Bill Drivers did a great job of keeping us informed with ETA. We were picked up within an hour of calling and we were in Oconto county when we broke down.
Very professional absolutely amazing my driver was Justin he did a phenomenal job he had the straps on and the car loaded and minutes gave us a nice warm ride home for me and my fiance who are stranded at 3AM in the morning.... Called all other towing places in the area that said there were 24 hours and nobody really answered..... American towing was our last hope and boy did they come through made sure we got home nice and safe dropped off our car in the spot we liked or wanted and they answer the phone promptly and accordingly and the dispatch was very professional and courteous I don't think I could ask for more.... Thank you American towing we will never forget when nobody else is there that you guys were:) Happy New Year to everybody at American towing you guys really went above and beyond for us and we greatly appreciate that for me and my fiance and family thank you again! Definitely recommend these guys 10 out of 10 for anybody that wants quick fast efficient service with amazing customer care!:)
BILL Is great. Him and the guy that came to help. Our cyber truck died because there’s barely any charging ports in the area. He also waiting hours for us and helped us figure out how to jump and power it. He did not leave us in the cold, he actually cared and helped us, we are 4 hours away from home. Don’t know what we would’ve did without you guys!! Now we’re back on the road headed home. God bless your hearts
This company is great! They were fast, kind and helpful. They took our motorcycle back to our home and at a very fair price too. They are now in my phone as the first to call if needed in the future.

I was extremely impressed with American Towing of Shawano in April 2025. As a company, the tow truck was clean inside and out and seemed to be well maintained; I needed to ride along in the cab and felt comfortable. Ryan V. was the service technician and went above & beyond expectations— he’s a good communicator, prompt, knowledgeable, caring and detail oriented to notice and make note of things with my vehicle that may be important to note for future needs of repair or investigation of what caused the breakdown. Within 10 minutes of my service request to AAA Ryan had called me to check in about my needs, safety and make a towing plan. It was 10p.m. on his night off on a weekend (and to do this tow meant he wouldn’t get back home until 2:30a.m.) but it was a cold night and he was concerned for my safety where my vehicle had stalled and didn’t want me to sit there longer so he jumped in his truck and came to help. The following week he was accessible via call & text message to communicate and answer follow up questions regarding his unique observations, very patient, empathetic, willing and helpful. I’d give Ryan & American Towing 10 stars if that were an option. I sure appreciate them!
Service from AAA and American Towing and R Recovery was an extremely fast and positive experience. The service technician, Marty was very pleasant and a pleasure to work with. If I am ever in need of this type of assistance again, I would not hesitate to call AAA and American Towing and Recovery, and I would hope that Marty would be the technician!
American Towing showed up within 20 minutes after I contacted AAA due to my vehicle not starting in the cold weather. I thought I would need a tow back to Appleton as I suspected a failed starter due to the engine not turning over while the battery was being jumped. The technician diagnosed a faulty battery as the culprit, got the vehicle started, and got me on the road quickly. His great service helped me avoid a huge headache. Thank you American Towing!
The fastest tow service I have ever received, anywhere. Really nice gentleman rescued me and did some fast thinking to get me a new wheel and tire. My daughter and I looked at his cows and horses on the adorable farm. I was on my way quickly and I paid several hundred dollars less than I would have in the twin Cities.
They told me to expect a slight delay, which I already figured because I was pretty far from the city, but they still arrived in under an hour. They called a couple times to update me on their ETA. When the service truck arrived he was kind and didn’t seem at all irritated about having to help yet another person who ran herself out of gas overall, great customer service.
Best service I have ever received and I am so thankful I found myself on the side of the road and could not find a towing company that could take me into town and Ryan and his team sent out a truck for me and they were there within the hour. The driver was very knowledgeable and even gave me names of different shops that I could look into to stay within my price point. Thank you so much and l will recommend American Towing to everyone!!!
Crooked as they come went in for alignment and was told it needed a cv joint 1000$ later the cv axle fell out going to Green Bay which was informed was the wrong part . Asked to see the so called bad part and was told it was picked up by the recyclers. How convenient never again .
Great service! American Car Care came quickly and got me out of a ditch. Operator took care to ensure branches didnt scratch my truck. Really appreciate the help. And all at a reasonable price.
