I had them rebuild my transmission when i first received the truck back the speedo did not work and the owner said he had no idea why it wasn't working so I took my truck to a dealer and the said it had the wrong output shaft. So I then called them again and he said to bring it down and made me pay an additional charge for the output shaft witch should have been addressed at the time of the rebuild. I have to spend extra money on checking it checked at a dealer and replace the speed sensor. So after that I drove the truck about 5 times and it started acting up and would redline before it would go into the next gear and would not go into overdrive. So i took it back to them and he checked my truck and said the valve body had got stuck and he also told me he wanted to change my deep dish oil pan back to a stock one because he was not able to find a filter for the deep dish then later told me that on the original rebuild he used the wrong filter and just warped a wire to hold it and he went on to say he didn't want to do that again. So two days later the same thing happened I took it back and he kept it for a week and i just got it back this last time on 10/24/2017 and it is still doing the same thing. I also wanted to add I had to bug him every time for updates and he also kept my truck every time from 3 days to a week. A I had to drop my truck off every time and take an uber back to work. It is my only truck and my only form of transportation so it puts me in a spot to have to take it to him and he keeps it for a week and i get it back and it doesn't work again!
I looked around for awesome place to get my suburban 454 transmission fix and I found Los Amigos. Everywhere else quoted me at $1600 to $2200 for my transmission and I paid less than 1200 at Los Amigos.
