. I was greeted by customer service representative Jamie shortly after entering the office and customer lounge area (comfy sofas!). After listening to my explanation of the issue, Jamie related her knowledge, understanding, and potential solutions to get my vehicle "back on the road." She also got me on their schedule for the next day (Friday before Labor Day) and gave me an appointment reminder with the date, time, and her name in the back side of their business card. The resulting inspection revealed two potential issues, a bad injector and an electrical communications issue. I asked that they focus on the communications issue first, which they seemed more than happy to do. After the suspect part (injector wiring harness) was removed and visually inspected, Jamie brought it out to the customer lounge to show me for a visual confirmation. I asked that they continue to focus on the communications issue, and Jamie clearly and professionally explained to me that additional labor costs could be incurred if replacing the wiring harness did not resolve the issue and that the valve cover would need to be removed again if an injector indeed required replacement. I accepted the risk, and Jamie seemed more than happy to oblige. As it turned out, the communications issue from a bad wiring harness was 100% of the problem, and I gott give credit to the people at Harris for having been committed to working with me as a customer, and also together as a team, to efficiently and effectively solve my vehicle issue. I recently had my Jeep worked on at Harris Automotive and was very impressed. Kayla was friendly and helpful from the start. Dallas did a solid job on the repairs—accurate, thorough, and efficient. Dan, the owner, runs a great shop. I used their overnight lockbox to drop off my keys after AAA towed my vehicle, and they started working on it first thing the next morning. Communication was clear throughout the process, and their pricing was fair. If you need honest, reliable automotive work in Show Low, this is the place to go.

We had our 2019 Expedition in for a coolant leak diagnostic. They found that the leak was coming from a cracked thermostat housing and gave me an estimate to repair it. Well, I ended up deciding to try and tackle it myself, so I went to pick the vehicle up. When I got there, I was told that there had been a little mixup in the shop and that my car had been repaired already! Naturally, i was a little shocked, but I was told I wasn't being charged for their error. In fact, they were apologizing to me! Wow. They could've tried to pressure me into paying them, or at least pay for the parts, but they didn't. I paid a little for some labor and the new coolant they put in, but otherwise, I drove away in a completely fixed car. That ordeal gave me confidence to bring my vehicles back to Harris for future repairs, knowing they have the integrity and honesty to take care of me even at cost to themselves. I'm sure that's a very rare instance of wires being crossed from the office to the shop, but accepting it and not trying to get around it was very impressive to me.

I am extremely pleased with the Service and professionalism I experienced at Harris Automotive! I have had trouble finding anyone locally to work on my car, the nearest dealer is in Albuquerque. Their Personable staff got my car in scanned and out in less than 2hrs and walked me through the process. It was a very positive experience, I will be going back there!

Look I am a guy who never takes my cars to a shop. I have had 1 too many bad experiences with shops trying to take advantage of me and then the parts break again a month later and making it impossible for them to fix their mistakes. I then started working on my own vehicles because then I knew what was being done was being done correctly. With that being said, I had a power steering issue on my Chevy Malibu about 3 months ago. I being the intuitive person I am researched what and how to fix what happened. Let’s just say, this was going to not be easy and my friend’s recommended these guys to work on it. They had the same trouble I was scared of, ordering different sensors and none of them working correctly until after a week it was running good as new. They then helped me out with the cost because they had it for longer than they intended and it was amazing how communicative they were with me every step of the way. After 2 months the worst happened and the part failed again and my power steering went out. They told me to bring it in and they will take care of the situation and make sure it was all under warranty. Before I knew it I had my car back and working again. They have a great staff and are very reasonable and good at explaining everything ?? Highly recommend from a machanic skeptic ??

Super nice and honest people. Not great about communicating or calling/texting back when they say they will or ever really. You have to make a point of following up yourself but overall good shop though.

Absolutely blown away by the transparency and timely service. After my oil change, they showed me everything that I need to look out for in the future saving me a tremendous amount of time and headache. Could not recommend them more!

Harris Automotive is the best! My truck broke down and I had to leave town. The truck got delivered and was diagnosed and fixed within 24 hours. I highly recommend Harris Automotive to everyone. If I break down in Show Low again, I know who I will call.

The best full service automotive shop I’ve been to ever. I brought my truck In expecting an expensive repair, turns out it was a very easy fix. They could have charged me way more. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and honest people. I will go here for all of my automotive needs going forward.

Harris automotive is an amazing auto shop. The owner, Sammy Harris, is a very trustworthy man. He knows his stuff. I got my grandpas old truck and that’s the only place I take it to.

Great front women counter and service repair technicians are extremely important. Reviewed my steering alignment requirements and are adjusted. I'll make sure my truck will be sufficient for tires wear viability.

Took my vehicle to have transmission leaks fixed, also had ck engine light, vsc light on. Leaks were fixed said they could not duplicate lights. Was 7 miles from repair facility lights back on. Returned with lights on and was running bad, loss of power. They repaired chewed wires and said that seemed to fix the light problem. Less than 5 miles up the road all lights back on.That was on 4/5/23 Then got a quote for repair of ck engine light issue. On 4/18 raised hood of my vehicle and found that they had not put the engine cover back on my vehicle! Finally found it in corner of shop! "Stop by and we will put it back on for you". I will be picking up engine cover and replacing it myself! I do not recommend them to anyone. I feel my concerns were not fully addressed and in the process not fully fixed. Forgetting to put parts back on vehicle shows a rush to hurry and push it thru.

Harris Automotive is a great place for auto repair. Jamie is awesome and I want to thank the owner for his integrity. He replaced my engine twice to get me on the road. Harris is a good and fair business. I highly recommend it to anyone.

I appreciate their integrity. I bring both of my cars – foreign and domestic- and now even some of my family members. They do not do the up-sell game and repair just what needs to be repaired. They are fair in their hourly rate, in contrast to some of the other local garages. Their front staff is friendly and always willing to find answers to questions. It is nice to see quality mechanics in a rural community.

I burnt out my breaks driving through the mountains from Phoenix. Harris Automotive was the first company I called when I finally got to Show Low. They fit me into their busy schedule and told me to bring back my car at 8am the next morning. They fixed the breaks and caliber and it was ready by 11am. We strayed at the motel 6, 10 min walk away. I can now safely continue my family roadtrip. Thank you!! Also, the service was incredibly friendly and helpful. Jamie is a really nice person with a sweet personality. It was great to be treated with such great service and get a thorough explanation even though I know nothing about cars. Well, I know a little more now :)

Two weeks ago today, while my husband and children were on their way home to New Mexico, our family vehicle broke down in Show Low. Thankfully, he was able to park it in a safe area. Earlier this week I called around town at various auto repair shops to get quotes on a new alternator and the total estimated cost including labor. At the end of the day, I called back to Harris Automotive to schedule an appointment for today. We drove about 4hrs this morning to get to Show Low, call for a tow to get our vehicle into the shop. Jamie was amazing both when I called for the appointment and today! She went above and beyond to help us with the replacement, and not to mention, we also needed to replace our battery. Not only did she go above and beyond to help us out, the mechanics were super friendly, helpful, and patient in getting the repairs done. Before the tow guy even put the car down, the mechanics were ready to get to work to ensure that we got our vehicle repaired immediately. We are super thankful to such a great group of friendly and amazing customer service from the employees at Harris Automotive. I highly recommend them. Also, after calling around town, they are by far the best not only in service but also their labor cost is much more affordable. Our overall quote was lower from the other shops and even the dealership! Thank you so much y'all! We made it back to New Mexico with no problems! ?

I don't post reviews very often, but thought that Harris Automotive deserved one. I have always done work on my vehicles, from oil changes to engine rebuilds. I have never trusted repair shops after having been burnt a few times. Harris Automotive has changed my view. I moved to a new town (Show Low) and found myself in need of a new transmission. Not having my own garage or tools was forced to use a local repair shop. Harris automotive was friendly and very reasonable. I never felt that I was being taken advantage of. They have earned my business and I will recommend them to anyone.

My family and I went up to Pinetop for a pre-Christmas vacation and had car problems the day before we were supposed to leave back to Tucson. A waitress recommended Harris Automotive and we were definitely not disappointed. Not only did they get us in right away (and we came in an hour before closing), but we were given the best customer service I've ever experienced in this type of business. Our little girls were given chocolates to ease the pain of waiting and they gave us a really great deal on the work they did ;) Oh, and of course the work they did was great. We truly appreciated your generosity and help with our SUV. Hope you all had a wonderful holiday!
