Fantastic. I’m from out of town and used the AI machine to give me a quintessential lunch experience and it sent me here and told me to try the cheese curds in the Ale Battered Cod.
One thing I didn’t like, the potato salad with bacon. It was weird to me. Didn’t like the flavor but you may like it.
I sat at a table with a bunch of beer cans on the wall. Find the Hop’n Gator. I hope you enjoy your visit.

Some of the worst bbq I’ve had in a while, it was dry, didn’t have any flavor tasted like it was stored in water and warmed up, the sandwich didn’t have enough bbq sauce on it. If the meat was tossed in the bbq it would have been better but it was just drizzled on the top. The waitress rolled her eyes at me when I mentioned something about the sandwich being bad and had no options to fix the problem. The other people in my party had decent food from what they told me.
Ordered a turkey gobbler. Terrible. Only lunch meat turkey on toasted white bread with lettuce. No avocado, bacon, red onion, and very little pest Mayo as advertised. Usually food is much better so very disappointed.
Couldn't decide whether to give 4 or 5 stars. The food on its own is probably a 4. But when compared to other places in the immediate area, it's probably worth a 5. That and the staff were awesome, tipping it to an overall 5. Burgers were solid. Well cooked and tasty. Their homemade chips and dip were a very good side. I didn't miss having fries. Decent beer selection. Inside is big, bright and clean, with a good atmosphere. Would eat here again.
Stopped in for work lunch with some guys and was all good. Food good as usual and good service. Tried the bang bang chicken salad and was great.
Only little complaint is i wish some of the tables were bigger. So if you are in the 5or6 people, you are a little crampled
Took my husband here to have lunch for his birthday and was very disappointed. He ordered his burger, medium, and it came rare. We sent it back and it's like they microwaved it and put it back on the bun crooked. His chips were soaked in all the juices from the burger, it was a complete disaster, someone there needs to learn how to cook meat. I expected a lot better from this place. They used to have great food. My Greek salad was OK but nothing to write home about at all. We will not be returning here. Oh yeah, the beer was good.
I was in Wisconsin Rapids for business today and a friend suggested stopping here. The burger of the week was topped with a brat, cheddar cheese, deep fried onion straws, garlic Mayo and beer mustard. This might have been the best burger I have had. At least that I can remember! The bar tender was very polite, music was the right volume and just a cool place in downtown. Highly recommend stopping here!
Before scouting the area for some B-roll, we stopped by Jennings & Co. for a bite, and wow, those burgers were great! Juicy, flavorful, and downright delicious.
As I took my first bite, I felt like I was transported to a magical kingdom where burgers reign supreme. The patties were grilled by a mythical chef who must have a secret stash of enchanted spices.
If you're looking for a burger that hits the spot and takes you on a culinary adventure, this is the place. Bonus points for the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff who might just be undercover wizards.

I've come back to this location and the food and service has been mediocre on both busy days and non busy days.
The food can be hit or miss depending on when you go. I tried their special burger the most recent time we visited. I asked for it to be medium, but it was closer to a cannibal sandwich than it was to being medium. Pretty sure my burger moo'd at me.
We'll probably still visit, but I'll update my review once the food is more consistent.
Had the perch fish. It was below average in my opinion. Had no flavor and was not much fish taste to it. Portion size was good at 6 pieces. Would not order it again. Seen some eating burgers and they looked pretty good. Service was decent.
Really nice-looking bar. Staff were friendly. Dropped by for a snack and enjoyed a beer and some cheese curds. Must say, the men's room has some incredible lighting!

Great Food and atmosphere for lunch. Super friendly bartender. I'll have to say how can a chicken sandwich be 5 stars...well it's 5 stars for a bar lunch club. Excellent!
Excellent as always! My go-to is the Ranch hand sandwich! It is a must try. Chips and dip are amazing! This is one of our favorite stops when we visit! A bit pricey, but worth every penny!
My dad heard about them on facebook and they had a great reviews so we had to check them out of course and they lived up to the hype highly recommended!!! Friendly service, great food, great beer selection for every beer lover!!! You definitely wont be disappointed!!!
Stopped in for a quick lunch while on a Cranberry Highway tour. The picky eater in our group liked the beer cheese dip and couldn't stop raving about the California Goobler (once it was served heated). I enjoyed the Buffalo Chicken dip (especially with the celery)
The menu selections are great, love trying the specials. You never know what they are going to serve up for the special of the day. Chips and dip made have excellent flavor to accent any sandwich.(2019)
Well it is now 2020, a year has passed. My review above still stands. However I would like to add, pineapple express is my go-to burger, and love the homemade chips and dip. The staff is fabulous, Angie is a great server. That said, don't change the food, just the price if needed.
Today was my first time dining here. I had a garden salad and an order of cheese curds and I was completely full. The bar has a pub like atmosphere and was very busy for a midday Wednesday. I will have to return again soon and try some of the other items on their menu.
As promised I stopped back on Good Friday for the perch fish fry. I only have one word to describe my meal...OUTSTANDING!!
Six good sized pieces of fish, fries, Cole slaw and a roll. Once again I walk away completely full. Best fish fry I have had anywhere in central Wisconsin...AND I've had alot!! Excellent service too! I was served on a busy Friday in 7 minutes! Kudos to the staff and management. I live 15 miles away but it will be worth the trip to return again...
First time visiting and loved it! Great service, great atmosphere, and excellent food. My party had the tenderloin steak sandwich, the chicken quesadillas, and the American burger. All were excellent! I also ordered a virgin mary, and I would totally order one again. We'll be back!
In short it was a cold Friday night we came here for a fish fry seated 20 feet from the door, every time somebody open the door we got a cold draft so we had to eat with our coats on! This could be a simple fix...
Also we had to wait by the door for seating that was on little bench in the front when they could have easily have put 3 tall tables with chairs, the people waiting would be able to sit down.
You couldn't beat the waitresses and all the bartenders that work there they were fantastic!
Now the food as far as the fish went was really good and the coating was crispy it's just too bad I had such a small portion. Admittingly, I'm not asking for a bucket load of fish just a reasonable two piece.. Same with the potato salad it was, alright but such a small portion. You couldn't beat the coleslaw, that's got to be the best around!
I thought the pretzel bun was a fantastic idea it's just too bad it was so cold my butter couldn't melt in it and it's as if it came from outside! The wait for this still was a little over an hour in which I thought was a little long but I understood it was busy.
I found two bathrooms in this establishment, excluding female-only. The main floor bathroom for the men's was rather small and a little dirty. The bathroom upstairs was very clean and kept and this bathroom was a unisex bathroom. All in all the inside gave you the feel of an Old Fashioned Saloon. Floor-to-ceiling gave you the feel of the 19th century and I really like that!
I really thought long and hard for this review and three stars was the best I could come up with.
