2025 Kenworth with failed drive shaft, at 140,000 miles carrier bearing failed and driveline snapped in half.
We called Conway Diesel Services and towed unit to their shop, from there we've had great communication and ideas to get truck back on the road. They drove around 200 miles back and forth taking driveline to couple repair shops until we found the one willing to help us.
They also fixed a brake chamber on a trailer that happen to drive right by their location.

6 STARS to Conway Diesel Services! These guys did EVERYTHING they possibly could to help me get back on the road. From giving me a lift to,and from the motel back to their shop. Unfortunately,one of my Dispatchers at Fepco name Troy,was very Rude & Unpleasant with one of Conway's secretary,and even tried lying on the mechanics,stating that they didn't replace or put oil back into the tractor. When I was standing RIGHT THERE AS THEY FILLED UP ALL of the fluids !🤦 they even spotted another issue and the same Dispatcher wouldn't allow Conway to fix it to get me back,but insisted that I drive on the issue,which caused yet,another break down which is the last photo getting on the On Ramp.🤦. Conway even came back Twice to see if they could get me rolling. But my company wouldn't allow them to fix it...🤷
But, Conway did what they were told to do and Fixed the Main issue. And i give Thanks to them for that . These Guys are Awesome !!! If your in the area and need assistance,You'll be Thankful that you made that Call 👌
I had a inside tire that caught fire after I hit something in the road,stop and put fire out it melted my air bag on truck and wires and airlines on my tanker this happen on Saturday may 31st morning at 3am Conway diesel came out about 8am towed me their shop and replaced 2 drive tires and my airbag,then repaired my tanker but was told it would be Monday before they could make repairs from what my company told me that road repair told them,as soon as they pulled me in their shop they jumped right on my truck and tanker,Richard was the wrecker driver that repaired my tanker what a awesome job he did,and David repaired my truck,this being on a Saturday morning just imagine if I had to use loves truck stop I will still be sitting 😢 I can't say enough about these 2 men they were hospitable and did an excellent job getting me back on the road,thank you so much Conway diesel what 2 outstanding men you have working for you,I will stop there anytime from now on if I need something done to my truck,thank you
We were traveling from Birmingham to Gulf Shores when our church van got a flat tire. We found this business on Google. They repaired our tire and didn't charge us anything! One of my 26ft trucks went down near Evergreen. Conway Diesel towed it and kept the truck safe while I worked out getting it back to NC for repair. I have dealt with tow companies and mechanics all over the country that overcharge because they know you have no other options. This man did the opposite. He helped me because he knew I was in a tough spot. I didn’t even ask. These are good people and I can’t recommend this business enough. My only regret is that they aren’t closer to NC so I can give them all of my business.

Good nice people with nice prices and good on time as well, Love’s down the road tried to charge me the same price for a retread tire when here they gave me a new tire and installed it for the same price for my semi truck drive tire, so yes I highly recommend coming here and they have more services than just tires😁
I was headed north on I-65 and the front tire on my Pete 379 started bouncing. Pulled over on exit 101 and could see a split in the tire. Looked up...and right across the highway sat Conway Diesel Service. Went to them...and they changed my tire and had me on the road again in less than 30 minutes. And at a price that would make the big shops blush! If we ever are in this area and need something...check them out. You'll be glad you did.
Blew a coolant hose. Made it to their parking lot and slept. First thing in the morning, when these guys came to work, they jumped right on the truck. Got me fixed up, did a diagnosis with his laptop to check some things for me.
Reasonably price, professional, knowledgeable in their profession.
Although they only fixed a hose for me, this shop does engine work and has big truck wreckers and a service truck for road calls. They are all local people who live and work in their community. If you have any problems in this area by all means give Conway Diesel service a call.
Wow, just wow. They took good care of my drivers with a tow and repair on a holiday weekend. Fair prices. All I can say is thank you to them and they will be my first call anytime we are in the area.
The men and women who work here are are nothing but the best! I was broke down 4 hours from home with two 12 year old girls. I was scared to death. These guys saved the day. Made my girls and I feel so safe. They are all the amazing.

A great shop to get quality repairs at a fair price. Mark and Freda were both very helpful, Freda at the front office and Mark skillfully replacing a seized belt pully along with the serpentine engine belt that self-destructed when the pully seized. My Freightliner shut down about 12 miles south of Conway Diesel Services shop on I65, and Micheal and his tow truck rescued me and took me and my truck to the shop Monday about 5:00pm. By noon the next day (Tuesday) Mark had the parts needed, and by early afternoon had my truck back on the road. GREAT JOB! Thank you so much!
It was a very special service for a very special boy, Jackson Conway. And I'm so glad I went cause I thoroughly enjoyed it. And too, seen my best friend who I hadn't seen in a while, lack of wheels. My daughter took me to the service, so glad I went. I have a car, but sometimes goes dead and also jumps out of first gear and stays that way til it decides to jump back in gear. I deal with it up to 2 or 3 miles, but thats it. Also my great grandaughter, Bella won one of the prizes they had at the end of the service. It was a very nice service with beautiful singing and sermon.
After a medical problem left us on the side of the road, Conway, at the recommendation of EMTs and sheriffs,came to our rescue. They were not just professional; they were skilled and especially kind to us. We couldn’t say enough good about the staff and ownership. It has been humbling to be treated so well. It’s obvious that service is not just their business it’s in their hearts. If we could give them six stars we would.
These guys know what they are doing. They go above and beyond the Call of Duty. It's not just an 8 to 5 work day they get calls all during the night sometimes more than once when they are called they go. When you're in the bed sleeping these guys might be out on the interstate working a wreck with big trucks so that the interstate will be safe for the people traveling. Their work work is never done
Great place to get work done on your rig. Everyone that work at Conway are professionals! They also have towing services if needed they were able to get fixed and rolling within 24 hours they even stayed to make sure I was satisfied with their work after they finished. If I'm ever in the area again and need work done Conway will definitely be where I will go.
Very courteous Associates and efficient service. If you have diesel issues I would definitely recommend stopping here and allowing these fine folks to help you correct your problems. This was a clean facility with a lot of parking space they were very busy but took time to speak with me and help me just being a walk-in customer with no appointment I really appreciated that

absolutely the best repair shop I have ever been to. I had a catastrophic transmission failure. destroyed the clutch bell housing and oil cooler. had everything rebuilt and back together in the time frame they said. they do accept debit and credit. not sure what that jackasses comment was all about. and yes u have to pay to receive ur truck back as well. the best repair shop I have ever been to
Very professional Company. I was broken down over the weekend in my RV . Good Sam located them for me. They did a very professional job, very friendly and their work was reasonably priced. They had me back on the road the same day. I wish they were in the town I live as I would use them whenever I needed a repair. I would highly recommend this company.
