I called him for a quote, he called me back and told me it would cost me 650 to fix what needed to be fixed so I told him perfect when can you do it he told me Monday. I said I can't so he said he can do it Friday, I told him I get done with work at 11am so I will be there he said okay see you then. I called him this morning and he was so rude to me and said I never made an appointment and he is the owner and he is the only one working here so you called the wrong person. I said no then I said oh you did this to me last Monday when I asked if he could take a look and see what is exactly wrong with my frontend. He said stop in Monday at 3, I show up and he was closed. Guess he doesn't need my money that bad.
Absolutely fantastic. Provided honest quick service to my father for free. In days where most places try to rip you off, it was awesome to see honesty. Will bring all my future service here!
Don't bother going here! They don't know what they are doing! Took my car in to have a alternator install that I had gotten. They told me it was bad and chargered me $125 and wouldn't look at it further. Turned out is just had a bad fuse that was blown from the original alternator. Didn't even try to diagnose it!
UNSAFE & RECKLESS!!!!! Took our car here for CV axel repairs and wheel speed bearings. Neither repair held up and resulted in my pregnant wife being stranded on side of the interstate with sub zero temps and with dislocated axel. This was the direct result of being repaired incorrectly as confined by multiple mechanic professionals. The owner (Jeff) took no measures to rectify situation and make this right. STAY AWAY FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY!!! Cannot be trusted for ANY repairs.
I highly recommend Peper’s for any of your vehicle’s regular maintenance and repairs. They never fail to disappoint! Great communication, knowledge and top notch customer service.
You are better off driving a few extra miles to a real shop with real tools and employees who know what they are doing in st croix falls or the surrounding area. This is a podunk backwoods shop and he won't think twice to break your stuff and send you on the way
Jeff and Jake are great. Always friendly and knowledable. They are busy. But they will try to fit you in if they have a cancellation. Prices are reasonable.
I was stuck in Balsam Lake today when the brake froze up on my back tire. The guy at Peper’s stopped what he was doing and diagnosed the problem and got me back on the road right away. So grateful that I wasn’t stranded long on a below zero day.
Locally owned mechanic service. Have had a few items repaired here. Completely satisfied with the work done. Prices were fair! Ordered a new set of tires today.
so my daughter called me she was stuck in balsam lake her car would not start. I got on internet and pulled up auto repair in Balsam Lake and Pepers was the first one I chose. called and Jeff answered I explained to him what was going on and he said he would walk over to her he was only about a block away. I was shocked he did this but it means this place is really truly there to help people.. thank you so much for doing this for her and me.. will definetly remember your kindness... this is what small town is all about!!!!
