A Lifesaver for Classic Cars! Finding an airbag suspension for my 1993 Lincoln Town Car was a nightmare around Casa Grande. I called at least seven different stores, and no one had it, or could even order it quickly. Then I found Penny Pincher Auto Parts in Phoenix. Not only did they have it in stock, but the price was the best I'd heard! Even though it was a bit of a drive from Casa Grande, it was totally worth it. The store was well-organized, the staff was amazing, and I got my car fixed the same day. Highly recommend!
Had to get a part for my son's car & the gentleman who helped us was very nice & took the time to remove a little piece off the old part that we would need to install new part.

First time there. Line situation was a bit confusing. My parts specialist insisted on speaking to me in spanish. I'm not great but I get by. Not upsetting to me but I can see it being an issue for someone lest Latin than I. Otherwise I was able to walk in and get exactly what I needed at a reasonable price.
Worst experience from Daya at this location and the parts I bought didn’t even last for a month wouldn’t recommend coming to this place at all you’re better off ordering your parts from some place else cheap dirty and crowded
Always a good experience, parts are good, if you get a bad one I have never had any issues getting a replacement ( have your receipt ). Friendly staff always helpful. If you go often enough they will recognize you that is always nice when you're not just a person in the crowd.
1st time visit. Building looks small on the outside, kind cramp inside but large where the parts are well aligned amd organize im sure in the abck areas. Parking should be done on the side street. There is parking near the door, but if you notice the picture shown online, you'll see there's not a lot of space, and if you already have problems with parking, don't know how to parallel park or problems getting out of tight space without hitting someone, please just park on the side street. Once you inside it's a bit confusing when you step in the building. HERE'S A TIP for you; 2 options for which line to go to: When you enter, go toward the counter where workers are helping someone then turn right and go to the other side where there's a line if you've called ahead for a part, I believe the sign says WILL CALL, which means, you've called ahead for your part. They will look on the shelf for your name on the slip and go get your part you pay and leave. Although I knew that my part was called, I didn't know that was the procedure. 2nd Option - Once you step in the building, turned right immediately and get into that line. This line is where you initially make your request, a bit longer but it's ok, it gave me time to observe what, how, and why the business is thriving.. Needless to say, even though we called ahead they said they had the part and my waiting over 30 minutes, they couldn't find the part even though the system showed they had 2. So the nice guy, by the way, everyone is nice, kindly sent me to Parts Authority 4 minutes away, another place. That's where they actually order their parts from when they don't have it, well alright, I'll just go straight to the dealer than the middle man for now on. The Parts Authority part was about $.60 cents more but who's counting. Yes, I am, hint Penny Pncher. All in all, the experience was exciting and I learned something new in the car parts world. Where to go for now on. No more Auto Zone where the price is double for sure. At Auto Zone the small part $23, Penny Pincher $12, Parts Authority $13 all places new. HOPE THIS HELPS!
Good selection of parts for many cars. They speak English and Spanish. Very good prices. Sometimes O'Riley will match their prices. If I lived on that side of town, I'd buy all my parts there.
Only issue i had was with the manager during check out.. I swiped my card and she asked if I was using debit or credit , I told her debit. She clearly didnt hear me and clicked credit on her end so she tells me she needs to see my id to verify i was the card holder. My id was in my car so I ran out to get it, came back inside and handed her my id and she asked for the card that I used. I handed her My debit card and she said where is the card you used? You used a credit card and this one here is a debit. I said that is the card I used and she said no its not stop trying to play me for a fool I know the difference between a debit card and a credit card. I said okay print the receipt and check the numbers then because I know what card I used. She proceeded to check the numbers and seen they matched then had nothing else to say. I said since your the manager, you should know a debit card can be used and ran as credit and you should also learn to be a little less rude to customers or at least apologize when your wrong.
Seems like ant electrical part from these guys don't last more than a week if ur lucky. Bought a starter installed it started the first time and that was it. Acted like the battery was dead. Took it back got another one. Same thing. Started 3 times and then died. Every electric part that I've installed from this place is crap never seen any part last more than a week. Truly junk
I made an order over the phone and went to pick it up. Quick and easy even when the place was packed. Their prices are significantly lower than any other auto parts stores.
Place is usually packed lines. Yall need more staff, and more lanes open. Time to hit the big boy side of the industry and get more employees! I hate waiting in lines for more than 20min. Walmart is even faster than yall.
Only my second time in shop, if you don't know you can not tap pay. Made a order here to placed on their ROLL CALL system to avoid the 3 hour line. I was told to come down. I get here no one remembers my call it's 100 people in line and now I have a 3 hour wait. Everywhere I went seems like their prices were high and same, when I called this place, even the for a brand new one way better than all the other places. I will recommend this place to anybody.
Always the best place to find the parts you need. Especially at an amazing price. But you can't fix people attitude when your picking up parts, so many people working with no urgency or should I say lack of customer service.
This place had a great price for my radiator. I only paid $120 for it and it the line moved very quickly. I was also able to call ahead and place the part on hold for pick up. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely continue to come get any parts I may need from Penny Pinchers.
This place is a hidden gem for automotive repair parts, they have stuff in stock cheaper than all other parts houses guaranteed, they have stock of old vehicle parts that would otherwise need to be ordered from anywhere else.
And they also offer warranties, while carrying specialized automotive fluids from good brands like the idemitsu CVTF II transmission fluid for my Subaru CVTF transmission, cheaper than anywhere online too.
They pick up the phone and actually know their stuff, you can call ahead, confirm that they have availability, confirm pricing, and set it up for a will call.
The lines are often long and it's not a quick stop for sure unless you set up a will call, but it is absolutely worth it and a such a boon for those of us who may need parts quick and can't wait for RockAuto or Amazon to deliver.
Always has the parts needed Prices are cheaper than online 99% of the time products are available in store. Customer for over 40 years. Be courteous about how you park. Unlock your vehicle don't expect them to be responsible for your belongings. I personally have never had a problem. I lock my vehicle set the alarm and going inside. Come out to everything being fine. I don't think you're going to be able to repair your vehicle in the parking lot. Be responsible. Like I said a great place. Discounted parts and warranties. Do what we can to keep their prices low.
I was just there yesterday to return a part I didn’t actually need (with the receipt ) and they processed it quickly, no questions asked. The attendants are helpful and friendly. I’ve never had a problem with the parts or service. Parking can sometimes be crammed but they stay busy because they’re reasonable and reputable. It’s best to park on the side instead of in front because there’s more space to park on the side. It’s a rough neighborhood but I’ve never had anyone rush up on me. Just take safety measures, lock your vehicle doors, etc. -Common sense. Most people are just trying to get their parts and are too focused on their car repairs. The long line is worth it but the employees work pretty fast. I definitely recommend this place. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
