I brought my 2020 STI in for a power steering leak. This was my first time using Sommer’s Subaru and my experience was fantastic! I was able to drop my vehicle off within a 48 hour period and was provided a loaner vehicle. Angie was my advisor, Lance was the technician and both did an excellent job! Angie kept me updated with the status of my vehicle the entire time and had communication sent to me on her day off. I will most certainly be back to see Angie and Lance for future repairs and maintenance.

Very good experience. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Really clean facility. They gave me a 2026 outback loaner which was a really nice treat. Services prices are a hair on the high side, but nothing too crazy. Turn around was fairly good too. They even washed my car.
Vehicle report was sent as an email with a video walkthrough on our cars issues. That was pretty cool of them to do that.

I felt taken care of from the moment I drove in. My service advisor John was attentive and communicated everything with me. He also made sure I had a vehicle while mine was there for a few days. Which saved me so much stress!
Stopped by to check low tire pressure flag. Needed tire checked for holes. Done in a very short time. No hole. No charge,

We purchased our Subaru vehicles from another Subaru dealer. After a couple of years of receiving subpar service and being told they “don’t offer loaner” vehicles, we decided to try Sommers. They replaced our blown CVT and many parts that were damaged due to the faulty transmission all under warranty. The process was very easy, they kept us informed the entire way. They even made sure the loaner car they offered fit our family’s needs. Not a penny for any of the repairs came out of pocket! We will happily use Sommer’s service again, I’ll be buying my next vehicles from them as well. This is what a dealer should be.
Their advisor Sara was amazing. I didn’t initially request a courtesy vehicle, but ended up needing one because she wanted to make sure they were doing their due diligence with my vehicle. I really appreciate her!!!
Kevin Luedtke, the Service Advisor, is outstanding. Very personable, professional and he genuinely cares about the customer. Kevin is great a problem solving. It is obvious he wants to make sure the customer has the best experience possible.
Outstanding customer service that is same quality as I receive at my luxury automobile dealerships. I'm very impressed. And for the repairs, out of the kindness of their hearts, they wrote it off as covered by the warranty, even though it was 2 months past (so they didn't charge me anything), and it was on a car I didn't even buy from them. They've made a life-long customer for future car purchases and service.
Excellent service as always. I stopped in for a “pit stop” as I was going on a roadtrip. One tire pressure was at 27. They put my Subaru on the rack, took the tire off and unable to find any problem with the tire. No charge ma’am. Thank you Sommer’s Service Dept
Scheduled 60k maintenance on Outback … they found nail in my new tire… coordinated replacement thru warranty process. Excellent communication and service orientation.
The service and sales people are friendly and professional. We were not hassled when we were checking out the vehicles on display. The service area and showroom are spotless. The waiting area is comfortable. Service is prompt and accurate. Glad we chose Sommer's.
The service was wonderful. Me and my husband stop to check out a used Subaru and walked out 2 hours later with that car!! We are so happy with it. Services were great!!!
The two issues which brought me to the Service Center were handled in a professional and timely manner. The new battery and new tire were replaced as needed. It was nice to have the waiting area, too.
We had a complicated issue and our service advisor John went the distance to get it resolved. He was persistent, thorough, communicative and professional. The car is running great again!
They were great in getting our Legacy in and fixed in a timely manner. They also answered questions I had regarding our Forrester. They went above and beyond. A nice perk was getting the car washed and vacuumed!
Sara in service was great. The whole service department experience was very good. I had a new loaner car to use. My experience in sales with Troy and everyone there has been very good.
The service personnel were courteous and quickly answered my several questions: how to adjust the height of the head-rests and how to adjust the volume of received phone calls. Upon leaving my appointment, the usual car wash was given, and the floor under the driver's feet was vacuumed--thank you!
MAJOR ISSUES:
We took my car in for a recall notice.
The car needed additional maintenence we knew about, and then we found out it needed a complete engine rebuild-
They were amazing through the whole thing, but I have a poor warranty company so it took a while for the issues to be resolved.
I got my car back after a month to have a hard engine idle issue, so it was taken back. They didn't reinstall the vacuum pump correctly.
A MONTH LATER the brakes were fixed at a different location to find the ball bearing Subaru had replaced wasn't tightened down at all, and the entire joint and arm needed replaced.
I cannot possibly recommend this dealership to anyone after my experience with their shoddy repair jobs that in the end will make you come back for additional repairs.
As always, Sommers did a great job. I checked on some future parts I may get and enjoyed your customer lounge. You said it would take an hour & it took exactly an hour. You do everything well. Keep up the good work!

AUG25, Traded in this '24 Crosstrek but loved the car. Sommers and my salesman Adam D were their usual excellent.
Customer service was outstanding! Everyone was very pleasant to work with. I made an appointment to have my car looked at, they set me up with an appointment, & was able to bring my car in the following day. They gave me a rental while they worked in my vehicle, called me to give me diagnostic's/cost before they would proceed any further. My car was fixed, washed and running smooth by the end of the day! Thank you Sommer’s Subaru! ✨
From my last post… I had my brother changed my oil. He’s a mechanic and noticed what they said they had replaced, wasn’t fully complete. Felt I never should have paid that amount for what they stated they did. Also left screws and nuts under the hood loosely laying around. We had taken pictures and will be having a word with them.
Had 12000 mile service done at Sommer's (purchased at a dealer in Kenosha). Sara did an awesome job. I mean like really awesome ;) Greeted me, went over what they had scheduled for my 24 Outback, and then broke down the costs and an approx total. Walked me into waiting area and sent my a pic of my air filter (I had them replace it). I found Sommer's Service Center to be comfortable (bathroom was gorgeous lol), professional and fast! I wish they were closer to me but it was well worth the extra drive time.
Always clean and friendly. Went for oil change. Front desk attendant was very friendly. Alex our repair department attendee was courteous and thorough.
They also washed our Subaru. They is a play area just for children and Wifi and bottled water. The bathroom was clean and shiny.
