Please do not take your golf car/ utility cart to get fixed by Dixie battery!! They kept our utility cart for over a month and a half!! We finally just had to go pick it up. Joey has an attitude whenever you talk to him, very unprofessional!! Had we known that they were going to keep it that long and not even bother touching it, we wouldn’t have wasted our time taking it there. Please save yourself from the trouble!! !!
I had to get some Bad Boy Buggy batteries so I went to Dixie Batteries Supply . I had to get 8 batteries for it, and a friend recommended that I go there. They had exactly what I needed at a great price. I had checked on line for prices and they were well below online prices.
Well Dixie battery is a good place to get a battery these batteries isn't nearest good as it is behind the used one but the the prices is right add an equal rate compared to the dollar wise and so I would say Dixie batteries is a little bit outpriced and it's better off to probably buy new
Asked them to change a battery and not use pliers. After paying for two batteries (I needed another), walked outside and the guy had vise grips and pliers on my connectors - rounding them. Said he didn’t have a socket. Took off one connector & ruined the other. Asked him to put the loose connector back on and refund me so I could get to an appointment. They wouldn’t refund me until I threatened to call the police and I started videoing their behavior. They wouldn’t re connect my battery, put my cores back in my truck, one started yelling “you need peace in your life”. Also, wouldn’t help me jump off my dead battery- which was bought from Dixie Battery (I happened to have a jumper) And even more!!!!! All because they couldn’t use a socket on a connector!!!!!! Completely unprofessional idiots. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!!!! DO NOT USE DIXIE BATTERY!!!!!!
I bought an inexpensive battery here in 2020. It lasted longer than the previous two batteries I got at Costco. I drive mostly in short hops, so my batteries last about two years. Recently my battery started giving out, so I started looking for a new one. The auto parts stores were charging high prices like they were the last time I looked, so I came back to Dixie. I mentioned I had bought my current battery from them, and I was told that even though I didn't have the receipt that they would honor the warranty. It was the very end of a prorated warranty, but I still got a discount on a new battery. They even installed the battery for me on the spot. I am impressed.
Mark and his team went above and beyond not only helping my family test and change out our battery but explained there different options and let me choose what worked best for our finances. I was also blown away with the verity of what they had in stock with how bad supply chains are. I will never buy a battery from anywhere else in Tuscaloosa county!
I bought a battery a few months ago. I was having issues with the power on my car. They tested the battery and alternator. Fixed the connection issue I was having at no cost. Friendly and fast service.
Best place in the Tuscaloosa area to go for a car battery!! I was in and out in ten minutes for much cheaper then any chain auto store and had great service. Definitely go to Dixie Battery!!
These folks batteries are junk. And the staff is rude as you can be. I wouldn't buy a watch battery from these clowns. They won't even stand behind the warranty or the product
Very nice people good prices on both new and used batteries of all types including marine batteries. Will install battery for a 5 dollar fee as well and buy old batteries as well. Highly recommended.
Great place to buy a battery but what I didn’t know before I got there is that they charge you to put the battery in that you bought from them I thought if I buy it from you that at least they would installed it for me if I had knew this I would have put it in myself
