This is the worst company that could possibly exist. The employees who work here don’t understand at all what they’re doing or where.

I haven't been to this location but I'm sure it's a great scrap yard. My only problem with them is the hours of operation... It's misleading. They not open Sundays despite what's posted on Google. False advertising.

Had some rims I wanted off my patio Max was very friendly and helpful definitely coming here for all my recycling needs

The pay schedule for the operators and personnel that work in the yard. Do not match the rest of Phoenix Arizona underpaid. By 2 dollars and $3. Across-the-board. Very disappointing. But I do like the job.

Constantly polluting the nearby neighborhoods with what I assume is toxic smoke. I have a hard time believing they are complying with air quality codes.

As far as recycling centers go this one is as good as any. It is great when everything is working and the line isn’t out to the street lol.

Since new ownership, I have had issue with the way they are running things. I went in to drop off some metal, they took it in, they weighed it out and they took it away, I grab my sheet and proceed to the payment office. It was 9am and they said they still didnt have a price for metal, so they asked me to come back. Ok cool whatever. Came again with a metal bin full of sheet metal(drops from fabrication) about 1400lbs worth, we didnt pay attention but they had put it down as "tin" we only got like $80 which I thought was way low. JUST MAKE SURE YOU CHECK WHAT METAL THEY PUT ON THE SHEET. We got screwed.

I don’t always recycle just because. I need the money, but sometime the income is critical to me. I think it’s fair to say that I have more confidence is being treated fair on a consistent basis at AIM than I ever have in my 40+ years I’ve been recycling. I used to recycle metal at this location because is was convenient. Since Aim took over, I go there because I like the people, I like how they do business, and I like that I never leave feeling like something wasn’t really that about that transaction. They have changed the reputation of that yard and I’m happy to say I’ve watched it happen since day 1.

Great people here. ( From Barry, Arron, Antonio and the ladies in the office )Very helpful and professional. & Ethan he won't give you any BS he will tell you how it is, what it is, how much it is, and the way it is. The pricing is very competitive. The best place to bring in your scrap.

This is the absolute best place to take your recycling to. The staff is great for from the time you enter the facility to the end. Great pricing and service.

This place is too loud at night time 1:09 am and can't get any sleep there work all day and Al night to to much noise coming from that place I got to get up early to work and I i hear all night is metal moving around I hope they fix that

They are very difficult to work with and have over complicated scrapping metal. No direction, assistance, or instructions, they just let you wonder around.

I'm a very small time scrapper and I always feel like I'm treated well and fairly at Liberty. I highly recommend.

It's embarrassing and frustrating anytime anyone runs out of gas but to make it worse I ran out of gas JUST PAST the weigh in area. Meaning that I was now blocking dozens of bigger trucks from completing their task. An employee was kind enough to bring over a gas can and give me some gas and even radioed for me to go in front of all the people whom I had just blocked moments before and get rid of my load so I could make it to a gas station. I even had a different helping me offload as to expedite the process. They went above and beyond and I really appreciate what they did for me.

I was paid $48 for 100lbs of scrap #12 #10 copper wire. That's the lowest I've ever received. Really $.48 A pound. What a rip off. I'll be taking my business elsewhere, I suggest you do the same.

One of the only places to take complete truck. Good experience and fair price with decent staff to walk you threw.

I had never sold scrap before today, so I didn't know exactly what to expect. Anyway, the staff were friendly. If you've never sold scrap before, here's how you do it. If you've got it in your car or truck, just drive up onto the scale (wait your turn, of course). It took me a bit of waiting and asking for help to figure that out. The scale operator will give you a receipt. From there, you'll drop your haul wherever the inspector tells you, weigh your car on the way out and hit up the cashier to get paid. Anyway I made a few bucks for dropping off an old dishwasher. We'll worth it!

Honest and friendly. Also after calling around they have the best prices in town.

Frequent explosions/"incidents" at this plant- 3 in six months. Nearby houses are historic and deserve better neighbors.

Nice enough, but misquoted me on the phone and tried to charge double once I got there. They're trick is to luer you in, they guilt you into doing business with them. Surrounded by other scrap yards, im surprised they act this way. Go to Mega Metals, its right down the street.
