When it was circle k it was great now this new company is terrible, very unfriendly and rude. The small scale is a joke you go over the main scale to weigh in,unload then back to main scale then back around try to cross a line of traffic just to sit for hours because there is no room to park at small scale even if you come early or late they take hour to do it I even had this sit and talk for 40 min before helping me and I know the market changes daily but there prices are way to low compared to other yards and I dont like the fact I can't see the weight because it's in a building
I really wish companies would post their actual business hours and actually stick to them. There's nothing more frustrating than driving all the way here, only to find you guys closed, and your Google Business page says you are open. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR BUSINESS HOURS!
Changed hands, now a rip-off. The new owners have made it so difficult to drop off and receive payment. Due to severe arthritis, I nearly have to crawl onto the platform to receive payment, as they have no railings to hang on to. When I do reach the payment location, it is a fraction of what I used to get. Not happy with current service.
This place is an absolute joke with the new owners running it. I went there the other day and I was there for 2 hours. They also aren't near as friendly as the last owners and they have alot of stuff changed and the whole in and out process might as well have been rocket science for whoever came up with changing it to the way it is now. I definitely won't be going back there ever again. I literally had to jump thru so many hoops and zigzag all over the place for 2 hours to get the check. Then on top of that the money wasn't anything near as much as it would have been when it was Circle K. It's a shame what's happened to this place because I did good business with the last owners for years. I enjoyed going there. Now it's a nightmare I'll never repeat as long as I live. They need to take some notes from the previous owners on how to treat a customer and basic common sense.
Used to love it when it was called circle K. Went, was told needed multiple holes for freon cans, even though one shows empty, they want 5 or 6. Plus they paid nothing. A haul that last year was several hundred dollars amount to about 130. And it's just pure chaos. Time to investigate and look up other scrap yards and prices. Never again. Ripoff scandal 2025
This place is an actual rip off. They remove weight from your scrap and then give you 20% of what everyone else around gives. Might actually be the worst run scrap metal business in the world
Just dropped off 500 pounds. It took over a hour to get unloaded and paid. Only paid $50 for the scrap. Waste of time. Id rather let me aluminum/metals rust then to bring it back here.
This used to be a good place to do business but since it is under new ownership it's a nightmare. Employees are rude. They say they close at 3:30 but they shut the gate at 3:15. Also be prepared to wait an hour or longer.
I really don't know what they got going on here, but please tell me my boyfriend and I aren't the only ones who think this place is ripping us off.
It won't be everytime we go, (which is a lot) but since going here for years, especially my boyfriend, you would think we'd have a pretty good estimate of what we should get paid etc. when we go there... And it's just never what its supposed to be... Does anyone else have anything like this happen when going to thhis scrap yard?
They say "HIGHEST PRICES ON ALUMINUM, COPPER, BRASS, AND SCRAP METAL", but honestly I'm trying to see how some visits we take less than the last visit and make more...? (Of the same stuff because prices vary for each)
I think they should review how they're employees are running things, check their scales, and just check things are all over!
Absolutely amazing, honest people. Good prices, pretty efficient system. Remember that if you have a specific scrap like aluminum or copper to ride around after weighing to talk to them!
They are always helpful to me. I will try to go to this place over the other ones. The staff are always helpful to get me unloaded and they will not get anything out of my truck unless I let them know about it. The staff are very friendly and polite to me. I will go to circle k in any and all circumstances. Because they have won my vote of approval, I am sold on them.
Only scrap yard my husband and I will deal with. They are very friendly people and are not out to beat you like other scrap yards. Great place to haul your scrap metal!
The experience was horrible, no one spoke English besides one person I had to go through the scale 4 times, their was no directions and hard to get help. Personally I'm never going back
Friendly staff, extremely helpful. Dropped off a truck bed full of aluminum scrap and was in and out very quickly. Wouldn’t hesitate to do business with again.
First time here on 9/16. These people are very friendly and also really do compete price wise state wide! I really liked the fact that there is always someone there to tell you what to do and also help unload if you are weighed down. Not a lot of yards do this.
The employees that speak English are friendly. And kind. The Hispanics are rude not polite. Owners they are fair most of time. Exceptions are if u a thief you just messed up.
Yard employees can be a little more assertive I'm not really knowledgeable of there job description but needs Improvement with helping the client customer get in and out
Always helpful with unloading scrap iron or copper always has the best prices around always polite and very friendly people I personally don't take my scrap metal any other place
This is the best place to go in this area. You will get the most for your load here. Very friendly staff just a great group of people to do business with.
