Awesome service from Adam at Merkel’s! Friendly, fast, and professional—couldn’t ask for better

Highly recommended! We broke down with our truck and camper being towed. They towed the camper to their lot and truck to Toyota with us and my 3 dogs. Gabe was so kind d as my stress level was so high due to the situation. In speaking with Allison she as very polite and so great to work with. Their lot was convenient and clean. The tow truck was clean and ran great. Made a stressful situation a little easier to deal with!

I needed my suv towed to my home, I didn't have to wait long and the tow truck driver Bobby had a great attitude.

I called merkles for my daughter being broken down 20 miles away from me. Literally 7 min later Bobby showed up in 7 min. And was awesome! Highly recommend.

We hit a deer and called Merkel's. They was to us with inba few minutes to get my car.

Blew the brakes on my h3 during my first time off-roading on USFSR 600-1 and thought I had lost steering out right. It was a great experience over the phone and they had someone sent out right away. They came in a jeep to diagnose the problem and see if they could get a tow truck on the trail. They diagnosed the problem and we realized all I had lost was my brakes, but they could not get a tow truck due to the state of the trail. They guided me out without brakes and when we had finally made it off the trail we got a tow truck to take it to a local auto shop. Didn’t charge me for taking time out of their day to come up the trail and drive me out, and the tow was well priced. Long made short, I met a great man who helped me out of my first off-roading experience and made what could have been a bad story into a great story.

Was nearly killed in a car rack. Luckily the Lord, let me walk away. But then these jerks Charles. $250 to get my work. Tools out and then it wouldn't let me get my alternator that I just put in my truck 2 days prior for the battery. Oh I popped the hood to look. They've done cut the wires to take all of it off

Came to look at a backhoe he had up for sale and he sold it while I was on my way there. I was literally 10 minutes away. Dude is a liar, I confirmed it with him last night what time I would be coming. Also confirmed when I started this morning and he said come ahead. I was also paying two mechanics to come with me to look at it. Don't do business with a liar.

This was the BEST COMPANY GOD HAS GIVEN MAN. I locked my keys in the car off of 280 Dawn a Guy who works for the company cam out in less than Ten minutes and fixed the problem. Thank you Dawn Great Guy.

Very well run business, they have very good response time depending on the high/low rate of calls they are responding to. After having the experience of dealing with them twice in one week, I will definitely be using thus business as my goto if I need vehicle towing in the future. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and I promise you will not regret it whatsoever. Frankie (my tow driver) was absolutely cheerful, respectful, and well mannered. Even though I was having a bad day he was cheerful and made the whole experience alot less stressful to deal with. Thank you Frankie, and Merkel's for being the hero of the day that I needed. They were very kind to dispatch someone immediately when my son's tire blew. Ultimately the issue was resolved right as they arrived, but I appreciate their prompt service regardless!

Had our car stuck in a drain/ditch pipe. Got it out with no cosmetic or engine damage! Amazing service and very nice. We really appreciate this company!

They were very nice on the phone and in person. Got out to me very quickly and were able to get into my locked truck to get the keys out within minutes! Then told me to call my insurance to see about getting reimbursed which had not even occurred to me! He also shared a contract of someone to reach out to about getting a spare key made! Thanks for all the help!

I called on Merkel’s Towing after running over something on the road on Hwy 280 that flattened 2 tires. Bobby from Merkel’s was there quickly to help me out. He towed me from just outside of Alexander city to Toyota in Sylacauga. He was so friendly and helpful. This company is definitely driven on customer service. Thank you!

Merkel's moved my large tool box twice and both times provided excellent service at a great value. The driver (Bobby) was extremely professional and it showed in his attention to detail and care while loading/transporting/unloading my equipment. One of the moves was tricky due to location but you'd never guess by how smooth it went. I would not hesitate for a moment to have them move a car or motorcycle after seeing how well my challenging load was handled.

We were working out of town and needed a wrecker service to pull a piece of equipment out of a bind. We called a local company who never answered the phone. We knew Merkel's would be reliable but didn't want to call them over 45 minutes out of town. We should have known better because they were more than happy to come help us out and were there quickly. Talk about service!

Great service! Had a flat tire and insurance roadside was going to take two hours but Doug came and towed my car to Millers tire shop so I could get my spare put on. He took great care of my car and helped me super quick. Definitely calling them again for service.

Great! Accidentally called the wrong locksmith service and they came and told me that it wasn’t possible to get the truck door unlocked and my best bet was to get a key made and was still charged- finally remembered it was MERKEL that I needed to call, called Mr. Merkel, he came straight out, got my door unlocked, NO KEY HAD TO BE MADE! Thanks Mr. Merkel!! Great service! Very Friendly! Most definitely would recommend him to everyone!!

My car broke down as I was pulling into work. Another company refused to come inside the gate where I work. These guys didn't hesitate. They were quick, nice, took care of my car and charged a reasonable fee. I'd recommend them ahead of anyone else in the area.
