Hare Wrecker Service is hands-down the most reliable team in the Gadsden/Glencoe area. I was stuck on the side of the road and they were on-site much faster than the estimated time. The driver was courteous, took great care not to damage my car, and the pricing was very fair—no hidden fees or 'emergency' upcharges. It’s easy to see why they’ve been in business since the 70s. I’m a little late writing my review, almost a year later, but I wouldn’t use anyone else other than Hare for my towing needs. I talked to Andrea, and she was very prompt and professional. Hare went to downtown Birmingham to get my vehicle from Weil wrecker, didn’t charge me a thing up front, built it in to my insurance claim, and got it over to Blair Auto Body right away. Thank y’all for making the process so easy!
After what felt like my very own series of unfortunate events, my truck ended up breaking down and then was towed from the only place that I could leave it at the time. But it was a blessing in disguise because if not for the wonderful staff and this fabulous tow company I probably would never would have gotten my truck back at all. And now I don't care where in AL. I'm going to be if I need any kind of towing service I'm calling Hare!!!!!
They were very nice and allowed me to come in on their off day to allow me to get my belongings out of my vehicle that was wrecked on the weekend. Very honest people that I would recommend to anyone.
While sitting on side the road on I-59S on September 19,2024 after my husband hit a deer ? . Damage to the front of our pickup@4:15am. Contact state police gave them information.no police ever can to our location. Contact my insurance who in turn contacted the towing service. Driver did not have exact location for us but he never stopped looking. The other truckers passing our flashing lights never slowed down, they passed close to us going about 85-90 miles an hour. But the Hare driver kept looking for us.I was never happier to see him in the front of our pickup. He worked and managed to get us off the highway to a safe location. Made sure our truck was safe to drive home and even called me sweetie. As an older generation senior citizen the drive should receive a 10 star rating for helping us. I just wanted others to know the Hare towing service is GREAT ?? thanks again!

The prices were unbelievable and the people were even better. Robert came right out and was super professional I don't know what they are paying him but he's worth a raise. You just don't find genuine companies and people like that everyday.
Arrived promptly, was very friendly, provided good suggestions on dealing with the wrecked vehicle, and was available to assist even after the car was towed.

Very expedient. The driver was helpful and courteous and was the dispatcher. The rate was reasonable I am sure especially with gas prices and everything else being so expensive.

Hare Wrecker is awesome! They have been very helpful to my family and friends on several occasions. They are professional, efficient, and quick to respond. They were quick to help my dad when his car broke down. They not only took care of his car, but made sure to check on my dad afterwards. This is a family owned and ran business. They treat people with fairness and respect. They are quick to respond and they are knowledgeable in doing their job. 45 years in business speaks volumes. Wouldn't use anyone else .
