They saved my life just the other day! I need a starter for my Jeep and it had quit literally in the Walmart parking lot... Needless to say the auto parts stores in town compared prices of nearly over $120 in comparison to Gibbs Junk Yard. I chose the junk yard as they were very helpful and efficient too! You have my personal recommendations from here on out!
The Gibbs Junk Yard is awesome. When I saw a 10 year old blog post and a three year old Google review saying you could browse the yard, we took the gamble while on a roadtrip and visited them un-announced. As an international tourist, I was greeted very friendly and we got permission to browse the yard. A friendly dog came along to keep all the critters away and we really enjoyed every moment. I also got lucky and eventually found some parts I could use for my Z car. Although the yard has been cleared by a lot just like some other reviews are stating, it's absolutely still worth the effort to come by and take a look!
The most nostalgic I've been in a salvage yard for 3 decades. Showed up at noon an a Saturday, told the gentleman manning the entrance that I had no reason to be there, just wanted to walk the yard. He said we could, had a hell of a time
Old school junkyard. Mostly older vehicles that's hard to find parts for as late as the 60s and 70s models. Not friendly service they'll pull the part for you while you wait
They didn't have exactly what I needed but did find something else that would work. They were very helpful and even put it on for me and charged a very reasonable price. I highly recommend using the Gibbs!
