After being stood up by another service, a very helpful guy answered my call right away, on Black Friday none the less. I appreciate that he was understanding that I was also having to find a ride back to Birmingham. He was patient enough to help figure out the best way to do that & get my vehicle towed without disrupting the entire day.
It took the tow truck over two hours to after I was told it was dispatched to make a 30 minute trip. Only after giving them ample time and allowing for traffic did I call back to be told the had taken another call, one that was made after they told me the truck was on the way. Come to find out they have a contract with the state. which I understand. But if they are going to take another call and put it before mine I would think they would have the common decency to at least give me a call and let me decide if I wanted to wait three times what I was expecting. Their price was also a good $75.00 above the going rate. I was uneducated on towing services, but now know better. I would not recommend Hank's unless you have plenty of time and don't really care how much you spend. A disaster from start to finish. Horrible business practices to leave a customer waiting all that time without at least a courtesy call.
I had an incident last night, it was raining cats an dogs an hanks towing did have to take there time cause of the weather to get there but i couldnβt ask for a more professional tow truck operator. He showed up on scene an obese red the scene an went to work in an had my truck loaded up an ready to tow on in no time. He definitely understood I was disgusted about the incident but done an awesome job taking over the scene an handling business an making me feel that everything was gonna be okay. I π―% will remember this towing company the next I need one an advise anyone else needing some help to call em too and or request them if you find yourself in an incident.
