I recently purchased some Luscombe lift struts from Arizona Air Salvage and they were spot on. I was a bit nervous about getting them to the UK from the US but it worked fine and having them inspected before purchase was well worth the peace of mind. I would have no hesitation about buying from Arizona Air Salvage again.
I bought a 172 elevator and a shimmy dampner . When the elevator arrived it was totally damaged . According to Johnny it arrived in a different crate than when they shipped it. Which turned out to be false after receiving pictures from shipping company. AAS also charged 500$ for the crate. Shimmy dampner was not in crate. With over $2000 dollars paid out and no help or refund from Arizona Air Salvage, I went to another supplier and got the parts and great service. I don't recommend anyone buying from Arizona Air Salvage. Very disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have purchased a few items from these guys and they have been excellent to work with. The most recent purchase was a gauge that did not work when I installed it. Without any questions or hassle whatsoever, Johnny was able to go out and find another one for me. If he hadn’t been able to find one, I feel confident he would have refunded my money. I look forward to working with them again!
