5 stars all day, quick and friendly service. This is the third company I called when I needed my truck moved; it's home in the driveway now, and I still haven't heard back from the first two places I called. Guess who I'm calling first NEXT time I need a tow? Very satisfied, reasonably priced too.
After waiting over an hour for another tow company to show up, we called Ackerville towing and 10 minutes later they showed up and had everything on the way. Quick, easy and he was super nice about everything too.
35$ Administrative fee?
So I get it, it costs money to run a business but 175$ to tow a car less than 10 miles. They didn't charge me for the 2 day impound but for 1 day and night plus tow and a "administrative fee" was 279$ in all rediculous
We had a mechanical failure when we were headed camping. Called Ackerville and explained that we had a truck and travel trailer in need of towing to Milwaukee. John showed up in a short time, loaded the truck and hitched the trailer, pulled us home and off-loaded all. John was VERY professional and friendly and made our not so good afternoon tolerable. HIGHLY recommend him and their service!!
Had our Rv break down on the freeway and was recommended to Ackerville. Explained the situation and they brought the proper equipment to tow a heavy RV.
They towed us back to their shop and had us back on the road 2 days later (after having parts overnighted to them).
FWIW, we used to use AAA, then Good Sam roadside assistance. We would never have gotten this quality of service from either of the road side assistance companies.
Sherrif dept called Ackerville after I slid into a ditch during the snow squall. I canceled my own tow because Ackerville would be there sooner. I wasn't able to access my vehicle until Monday (closes at noon on Saturday and closed Sunday and no vehicle). I signed over my title and was still charged OVER $100.
Would not recommend.
