Blew a headlight on '12 Traverse, stopped in for the bulb so husband could install when he had time. Larry said they could fix me right up and install it right then and there. Short 10 minutes later (waiting with a very chill shop dog, which was therapeutic in itself) I was back on the road. We all thank you.
Our car broke down on the way to South Dakota as we approached Torrington. We called several places in hopes of getting the car repaired. No one could get us in before Monday. It was Wednesday. Finally reacing Pronto at Valley Mercantile, they were able to get the car worked on. After inspection, fixing for reasonable amount we were on our way to SD. They even helped us get to and from the hotel to their business. Very kind hard working people. Thank you very much. God bless.
I will always go back to this Valley Mercantile. They are truly amazing people and diagnosed things properly and do not overcharge you. I'm completely impressed and thankful to them. I was using a business in Nebraska and they truly were not properly diagnosing the issue with my Jeep. Thanks Larry!

I was traveling through Torrington and our AC went out. Larry and the boys got us in right away and did everything they could to help us get back on the road with AC. JUST GOOD PEOPLE!!
Travelling from out of state with a child for a short vacation. As we were pulling into town smoke from under the hood was visible - engine coolant was splashed all over inside. We were directed to Valley Mercantile. They understood the urgency of our situation and took a look right away. It turned out to be a hose repair which they performed immmediately. I was already planning to spend my vacation time in torrington. These guys' help felt like a miracle. I honestly cannot be thankful enough! Thank you so so much!
I had my car towed to Valley because it was not working and I was from out of town not knowing where to go. So I had my car towed into Valley late in the evening after hours, found a place to stay for the evening and walked back at open the next morning. Not sure if it was a parts house or a repair facility I asked the man begging the counter, he said it was a repair facility also and began to explain issues with the car and the fact that I was from out of town. The simple reply I received was “they could maybe look at it Monday”. Surprised and having deadlines to meet I had to explore other options and when I did I found a local parts house more empathetic and helpful than the repair facility I was towed into. This was all on a Tuesday and thanks to a local parts house and Torrington Treads repair facility I was back on the road Wednesday morning. This want to say that the Torrington Treads wasn’t busy but they took the time to see someone in need and worked to help as opposed to Valley that just simply looked at the schedule without seeing a person out a repair need.
Owner was very helpful. He even opened up the doors on a day that he was closed to sell us some parts for our car that broke down on the side of the road.
