Rented an electric car in Pensacola to drive to Atlanta. On the way back from Atlanta the battery died with no charging station in site. D and D towed us from Castleberry to Pensacola. Great customer service. Great convo on the ride. Highly recommend.

This kind-hearted gentleman came to the rescue of a friend and I late last night on the side of the interstate. We were stranded on the highway, an hour and a half away from home, unable to reach anyone for help. Thankfully, this guardian angel stopped to assist us, towing us to his shop, fixing our tire, and sending us on our way without charging us. We are immensely grateful for his compassion and for saving us from being stranded. Thank you.

On our way home from vacation our car system indicated a low tire so we were searching for a place to have it checked. D&D had the best google rating so we passed other, closer shops. We were not disappointed! So nice, professional, and prompt. They couldn’t find a leak so they wouldn’t charge us. We were quickly back on the road home. Such a blessing. Thoughts of spending hours waiting to get help quickly disappeared.

My husband and I were traveling from NC to Mobile and my truck began making an awful sound from the front end that was progressively getting worse. As soon as daylight came and the shops opened, we pulled into two garages. One turned us away and D&D was not that one. We narrowed down our issue before we pulled in, but since we were traveling we did not have the tools to fix it. Their mechanic stopped what he was doing to help us. Confirmed we were correct about the sway bar link needing tightened after a level install and fixed it for us. Now granted it only took about 1/2 turn to stop the noise and maybe 2 minutes but we offered payment because his time was valuable and he refused. We rode around and found breakfast for him and the other mechanics as a thank you. I did not get the young man’s name but THANK YOU for helping us and making the remainder of our trip much more peaceful.

We were broken down on our way home to Texas. The mechanic came to the motel we were stuck at, ran a diagnostic test and helped us get home. So kind. So helpful. Forever grateful for his help.

Let me start off by saying I have lived in several states big and small towns and experienced LIFE far more then others around here and also having found many “mechanics” who are true to their word - but since moving here I seriously have lost my mind trying to find a true and knowledgeable person to service anything other then a tire. We currently live on the edge of Monroeville & it seems no one in this town is ever open or knowledgeable in automotive repair except tire repair as stated before. My Jeep sat at the Chevy dealership for 4 days NEVER looked at by a “mechanic” I was told they really don’t work on anything outside of Chevy after I finally called to find out why my Jeep had been sitting in the same spot going on day 4. Called others around who were closed until the 1st of the year or to busy. Took it to the Ford dealership where it was looked at and diagnosed to have a rusted flex pipe BUUUUT they couldn’t fix it, but again they were kind enough to atleast look and inform me of the problem. The Jeep dealership in Greenville and Brewton wouldn’t repair unless the entire unit was replaced with an estimate of over $1200!!! Called D & D on a whim - super easy to talk with told me to bring it over and he would look at it. So my husband took the jeep for him to look at, ordered the part, waited over Christmas weekend - had my Jeep repaired and even plugged a tire for less then $200 and under an hour! I couldn’t have been happier to no longer be driving around with it sounding like a boat motor. I cannot say how much I appreciate him for his honesty and doing what others were to lazy or completely having no knowledge on what to do. Completely worth the drive there and we will continue to go to him before any other place going forward. THANK YOU AGAIN!!

Gary went above and beyond to help my family today. He was quick, patient and super nice. You are very much appreciated sir thank you for saving the day and taking us home to Georgia! You are on speed dial for our next adventure!!!

We were on our way to the beach from Georgia and our car started running extremely rough on the Interstate and the check engine light was flashing. After some quick research we called D & D and they took care of us right away. We had a bad #3 spark plug ignition pack which they were able to order and have in place in 30 minutes. I cannot express how grateful and relieved we were to be able to continue our trip within the hour. These guys were friendly (even to a GA Bulldog in Alabama!), honest and reasonable in price. If you are ever in the Evergreen area and need any auto related service, you cannot go wrong with this operation. My deepest thanks and appreciation!

Only used the towing services but it was great. The owner was very respectful and courteous toward us. Our truck transmission went out in the middle of the road Saturday morning and he came to the rescue.

Very friendly and got my tire plugged and put it back on after removing the spare. Looking forward to making an appt to get oil changed! Thank you for your help!

3 friends from out of town were meeting in Evergreen. My friends car was having issues. A lady at McDonald’s suggested D & D. She called and they said bring it over. In less than 2 hours they worked her in, evaluated the problem, made recommendations and did not even charge her. Everyone was so nice and professional. Evergreen you have a treasure in D&D Automotive!

My college kiddo and roommates were on the way back from Auburn on Thanksgiving break when they got a flare tire on the interstate. I called Gary on a Saturday. In literally 20 minutes they were back on the freeway and driving. He charged $50. The kids would have waited more than an hour for roadside assistance to do the same job. Considering it’s in the 40s, raining, nearly dark, and holiday traffic, this mama’s heart was put to ease. Gary even called to let me know they were back up and running. The fast tire change and fair price were great business. Calling to let me know the kids were safe? Well…That’s a great human! I highly recommend D and D Automotive located at 108 Pecan St. Evergreen, AL, 36401!

On my way home for a long 6 hour drive from vacation, my tire went flat. I pulled off and called D&D Auto and they sent Gary out to put my spare on and they fixed my tire back at the shop so I can get back on the road again. Amazing service, good hospitality, and quick service. Highly recommend! I am so appreciative of them!

While traveling, we had a bad alternator. The shop did a great job with the repair and made a bad situation, much better. Gary was super friendly and helpful.

So we we're on our first family vacation and we get stranded on the highway because our car broke down... The belt broke.. well d&d automotive is the place that we chose and I'm glad we did because he went out of his way to fix our car he found us a hotel he got us a discount at the hotel he got his son to drive us to the hotel and he went into work whenever the shop was closed just so we could get our car back running beautifully and we got to go on our vacation. He asked me if we were still going on vacation and I said I really don't know now and he said don't let that happen we will work with you he did not charge me any crazy price or nothing like that. Whenever we go back to Gulf shores we will definitely stop by just to say hey and thank you again amazing people everybody at the shop was very polite.

My family of 3 were on our way to Gulf Shores and our belt broke on the car creating a whole other problem on top of that. Thank goodness we found D&D Automotive and Towing! The owner is the kindest man ever, especially in our predicament. He had his son drive us to a hotel for the night because we had to wait on parts but the next morning the car was running like a CHARM. Thank you Thank you THANK YOU! Great service for a great price!

Kindest person ever. He opened on a Sunday to repair our tire and was quick and efficient. We were on the road in less than 15 minutes. If we come back through, we will definitely stop by!!!!

I was heading to Gulf Shores, AL from Hazel Green, AL when my 2014 Jeep took a nosedive in Prattville, AL. After taking it to a Jeep dealership up there, and getting the call that nothing was wrong diagnostically and to come get my vehicle, I started my journey to Gulf Shores once again the next day. However, about an hour into my drive my Jeep failed again. I chose D and D Automotive at random because I was in the middle of nowhere and had zero clue about my surroundings. I am so glad I did. After my insurance company got me safely to their shop via tow truck, both Mr. Gary and Joe helped diagnose the issue (it was in fact the alternator), explained the repair to me, checked on me several times (mind you, I was in their shop for close to 6 hours with no where to go), and were incredibly knowledgeable about their trade. I grew up around cars and can tell pretty quickly when people are in this business to rip off those in need and I can say, without-a-doubt, this shop genuinely cares about their patrons and those they serve. They could have *easily* waited to work on my car the next day but they were immediate in their desire to help and get me back on the road. I could not be more thankful for their help and cannot recommend them enough. Hearts of gold and quality work, D and D Automotive is the place to go.

My boyfriend's car broke down on the side of the road and I had to go find him. D & D Automotive was the first shop that pulled up in Google that had over a 4.5 rating. That there sold me after I started reading the reviews. We gave them a call and Gary gave us a round about time of when he could make it to us after we dropped a pin of our location. The spirit from these guys was light and very refreshing! My boyfriend had an idea of what was wrong with his car, the fuel pump, and let Gary know. By the time he towed the car to the shop, and we were pulling out to go get something to eat, the part was pulling in. We went and grabbed food and the car was done by the time we got back! To say the service and atmosphere was amazing, professional, and outstanding....is an UNDERSTATEMENT!!! Joel had plenty of jokes by the time we arrived back and kept us laughing! You definitely feel like home when you're there. Would highly recommend and use them for future services. It's worth driving here to have your vehicle serviced.

Gary towed my Dodge sprinter back to new Orleans when I broke down near Evergreen. He was courteous, professional, knowledge and prompt. Gary did what he said he would do when he said he would do it. His price was fair and he treated us with great compassion. Thank you Gary! You are a man amongst men!

I'm new to Evergreen by way of California and needed a mechanic. After a horrible experience with a local automotive shop, I came across D&D. They are amazing, honest, and reasonable. Gary is my mechanic for life. I highly recommend D&D.

Excellent, respectively, reasonable prices, just great family business and they really care about your car needs. And you also get great entertainment while you wait, Gary should be making his on recording music in stores everywhere.

I have been trying to think of what exactly to write for the past week or so. I just can't find the words to accurately describe their level of service, excellence or generousness. Mr. Gary and his family are amazing people, he put a lot of hard work into our RV to get everything in working order. Without him we never would've made it out of Alabama. We made it successfully up to Pennsylvania for work, and then headed to Oregon (We made it with no real issues). Outstanding work and service. D & D is a quality place with humble and caring people. They're busy but so worth the wait if you need your car fixed and fixed right with no gimmicks then this is the place for you. Thank you Mr. Gary!

Phenomenal, honest, inexpensive care, they go the extra mile...actually it was closer to ten miles, I was halfway to Greenvile when my idler bearing seized on my Mercedes Benz 350 SLK, shredding my serpentine belt and leaving me properly stranded at Grace Garland exit. Stuck like chuck and the nearest taxi? Montgomery. Ouch. Gary got the parts to me and got me back up in running in no time, and to say they were fair, well my friend, that is an understatement. Knowledgeable, fast, friendly and trustworthy is what I know about D&D. Hands down they are the absolute best, and in my case saved the day, and what would have been a long cold night on the side of I65. Great service for the amount of hands to spare. All workers are super nice even if they are slammed. Exellemt tire service and they seem to always have whatever size of used tire you may be needing. Even a soda machine for you to drink while you wait for your needs to be met. If they can't help you they will point you in the right directions to someone who can

I was traveling thru Alabama via I65 and needed the ujoints changed on my Ford Excursion. These guys hustled their butts off to get me back on the highway. They were very fair, honest and affordable!

I give the service 5 stars. Very friendly and laid back. But I was not satisfied with the way my breaks turned out. They still feel like I need to get them done.
